Congratulations DillyDolly - here's to a happy and healthy nine months.

Maths88 · 23/12/2014 09:50

Dastardly I don't live in the Uk so this present has to be used this week. I think I'm going to just go for it - it's very unlikely that I will have conceived this month and I've read a lot of info that it should be ok.

Why does ttc turn you into a crazy person?!

Congrats dilly

Mumwannabe82 · 23/12/2014 11:00

Aww congrats dilly xxx

dillydollydarling · 23/12/2014 11:26

Thanks everyone!

Congrats to all those with bfps and fx for those still waiting!!

DastardlyDachshund · 23/12/2014 12:13

Ah I see Maths88. I'm sure it will all be fine in either case. A lot of things aren't advised in pregnancy simply because the risks aren't known rather than being based on anything factual so try not to worry and enjoy your present Xmas Smile.

Am still lurking for now as keen to see who else graduates from this bus with an extra present this year. I am 12dpo today and re tested using another clearblue plus and pleased to see the line is a bit darker today. Pics attached for your line spottin pleasure lol, picture one is yesterday mornings and picture two is from today.

Can't really offer much help or advice as to what made this month successful as I didn't do much tbh. We dtd on cd11, cd13 and cd15 and fertility friend puts ovulation at cd15 too so that's probably what did it. I had a solid smilie on the Clearblue digital ovulation test (part of the current Clearblue study and was in my final month) on cd14 but no positive opk's at all this month which is odd for me. Used conceive plus on the days mentioned above as taking epo and cough medicine were doing nothing to help. I have had no 'symptoms' really apart from my usual pre af signs - sore boobs, tired, snappy but I have also been ill with a cold for around two weeks so put some of it down to that.

All in all, I was sure I was out this month as I thought I had not ovulated properly (no positive opk's). I was planning on returning to work soon as I am currently a SAHM but both dc are now in school so I can only assume the law of sod had something to do with things. More so as I would have been taking a break over the next 2-3 months in order to avoid other family birthdays and in order for me to settle into a job. The only other thing I would say may have helped is that I took a month off last month as I was getting a bit stressed about it not happening. I think that break and not being quite so active on here has helped me to relax more about things.

Wow !! wonderful news Dilly!!!

This bus is a great bus on balance.... I just peeked at the Jan bus, so busy already!

I seriously cannot believe blueberry is 7 weeks!!!

Loving the test pics Dastardly - do you have a dastardly dog as a fertility aid like Frolic Dog?

I am calling myself DPO2 so living vicariously through others who are planning on POAS this week!

DastardlyDachshund · 23/12/2014 13:03

Thanks tootsroots. I do have a dastardly dog but not sure how helpful he is fertility wise. He's pretty ambivalent most of the time. My pils on the other hand have a cat. It will be interesting to see if it is more attentive to me on Thursday as I know some cats tend to do.

I know it doesn't seem like that long since blueberry got her BFP. I will be 4 weeks on Thursday. I am going to keep temping until 20dpo which will take me to new years eve.

Congratulations on the BFPs!

3dpo here. Ho Hum. Waves at Candid, hello testing buddy! Let's hope cycle 5 is our lucky cycle!

tessiegirl · 23/12/2014 22:38

Just popping in to say huge congrats to milk, Dastardly and Dilly Fab news! Xmas Grin

Shnickyshnackers · 23/12/2014 23:26

I just wanted to say that I had a full on massage with a lot of pressure (if that makes sense) when I was pregnant last time, i was only early on in the pregnancy and it was all fine, i know that is not scientific proof or anything (that a hot stone massage will be fine) but i do think massages are fine.

Shnickyshnackers · 23/12/2014 23:26

massive congrats to the bfp's!! wonderful chrimbo pressies!!

MrsGingerbread · 24/12/2014 05:20

Congrats to the bfps.

