Morning all,

treacle so sorry for the BFN, you so deserve this. If AF is to come, then hope you have christmas luck on the next cycle.

frolic poor you with your illness, that sounds rubbish (I had similar over potential ovulation time last month... not fun or conducive to romance!). Fx for this cycle, especially with DTD timing being good.

quietly that is amazing news!!! Congratulations on your engagement, enjoy wedding planning. Hope you're BFP follows soon, whether his cycle or next.

lala it's massively looking good for you with a FRER line which is getting stronger :) Both implantation dpo and also the level HCG rises varies a lot between women which is why it wasn't yet showing on a CB.

rainy I made exactly the same mistake when I had my ovary scan earlier this month, though it would be like a baby scan, was a bit confused when she asked me to take off my knickers!

I'm not 100% sure I've ovulated. I've been opk-ing twice a day. I got what looked positive one on CD18, although it was with FMU which I think can give false positives. It had gone by 5pm though so I'm not sure. Also had negligible CM up till yesterday, I know clomid can cause dryness so we've been using preseed lubricant each DTD time.

If I did ovulate on CD19, then we DTD cd15, 17, 18 and 20 (we tried on 19 but not successfully...) so hope that's enough. We're going to DTD EOD for the next 10 days still just in case (cycles before clomid were generally 50 days). I actually had creamy CM yesterday, I got a little excited as I know it was a symptom for blueberry on clomid, then I realised it is FAR to early for symptom spotting!

Frolicacid · 14/12/2014 07:41

Congratulations quietly.
FlowersWine for you treacle.

Fo any of you ladies know how long I need to hold my wee for to use a frer? I'm 11dpo. Not really hopeful but my temps are good. I feel dreadful - still sickly and now coughing and snotting. (Which could account for the high temps). I need to test so I can decide what meds I can take.
I had a bleary eyed wee at about 4 am. Have had 1/2 a cup of green tea since. Do you think a frer would be accurate if I try and hold for a few more hours? I'm pretty dehydrated, so it's prob going to be quite concentrated.

DastardlyDachshund · 14/12/2014 07:50

Massive congratulations to you Quietlyhopeful81. Glad you got such a great birthday present Xmas Smile.

So sorry about your BFN Treaclepie19. I hope things turn around for you soon. I know how crushing it can be when you are so sure something is different this time and your hopes get raised so much just to be torn down again when af arrives or you see that solitary line. I know it will be very poor consolation but at least you can enjoy the festive season with a drink (or more) and look at 2015 as a new start ttc wise.

I am apparently 3dpo this morning although fertility friend wasn't sure until I took out my opk results which were all negative and conflicting with the temp rise and the flashing smilie/solid smilie I had a few days ago Xmas Hmm. Only DTD around three times over the last week or so but once on the day I supposedly ovulated so hopefully that will give me a good shot at it. No 'symptoms' of anything yet though, not even my usual post ov symptoms.

It does move my BFP/AF date to the 25th though so I am either going to be giving my husband an unexpected extra present or I'll be indulging rather a lot myself on the day. If my stats could be updated with the new date though, I would be appreciate it.

Cariad2014 · 14/12/2014 08:40

Congratulations on your engagement Quietly - such fabulous news.

Sorry about the temp drop Treacle. Fx AF stays away.

Keeping everything crossed for you Frolic. Not sure how definitive any hpt can be at 11dpo (although from memory, the Fertility Friend website lists the percentages of those who are pregnant who get a positive at each DPO for all the commonly found hpt brands) and FRERs are quite sensitive, so I would hold your pee for as long as you can and then have a go.

Frolicacid · 14/12/2014 08:49

Thanks cariad. According to the ff website the likelihood of a positive (if pregnant) at 11dpo is 78%. And frer's are one of the most sensitive tests. Going to hold for another hour and give it a go.

letsdothisthing · 14/12/2014 08:58

So sorry Treacle - it's horrible when all through the 2ww you're so full of symptoms and hope and then get brought down to earth with a thud! I even shine my phone torch on the tests desperately searching for any glimmer of a second line - DH thinks I'm insane!! Find it easier to deal with once AF has arrived and when I can plan the next cycle!

Good luck for later on Frolic, will be keeping my fingers crossed for you :-)

nicelyneurotic · 14/12/2014 09:01

I'm out, AF has arrived (6 days late).

I might see some if you one next bus. Good luck to everyone who is yet to test!

