Sorry the IUI didn't work for you non Flowers have a nice break from ttc until the ivf. Can I still pm you if I have any IUI questions whilst I'm going through it? I'm not feeling too hopeful it will work for us either but at least its doing something right? X

Vic Of course you can, no problem. I don't feel as daunted with IVF after 3 rounds of IUI so although we weren't successful, it has been useful. Fingers crossed for you, you never know!

victoria401 · 12/04/2015 15:17

The doc actually said the IUI will leave me more prepared for IVF. Asked around on the clinics FB group and there were ladies on there who it worked for. Talking to dh about it earlier and he doesn't think it will work, deep down I have accepted it probably won't either. But there is a glimmer and I know I should be positive. Its bloody hard to put on a brave positive face though when you're falling apart inside.

Still waiting on sodding af. Never arrives when you need it does it?

Hi Vic, how're you?
Nope, always regular every month. This has never happened to me before, I get ovulation pains and that was the 21st/22nd March. I might take another test in the morning and see what happens. Not sure if I'm having pregnancy symptoms or, if I'm imagining it, driving me insane!
How is everyone else getting on?Smile

lildottie · 13/04/2015 23:17

found you all again! hi honeybee and Katherine
I'd recommend acupuncture for relaxation, also meant to improve fertility. I also have some meditation CDs which are good when I find time to do them

non let us know when you get ivf dates. we'll be rooting for you!

Vic be positive. mind over matter and you never know, it may just work!

mrschatty I would say virtually normal is probably not as good as normal. definitely let us know what the detailed results are when you have them. and get dh on 1000mg vit c a day. our ivf consultant recommended this as there has been a study showungbit improves sperm quality. my dh had 3%morph 4%motility but was back in normal ranges when we got to our ivf cycle. good luck with your appt tomorrow.

sorry if I've missed anyone!

victoria401 · 14/04/2015 10:51

All we did was dtd cd11 and 13 with pos opk cd12. I can't remember which time (2nd) but I orgasmed after sex and after dh passed out bum on pillow other time. No fancy positions, no fancy pills except dh been on Vit C as recommended by lil for nearly 3 months.

Morning all! So I was all ready for my gynae visit on Monday... but AF hadn't arrived and I'd been symptom spotting (whilst trying to ignore it) like crazy. So did a test today, and it was a BFP! NOT expecting that at all. This is a lucky thread :) x

(I'm going to do another one tomorrow to be sure. Part of me feels like it might not be true!)

katherine7172 · 16/04/2015 11:36

Congratualations honey! That's brilliant Grin
Hopefully we'll all get a BFP too, my AF is a week late, had a blood test today, getting my results on Tuesday so fingers crossed Smile. x

honeybeebumble · 16/04/2015 12:10

Thanks Katherine! what was your blood test for? Have you done a HPT? x

m33r · 16/04/2015 13:03

Hey vic I come in here to see how you're all doing often. Like others, logged in today and did not expect this!! Best news ever!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! Flowers

katherine7172 · 16/04/2015 13:11

Hi Honey Smile
I have all BFN's, had one small brown spot yesterday morning, 8 days late now. Rang doctors and they told me to come in for a blood test Smile

victoria401 · 16/04/2015 13:21

M33r long time no see me old mucker! How are things with you? It was the last thing I was expecting too!

non and mrschatty*! You too!

OP posts:
honeybeebumble · 16/04/2015 13:29

Stats are:

Dtd CD 3, 5, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18... ovd I think on CD 16 (based on BBT). Highest luteal bbt I've ever had (there was a really clear difference between before and after Ov).

Taking folic acid and B6 together.

DH taking zinc, selenium, cod liver oil and something else! Been eating very healthily... that's about it. Lots of yoga and less running (doubt that has anything to do with it).

Katherine good luck with your bloods!

heyarnold19 · 16/04/2015 16:39

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining to ask a quick question? First of all congrats to all on all the lovely BFP's that are happening on this thread! I'm hoping to catch some of this good fortune Smile

I have just been to the Drs for my day 21 bloods and tried to book in an appointment for day 2-5 bloods but of course they only do blood tests on certain days which means I will have to go for either day 1 or day 6. Does this really matter? I have tentatively booked an appointment for day 6 (or what I think will be day 6) but the nurse and receptionist that I asked didn't seem to understand what I was asking!

Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI I have (on average) 28 day cycles and ovulate between day 12 and 16. Thanks x

lildottie · 16/04/2015 17:05

honey I've read u should stop b vits when u get a bfp but I'm not an expert. you may want to do some googling. congrats!

Katherine fx for good blood results!

Vic I reckon I'll be here on my own before long!

sorry hey I didn't have FSH and LH tests so no idea. hopefully one of the others will be along soon with an answer
