Juney it's alright, as soon as I saw the dip yesterday and the spotting I thought I was out. It was just the slight temp rise this morning that confused things.

lucieloos · 04/03/2015 22:26

Ah right thanks nomio. I just looked up the guidelines for my area and we would need to have 3 or more private ivf treatments before being excluded from nhs so quite lucky I suppose. We can't afford to wait over 12 months for treatment though. If there was a problem with private treatments I would rather just not tell the nhs about them than have to wait for treatment. They are so slow with everything!

wotsits1 · 04/03/2015 22:27

Aww Dojo DH sounds like a sweetheart. Bless him!

We had 3 babies visit I'm work today. 3!! Was lovely but waaaah! Esp when 2 of the 3 were unexpected pregnancy!

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 04/03/2015 22:27

Thanks ladies. I shall report back as soon as I have an answer and the two blokes I secretary for fuck off out the office so I can log on xxx

dojo123 · 04/03/2015 22:28

woolly me and the DH used pressed this cycle. We used it like lube rather than using the applicator.
Yay cycle buddy. The next few days will drag before the start of the DTDathalon then the frustrating 2WW. Can't wait!!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 04/03/2015 22:31

dojo & woolly and don't think I'll be far behind you two....lying in bed and feeling the beginnings of AF twinges. Maybe I'm skipping my usual two days brown spotting this month as I don't usually cramp until cd1. Must be all that kale I've been eating Wink

cremedecacao · 04/03/2015 22:31

I think I may be out Sad. Just did my evening cervix check and came out with blood streaked cm. Surprised me, as I have never seen this before and I am not due til Saturday. Also, my cervix is still high and wet. WTF? 12dpo so I'm thinking it is more likely to be af than implantation.

Nomio230 · 04/03/2015 22:32

Good luck, glittery.

Lucie, I agree, the NHS are rubbish. They just don't seem to care that there is a time limit on conception & we want to get on with it.

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 04/03/2015 22:33

Congrats mrscatmad fx glittery
Thanks for all the good wishes, scan went fine. Thankfully she only checked from the outside. I found it strangely fascinating as you lie back and they had a screen on the celling so I could see all the bits. Anyway she said my ovaries looked good and she measured the lining which she said was a good thickness for time in cycle (Cd20). She could see I'd ov'd recently and I asked if she could tell which side (right side) so the funny pinching feeling I got last week must have been Ov. She explained about short lutael phase defect which could cause the lining not to develop enough, but said I should be ok. That was my main concern really. So I have to go back to the docs to see what he wants to do next.
I forgot to ask about tubes, I don't think she could see if they were blocked would need some other kind of scan.
Sorry that was be long.
spinning I'm proably 6/7 dpo so you should be ok.
juney glad you have got a new plan.
sammy have a look at your local CCG website you should be able to find info on there. Where I live you get refered by the Nhs to the private clinic so you would see the same consultant whether you are paying or not. If you can find out which clinic you're likely to go to you could give them a call.
I didn't know what quoina was until I started watching Australian Masterchef they use some weird and wonderful ingredients on there.
I used ovia to start with, but could not work out when I'd ov'd, it would just say you proably ov'd recently. If I enter a +ve opk it would recalculate the fertility window, and assume ov must be 24 hrs after. I now use ff along with temping opks and cm checking, think that should just about cover it.

Woolly84 · 04/03/2015 22:33

Thanks dojo, might get some ordered in readiness for the dtdathlon then!
Yeah it's dragging already, AF is taking her sweet time to get going properly this month, wish she would just get on with it! Hmm

Southy84 · 04/03/2015 22:34

Lovely another BFP congratulations mrsmadcat

Sorry to hear about AF dojo Flowers

Fingers crossed for you glittery I've never seen a evap line before (to be honest not heard of them until joined MN) but hope it's a BFP for you

Nomio230 · 04/03/2015 22:36

Sorry to all of you visited by the witch. Hmm

Woolly, not tried Preseed, but we have been using Conceive plus. It is ok, but seems to go sticky quite quickly.

MrsGingerbread · 04/03/2015 22:38

Are we calling constipation a symptom, ladies?

Sorry if it is tmi, but I don't think I've been to the loo since about November. :/

It is probably just me stopping my iron tablets in case there is a bean.

Woolly84 · 04/03/2015 22:40

Thanks Nomio, no harm in trying it I guess!
Dizzy I hope AF steers clear! Smile

ThePug · 04/03/2015 22:49

Just caught up - good to see some BFPs today but Wine and Cake to those with AF arrivals.

MrsGingerbread - why have you stopped your iron tablets? I'm on prescribed ferrous fumarate twice a day, have been for over a year, and when I saw my GP and said I was now TTC she said I should carry on taking them....

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 22:56

mrscat yehhhhhhhh!!!!!! Congrats lovely! A sparkly BFP! Our bus is ruling March!

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:01

Glittery can def see a line.. Test Tomor! How exciting!!!!!! Fingers crossed for you

Nomio I found conceive plus went sticky really quick too so switched back to preseed .. Found it much better!!

Oh Dojo sending Flowers at least you can enjoy your sushi and wine now!! You deserve it!

Good luck to anyone testing Tomor!!

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:01

Ps Dizzy good work on the eating front!! Wink

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:02

Dizzy good work on the eating today! Wink

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:14

Purple glad scan went well. Sounds quite positive then Flowers

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:18

Woolly I used preseed first three cycles and got a BFP on the third. Had an early mc and then went onto concieve plus as it was the easiest to come by but didn't like the consistency, felt it dried up really quick, so have switched back to preseed this month which I really much prefer. And it's Obvs going to bring me a BFP!! Wink I recommend it!

juneybean · 04/03/2015 23:23

sparkly where do you get your preseed from? I might give it a whirl!

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:25

Juney great news re spermies!! Sure they will behave themselves on this journey!! Wink

Sparkly123 · 04/03/2015 23:28

Juney amazon lovely, think it was about £14.. Eeek! But I hardly use any! They seem to recommend to use so much so that you use it all in one cycle. it comes with nine applicators. but honestly mine lasts much longer, so I feel it's worth it. Def prefer it over conceive plus!

MrsGingerbread · 04/03/2015 23:42

ThePug I take 3 ferrous sulphate daily. I ease off between the times ofpotential implantion and af arrival as it gives my tummy a chance to sort itself out and I just prefer to. I don't think it's a problem either way.