RoseBud2015 · 14/12/2014 09:12

Quietly congratulations!! Maybe your bfp will arrive too in an amazing double whammy!

lala keeping my fingers crossed for you poas again tomoz!

Dizzy Opk sticks are going faint again now so didn't actually get a fully pos one again Angry I'm now wondering if its my body gearing up for ov but not managing it!? Like sparkly I have none of my usual "run up to AF" symptoms including no sore boobs or cramping Confused

treacle keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you in next hour x

RoseBud2015 · 14/12/2014 09:14

Sorry treacle that should say frolic, but fingers crossed no AF turns up for you tomoz x

ShootTheMoon · 14/12/2014 09:16

Congratulations quietly! What lovely news Smile

victoria401 · 14/12/2014 09:21

Congrats quietly!

Sorry for the bfn treacle :-(

Good luck testing frolic I shall check back later!

Well I still have zero symptoms at ?9dpo? Apart from a hangover from my Xmas meal of course! Fuzzy head and nausea but very self induced! Xmas Grin

Boosk · 14/12/2014 09:32

Yay! Congrats on your engagement quietly

Sorry for the bfn treacle hang in there!

Fx for you frolic you must be counting down the minutes now.

I'm not happy that ff adjusted ov to CD17 which means we completely missed it. I just knew day 14 was too early! Anyway I signed up for VIP membership yesterday and can recommend to anyone thinking about it. Lots of lovely analysis tools to obsess over.

WestCountryLondonGirl · 14/12/2014 09:40

lala toothache am completely with you on the need to see lines on lots of sticks! It also helped DH finally believe that it wasn't a fluke and we had really done it. My frer also got darker throughout the day...
Currently positive sticks (and lack of AF) are my only real symptom. It's really satisfying to see i.c.s get progressively darker over the course of a week.

Treacle so sorry about the bfn - here's hoping the temperature drop is just a blip.

Rainy34 · 14/12/2014 09:45

Congratulations on your engagement quietly!!

Sorry for the bfn Treacle, but hope af stays away!!

Goodluck Frolic, hoping you come back with some good news!!!

Boosk, did you get any signs that you was ovulating on cd 17?,

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/12/2014 10:08

Sorry I've only read back a few posts as so busy here at the moment. Plus the sickness bug has hit our house.

Congratulations On your engagement quietly.

Sorry to all of those that have been visited by the evil witch. Fx for next month.

Well nothing to report here. 7 dpo and absolutely no symptoms what so ever. Quite a bit of cm but that's it. Pretty sure I'll be on the Jamuary bus

xBlueberry88x · 14/12/2014 10:08

Congratulations Quietly how lovely hope its followed by a bfp!

Bovny The creamy cm was only internally and very much like a thick white paste tmi I know lol but I had it from ovulation it was so different from the creamy cm I had normally after ovulation. Clomid should also make you have a shorter cycle.

Treacle So sorry for the bfn

Frolicacid · 14/12/2014 10:12

Oh my god! Oh my god! Holy shit!

Ding dong merrily on BFP!! Step into Xmas with the BFP-laden December bus full of mince pies, santa hats, and festive treats (Thread 2)
Boosk · 14/12/2014 10:12

One thing I've learnt from this cycle rainy is that I'm embarrassingly bad at recording the signs consistently. I did have positive opks on CD15 and 16 and ewcm on days 14-16, so I guess that fits, but I had what I thought was ov pain on cd19. My temps have been all over the place too because I'm waking a lot in the night.

I'm learning a lot at least and will improve my recording next month.

Boosk · 14/12/2014 10:13

FROLIC!!!

Treaclepie19 · 14/12/2014 10:13

Thank you ladies x

Massive congrats Frolic!!!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 14/12/2014 10:21

Oh wow fabulous Sunday morning news. Huge congratulations Frolic Grin

victoria401 · 14/12/2014 10:22

Woohoo! frolic! Congratulations hunni!

I have a strange urge to buy some frer now.... Need to pop to Argos later to pick up a reserved item and guess what shop is right next door? BOOTS! I never ever test early though and I've no reason to as zero symptoms. I guess they have long dates and I might need one after fertility treatment in the new year......

toothachereturns · 14/12/2014 10:38

Congrats Frolic!!!!! Grin Grin

xBlueberry88x · 14/12/2014 10:39

Frolic Congratulations woohoooo

Treaclepie19 · 14/12/2014 10:39

Go for it Victoria!

I'm still holding onto hope, I'm crazy :p