Temperature dip here today so think I am awaiting af. Then I can open the wine and open my really cool 'af has arrived' present. :)

Happy Christmas Eve!

spinningirl10 · 24/12/2014 08:03

Happy Christmas Eve Morning ladiesGrin

Congratulations Dilly, wonderful Christmas present.

I'm up and out early, already been to sainsburys and M&S. Breakfast in costa now with my dsSmile 9dpo and no symptoms.

DizzyNorthernBird · 24/12/2014 09:13

Happy Christmas Eve morning!

Massive congrats to dastardly and dilly!

C'mon girls there's still a load on that list who we've yet to hear from....let's give that bfp list a boost for Christmas! Xmas Grin

On the subject of massages, I was always under the impression that they release a lot of toxins which have accumulated in the muscles, which is why you sometimes get a headache the following day. Now I have no idea whether this can affect a bean but might be worth bearing in mind!

Blue500 · 24/12/2014 09:18

Morning all - happy Christmas Eve

Bfn this morning at 11dpo but I expected it to be so. Although boobs have hurt a lot this month ( they would have stopped hurting by now normally) and felt a bit sick last night and this morning. But who knows, my body has been all over the last this month so I guess it's going to be strange right up to the end when af arrives.

Right down to pub for me this afternoon then SmileSmile

Cariad2014 · 24/12/2014 09:18

Sorry to hear about the temp dip MrsG. Here's hoping it's just an anomaly. Am I allowed to ask what your 'AF has Arrived present' is this month (whilst still hoping you don't get to open it)?

Spinning - you go girl. I am impressed with your pre-9am supermarket shopping mission. Keeping everything crossed that this is your cycle.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/12/2014 09:26

Merry Christmas eve everyone Xmas Smile sorry about your temp dip Mrs Gingerbread, hopefully not what you think it is xx
I just realised from looking back at my other 2 charts that I tend to get a spike at 9dpo then the dreaded dip at 10dpo! Got a spike today at 9dpo Hmm
Only saving grace is my temps are way higher than normal at this stage xx

Mumwannabe82 · 24/12/2014 09:29

Well done spinning for your motivation at this time if the morning, I'm I'm chill mode, mainly because I'm a little hungover Xmas Grin

DastardlyDachshund · 24/12/2014 09:53

Thank you for the congrats ladies and sorry for the temp dip MrsGingerbread. Alas I am not sure what to think now after testing with a cheapy yesterday evening with a 3.5hr hold and this morning with a tesco and a cb digital as all were BFN's Sad. Trying to hold out hope that the sample wasn't strong enough as it was paler than the last two mornings (sorry for tmi) but the pessimist in me is expecting the worst now.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/12/2014 10:15

Oh no Dastardly Sad so hoping that the cheapie ones don't detect HCG as well as your clear blue!! I would get the same as what you used before and see what it says today xxx

DastardlyDachshund · 24/12/2014 10:22

Thanks Mumwannabe82 I was hoping that too and have seen on here that they aren't as good as the other tests. But for the Tesco one and a Clearblue digital to be negative as well does not look good.

Mumwannabe82 · 24/12/2014 10:40

Well I've seen on various sites that digital ones aren't as good at detecting either so don't lose hope just yet Flowers what dpo are you today? X

DastardlyDachshund · 24/12/2014 10:45

I am trying to think positive (at least some part of me should be lol) and hope that they are false negatives. I am 13dpo today and usually AF would arrive at this point. My temp is still up so that is a good sign I suppose.

Sparkly123 · 24/12/2014 10:51

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a very merry Christmas and a BFP filled new year! Positive thoughts to those in the TWW! Ive not had a minute to read back yet but intend to soon. Hope everyone is ok and sending baby vibes to all! I'm CD 6 now, so won't be long until dtd starts again!
Merry christmas! I'll be popping over to the January bus now and hoping for a New Year BFP! Come on 2015!!!

Dastardly keeping fingers crossed for you. Flowers
