Aw, Mummy, massive temp plummet to coverline here, too. My overwhelming feeling when I saw it was relief. Honestly. I cannot cope with the pretence and the bonkers delusion at the end of the 2ww.

Giddy, I'm sure you were probably puzzled by my fingers comment but I chortled at the time of reading your post as you said, 'I am crossing all of my fingers', as though you had some missing but were were galliantly crossing the rest 
I absolutely could not write an autobiography. I struggle with blogs and books written about the authors lives as it all seems so..self-aggrandising (plus it would have to be X-rated)
