I'm waiting to hop on the Feb bus until AF arrives (due tomorrow).

Boobear, do you usually spot at the start of AF?

I went to see my gp today for something else and had a chat about home pregnancy tests. She said please absolutely don't test till your period is delayed. So I mentioned all these "early" tests. Basically then we went on to have a fascinating conversation on how long it takes for Hcg To show in blood after implantation, and then how long that shows in the urine via the kidneys, and that despite the skewed stats, the majority of women do not get positives I till after missing a period simply because if everything goes like clockwork even then detectable levels of Hcg in the urine take a certain amount of time. I mentioned FRER etc so GP said have you seen their prices? So can you see why it makes sense for them to put a six days early on the box? Because then they sell six tests and more for ten quid each to every waiting woman.

Anyway, just saying. Gp took a lot of time to talk specifically through these steps and I was quite impressed.

Focus - that's very interesting, thanks for posting. I'm definitely not testing early again, ever. Not after this weeks saga.

I posted earlier as I had the tiniest spot of blood & assumed AF was on its way but I've had nothing since. Be interesting to see how the next 24 hours pans out.

Hanging on to this bus by a thread here, had a slight temp drop this morning, not below coverline and had a very disturbed night, but I am not hopeful.

Bowies yes i usually spot a day or two before so fairly convinced I'm out this month. Not surprises really as me and other half have barely seen each other this month! I think i just have this horrible winter vomiting bug

Missmrs - yes sorry about the double posting - I don't know which bus to be on to be honest... Jan/feb/march... Is it greedy if I'm on all three?!
Making myself feel better with a little shopping spree at the moment... And I ate a LOT of mini eggs this afternoon.

Hello.

Jumped to the Feb bus but I'm still technically on the Jan bus. AF was due on Wednesday (according to Ovia). POAS and I got a BPN.

AF has still not arrived, am debating about peeing on a stick tomorrow but I think I should wait until Sunday.

Still experiencing the same non symptom symptoms. Plus have been having some very vivid dreams. Don't know if this is because I am still suffering from this cold or not.

The only weird thing I have noted is my temp. I have been taking it every morning for a week. Temps as follows:
Sat 24 - 100.00 deg F/ 38.00 deg C
Sun 25 - 99.50/ 37.50
Mon 26 - 98.90/ 37.17
Tue 27 - 98.30/ 36.83
Wed 28 - 98.60/ 37.00
Thur 29 - 99.60/ 37.56

I had a slight dip on Tuesday but its been rising since. Could anyone advise?

dojo, can you post a photo of your chart? From what I can see above you're having very erratic and rocky temps. This can be a sign of wonky progesterone, but I don't want to alarm you. Can you post a pic, please?

I have only been temping since Saturday as I hadn't had a thermometer until then. When I went to the docs last Friday they said I had a slight fever due to the tonsillitis. But I would have expected my temp to have reduced by now.

I know nothing of this temping lark. Maybe I'll buy a thermometer. FUN.
I think I can record that on ovia.

Do you just take your temp every day as soon as you wake?

The way I've been doing it is as soon as I wake up I temp. Setting the alarm to do it at the same time every morning.

dojo, ah, I can see you've just started temping last Saturday. The fever may well (almost definitely) have skewed your temps but it will take a good week or so before we can get a clearer picture.

bowie, temps should be taken, like dojo said, at the same time every day, or the chart will be skewed.

Thanks Purdey. So I'm a stuck in limbo land at the mo. Wish this cold would do one so I could tell if I've got any other symptoms.

Saying that I'm just experiencing some cramps. Maybe AF could be on the way...
