Welcome to the group Ella deffo book a doctor's appointment hun. You are entitled to tests if you've been ttc over 12 months. First of all they should take bloods on certain days of your cycle to check your hormones are in balance and you're ovulating and they should also send your partner off to get his sperm checked (they hate this bit!) Good luck and any questions about the tests or the results we are experts now

Hi Ella, I'm a newbie too - we started TTC January 2014 & just been for our tests last month. DH got his results yesterday & there were no problems. Do any of you have any advice as to where to go from here? My progesterone was fine & DH sperm good so where does that leave us now? I was waiting to see what DHs results are & if my late AF arrives before phoning GP but not sure what to say or ask for next?

My AF is now 5 days late but still getting BFN every morning... I'm so confused!

Hello again ladies I'm back (again!).

Been ttc for 20 months now and yesterday found out were going to have ivf. Don't think I've quite got my head around that concept yet. Like lots of people I guess, I thought that I would get that bfp by dtd after a romantic meal and be pleasantly surprised by it after only a few months of trying. For the last few months I haven't wanted to think about ttc as I've been finding it too emotionally difficult but now I've gotta focus on it.

I haven't actually been scanned yet, just had blood tests, but my OH's sperm seem to have every problem going so we've got the green light already it seems. Has that happened to anyone else?

I just got a +opk on CD14, that's unheard of for me! Maybe the inositol I've been taking is the magic wonder supplement I've been waiting for... (or more likely it's just another fluke). Anyway, stealth shagging here we go again as DH's parents are staying over until Sunday.

Vic I'm especially over the moon for your DH's sa results after the news you had last year - fills me with hope afresh!

Lady I'm still not really having cycles but when we went to our last fertility appt with the consultant all we talked about was DH's terribly abnormally low result and we were referred for IVF then and there without really talking about me at all! It's great but I've got to lose 2st before we can actually embark on the IVF. You'd think that'd be a good enough motivation for me to lose weight but I'm finding it just as hard as ever....glad you've got some progress though!!

Lauraqc I've also got to lose weight before we can start ivf. It's really scary knowing that it could happen this year!

Hi ladies, I am actually petrified writing this....but I got my bfp yesterday!!!!! at 14dpo, did a superdrug test it came up strong in less than a minute so of course confirmed on a CB digi that read pregnant 1-2 weeks!!! I am beyond ecstatic and I just had to share with you all as we have all had such a long, difficult journey but 1 year and 7 months on here it is, and it is just immense! I feel so blessed and truly believe that all the prayers and positivity I have received from others has got me to this point. I so hope that you can all join me very soon, never give up!!!!

Sorry that sent before I was finished....also thank you all you MN ladies who have supported me so much from the very start and for those who never forgot about me and kept me in their wishes and thoughts.

You are amazing ladies and I just pray so much that this is a strong, healthy, sticky little bean coz I am soooooo ready for this!!!!

Spinning I put quite a detailed account over on the bus there just for those interested but honestly I just don't know how this has happened!!!! Perhaps DH stopping smoking and improving sperm with all those vits would be what I would think has helped!
