Apologies for being a bit quiet so far this month. It's been the usual pre-Christmas craziness of work, present shopping etc.

Massive congratulations to Blueberry and everyone else who got bfps, and sorry for everyone who got af. She sucks!

4dpo here, and what a freaking week it's been! The day after suspected o day (after +opk) I managed to get my first (and please God, last) uti and have spent the last 4 days in hell! My God, I never knew they were so horrendous. I've spent most of my time sitting at the top of the stairs with a book, being too scared to venture too far from the toilet. Massive googling meant massive drinking of water, cranberry juice, etc while waiting for yesterdays doctors appointment. Got given amoxicillin after telling doc about ttc (cue more manic googling) and finally today I don't feel the constant need. Relieved. Literally. I do also have a massive cold though. Great.

On the plus side, this is my first month of temping and ff kindly confirmed ov for me yesterday morning. I'm not liking my chances this month though, mainly due to feeling so run down and crap, so trying not to get too hopeful for a birthday bfp on 13th.

That's me up to date lol. Apologies for rabbiting on fx for everyone!

Hey ladies so shouldn't be checking this at work but could use some advice. I am preoccupied as have cramps and backache but not due to ov until Saturday. Opk line is faint but we've been cracking on anyway just in case. Have been taking epo, can this bring ov forward by a few days? All a bit confusing.

Ov cramps happening at the mo! Cd20. The opks didn't show straight away but this afternoons one has two dark lines... Guess I'll be trying to dtd tonight and over the weekend :-) let's hope DH is ok for it as we re taking a relaxed approach for ttc no.2!

Hi everyone

I just did a test (couldn't resist in the end!) and at the end of the 10 mins there was definitely no line. However I left it on the side and when I looked again there is a faint, blurry line...
I'm not even sure if the line is in the correct place on the test, and if it is, does it count after 20 minutes???

I have attached a pic, but its really blurry (have a better one on my phone, but am a technophobe and can't get it from my phone to the computer to upload!)...any advice welcome before I officially lose the plot!

quietly that was me last cycle! horrendous! I was in pain all the way to my fingers and toes! This cycle I have been for a wee every time after DTD and it has helped. Hope you're over the last of it.

genni so sorry you're finding work stressful! I know how awful that can be. Worrying that it would affect my chances of TTC made me even more stressed! Just do as much as you can to unwind when not at work.

Cd5 here. It's going slowly! I'm thrilled to report that I haven't had any spotting yet - usually have ov bleeding then a random day here and there. Also my temps are looking ok - no odd dips or anything. Fx it's a good cycle for me! Please! And everyone else too

Laura - I'm 13dpo - but very crampy which is why I'm wondering if it was just a faulty test or maybe it got wet and the dye spread ( I left it in the bathroom). Will test again in the morning, but I'm not sure.

I just wanted to update you all as it might give some hope. I saw my doctor today and she asked me the first day of my last period. I told her 5th November and then she wanted to know how long it lasted. When I said 3 days she wanted me to describe the bleeding. (Tmi! Sorry!) I said it started off as a brown discharge and ended up being very light, almost pale pink compared to normal. So then I had to give dates of my October period and how long it lasted for. It was normal 6 days for me. Also I said my cycle was regular at 28/29 days and AF in November was after 33 days. So basically she actually thinks I'm 8 weeks pregnant despite me having bfn's all through October/November! She said it does happen and I need a scan to tell me actually how many weeks I am. I said to her I thought I was imagining it but my jeans feel tight, I'm nauseous in an evening and I keep getting a weird fluttering motion in my tummy, low down. She said that fits in with 8 week symptoms. Fingers crossed for everyone! I didn't know that about having bfn's. I presumed it would always show up! xx
