New to posting - AF 2 weeks late and negative HPT

Hi ladies can anyone shed any advice on what's happening with my body and if going through or been through the same? Sorry if long winded.

My last period was 23 December, I've been using an app on my phone to track my periods as I'm terrible at remembering when I'm roughly due. They're always heavy and last 5-8 days and roughly 26-30 day cycles. My period should have been due around 20th Jan, normally I've eaten my body weight in chocolate and can't even stomach it! Had on and off aches across lower abdomen but didn't feel like AF pains and then 2 days of spotting which was very pink. This stopped and my partner and I did the deed again which felt more sensitive than normal and a day after had very slight brown spotting only when wiping. I get waves of tiredness, my tummy is still slightly swollen from when AF should have visited, still on and off dull aches in lower abdomen and it feels like twinges and stretching sensation where my c-section scar is (that scar was 4 years ago and never had problems with it). My belly and chest look like a road map of blue veins, waves of tiredness and I'm having to eat little and often because I'm so full so quickly. I've had a urine test at GP which came back negative and actually was sick that morning which is odd for me, have taken HPT and negative. Any ideas what could be going on? I'm not stressed, no change to diet apart from food adiversions and no extreme weight loss/gain or exercise.

Yay glad the wait is over Kelly!!! Its a shame you didn't get your bfp though, but hopefully this will be your last AF for at least 9 months!

Hope you get that bfp soon catmad! How many do are you?

Hi, I've found your posts and I am I the same position. I have long cycles anyway but I am now 9 days late. The only thing different this month is taking seven seas trying to conceive. I have googled it and some people seem to have delayed periods on it. I have stopped it this morning and will just take folic acid. Done 2 HPTs and all negative. It's really annoying!!

still no af, is it worth testing again tomorrow? Surely if I was pregnant I would have a bfp by now?

I tested yesterday 9dpo, midday wee so.obviously bfn. Don't know why I don't to myself. Going to try to wait till the weekend if AF doesn't show. I have creamy cm too, but been so long since last AF I can't remember of that's normal or not.

I have the worlds worst cold and feel hormonal as fuck. I ended up cocking up in my assessment and then cried! Only to be told I was fine and no worse than my colleagues. But i was so cross at myself I'm doing the difficult part again today. Really hoping I'm pregnant now, at least I'll have a valid excuse then.

Other than the awful cold and tendency to cry, I feel perfectly normal apart from some slight AF type cramps. They are much later to the party than normal though so there's hope?

Could the needing to pee be caused by the extra blood flow to your nether region making your bladder go into overdrive? Only explanation I can think of

Well I got the squintiest little squinter of a pink line on an ic today. But since I've had some nasty very pink evaps I'm not going to celebrate yet. I did do the dropping on a little bit of water trick to wash away the evap, which worked on them before, but I can't remember if it was a pink or grey one. Anyway still a line. But it is beyond faint, could easily be line eyes. I'll use a proper test tomorrow plus I'll be 12dpo so I should get a definite final answer.

I'm thinking so, never been a problem before but then it has gone awol for a couple of months so anything is possible now.

Blood results are all normal apparently. Thats all that was said! I suppose im just supposed to sit tight and wait

That's really crap Charley, the waiting is the worst thing. Really hope you get answers soon. I've decided to wait till Saturday to test. I don't want any false hope if it's a negative. Still no AF symptoms which is a good sign.
