Boris, will you take a look at the ingredients in my B6 Complex? Please tell me this isn't responsible for my lack of AF Sad I've only been on it since ovulation.

Boris Flowers it's a hellish time yes.. The countdown is on!

Night good luck lovely! What cd are you?

Cd 8 for me today.. Off to use my first ever dual hormone CB for the study!! Then the AI begins for my BFP cycle, Obvs. Grin

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 12:47

Sorry for duplicate.

Sparkly123 · 24/02/2015 12:51

Purdey well done lovely you cleared showed off your array of fantastic qualities! Great great news!... Although.. This does however been you won't be posting as much ..Hmm Sad nah, knowing you, you will find a way to scurry off to the loo with a twirl and your phone to update us all! Wink

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 12:57

CD4 sparkly so no hope of the sperm surviving until ovulation but it will make me feel that we are finally getting somewhere if we start tonight :) can't believe how short my AF is off the coil, used to be 8 days!

Plan is dtd CD4, 6, 8,10,11,12,13,14,15,17 and 19. Ovia has my fertile period as CD10-15 (26 day cycle). Does that sound enough?

Glad to see you back and see you on the March bus where we will get our bfps :)

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/02/2015 13:01

purdey eased to hear your appointment went well and they have an opportunity for you.
Your vit b6 is not enough to do anything, I'm on way more than that and barely noticing a difference to my cycles.

ThePug · 24/02/2015 13:03

High-five Purdey Sounds excellent and I really hope it opens new doors for you.

Night Blimey, I'd hope that'd be enough. I had trouble getting DH to bother on the fourth consecutive day! C

Nomio230 · 24/02/2015 13:08

That sounds great, night. We try to do a similar thing, but sometimes just get too tired/bored!

purdey, that is amazing news! You will be running the place in no time. Grin

sparkly I should be on the March bus too, but am still lurking here.

CD5 so nothing interesting going on for me. I rang up & cancelled out IVF appointment with the old hospital earlier & we are registering with our new surgery today. Obviously, we won't actually need the referral, as I am going to get a bfp this month. Grin

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 13:11

Yes it is very much a hoped for schedule pug, no idea how well we will both be able to cope with it! Am hoping that it is first cycle and we are enthusiastic it might happen, will be a different story if we hit later cycles I think.

Sparkly123 · 24/02/2015 13:13

night enough?! Yes I think that's enough girl!!!oooft! Good work! Good plan! We are going to follow smep just gonna start from CD 10, I think... I'm not sure.. Maybe tonight CD 8... Don't want to peak too soon either! It's a tough one!

Nomio you are defo getting that BFP this month!!

boris I thought that too re Purds B6.. It's hardly anything.. Is it holland and Barrett Purdey ??

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 13:18

Good luck Sparkly I am worried about peaking too soon as well. Could miss out tonight as the sperm won't survive but we always dtd when AF ends and DH will be disappointed to have to wait Grin

Fx for us all!

PurdeyBirdie · 24/02/2015 13:18

Yes, Sparkly, it's H&B. Thank you - and everyone - for saying such encouraging things about getting back to work. You're all so lovely.

Night there is no way you'll get pregnant with that shockingly-poor amount of sex Grin

Nomio, I can't WAIT for your bfp - however it is designed. I'm almost as excited about yours as I am mine Smile

Thank you, Boris. I did think the B vitamin was a meagre amount. Which begs the question: why the heck am I taking it? Hmm

Giddymamma · 24/02/2015 13:27

Sounds good purds! Hope you asked about maternity pay. Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 24/02/2015 13:34

Purdey that is brilliant Smile and OF COURSE you were exactly what they were looking for offers reference, possibly involving cervical fluid descriptions

I do unpaid work with a harm reduction programme in Bristol - love it. Handing out condoms and needles is honestly the highlight of my week. So many stories, so many interesting people.

Will be praying for a great experience for you - when do you start?

Sparkly123 · 24/02/2015 13:34

Purds it looks like you are taking it for the folic acid and vitamin C!!everything else is very small amount.

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/02/2015 13:35

puurdsYou need small amounts of b6 to form haemoglobin and help get energy from food. Dunno quiet how that helps.

Nomio230 · 24/02/2015 13:36

Thanks for the encouragement sparkly & purdey. I have been feeling a bit downhearted lately, but am now full of determination again. This will happen for us.

purds do you get any side effects from the Clomid? In previous months I have had hot flushes, headaches and tender boobs, but the last few days I have had an upset stomach. I am wondering if it is because I upped the dose to 100mg. Confused

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 13:53

Just informed DH of the plan, he has stated that he will be buying me some crotchless panties Shock

scrunchiemount · 24/02/2015 14:02

well ladies just got a BFN with a Boots own brand...on the other hand have had a few cups of tea in last couple of hours...and am still only 9DPO, AF due on Friday...clutching at straws

mummyofonesofar · 24/02/2015 14:16

Purds Well done!! When do you start? I worked in a District Council for free for a few months, 1 day a week for 2 months to get experience after I had DS and so they could get to know me and shake that teenage mum stereotype, then 2 days a week for 3 months then they offered me 3 days a week paid over the summer holidays (I was doing a college course) then I managed to condense my college days so I could continue the work from the Sept then went up to full time and spent 3 years there!

Night that is plenty enough phew! Me and DP peaked too early this month so fx you can sustain your plan!

Re B6, there is only 10 mg in pregnacare but it still lengthened my cycle - something to watch for.

Scrunchie Maybe break from testing and test again on Saturday? I think you must be getting yourself a bit worried about it all? Try to relax Flowers

mummyofonesofar · 24/02/2015 14:18

Just had a search and "Vitamin B6 has been widely studied to be effective at 50 mg a day to help to correct the luteal phase defect" .

Along with 750mg of Vitamin C.

scrunchiemount · 24/02/2015 14:21

mummyofonesofar how right you are but I have no willpower whatsoever. Luckily for me AF is usually like clockwork so I will know soon enough :)

TheSortingCat · 24/02/2015 14:37

Hi everyone, I kept falling off the bus because of stupid rl getting in the way.

AF got me this morning, so I'm off to hop on to March. Best of luck to the rest of you! Flowers

nightandthelight · 24/02/2015 14:40

Thanks mummy, am a bit worried about burn out but my short cycles mean that I should ovulate fairly early in cycle (CD12) so that should make things easier :)
