Lala that must be so frustrating and confusing! If you are getting a line on frer, that means you have the pregnancy hormone HCG in your system. You don't have it unless you are pregnant or taking a specific medication (cold meds).

The others will be neg because your level of HCG is low. This may mean that the egg hasn't successfully implanted (but a stronger line is a good sign) or simply that you're not producing HCG at high levels yet, due to late ov, late implantation, or something else.

If AF stays away you should find that you get positives on the other tests soon. If you can manage to wait, try again in a couple of days.

You have my sympathy as it must feel massively like limbo land. But unless you're taking some very specific medication then there is no other way for the hormone to be present unless you are pregnant

Tentative congratulations

From what I've read FRERs are the most sensitive & IC & CB don't pick it up until a while later. If you're testing early it sounds promising!

Think I OV'd yesterday, a lot of warm cramping & wet feeling although no EWCM. Temp shot up this morning. If it's confirmed in a couple of days I'll be thrilled because my cycle has been shortened & less erratic (see charts). Did soy & acupuncture last week

Hope you enjoyed your parties ladies, I had a crap one. Someone brought their 8 week old baby. Someone else said their wife could not make it because her bump was making her tired, due in the spring. And then my friend said to me in front of everyone else "oh you're drinking wine, you've not started ivf yet then?"!! My 'friend' WAS the only person in the room who knew our troubles so now her workmates and sister etc know too! Every other person at that party were her friends not mine, I only see them all at her many gatherings so I guess its not that bad. I don't want their pitying looks tho. Wish I never told said 'friend'

Sparkly, victoria, nutella and Rain looks like we'll all be poas on the 19th if we can wait that long. Woke up this morning thinking I was a bit crampy but could be imagining it. Still getting blood when I blow my nose but getting over a cold so probably nothing. Don't you just love the fact that whatever symptom you decide you're having a quick Google finds lots of 'evidence'that it us an absolute definite sign of pregnancy. Totally jealous of people who discover they are pregnant and 8 weeks gone.

Off to find some bargains at the shops!

xmas party here too last night - I had a couple of glasses of fizz and then wine with the meal. Fairly sure I'm not upduffed so not too worried. just about to hit the gym to try and work off the mountain food I consumed though!

Cariad, I worked out my due date if I get my BFP next month and it would be 16 September! It's a sign. Loving the fact that there were loads of BFPs last January.

Waves at Frolic - what happened after your impressive temp dip?

You asked about my non bfp symptoms during the 2ww this month (which must be progesterone induced as we've taken a break from ttc this month), they are: indigestion, tiredness (although it's difficult to know whether this is merely because work has been super busy), bigger boobs and lots of creamy cm.

In case anyone is interested, the signs I've had with my two BFPs in addition to the above were: frequent urination; super sensitive and erect nipples; creamy cm lasting beyond 11dpo and a total lack of AF cramps during the 2ww (although I'm conscious that for some, cramping is a good sign plus I've never had a 'normal' pregnancy given that my first was a cp and my second an ectopic, so who knows whether I'll get cramping when I finally achieve that elusive 'normal' pregnancy).

Oooh Trixie - can I join you in the sign spotting? DH and his Dad both share a birthday in October and I've worked out that if I get my BFP on the February bus my EDD will be their birthday!

Obviously I'd love a BFP on the January bus. Surely being off work and relaxed over Christmas must hugely increase our bfp chances?

Good morning! Not such a good morning in the frolic house I'm afraid. Tmi, but I have explosive diarrhoea. Feel terrible. We were due out for a christmas lunch today with family friends and mil. Will have to send DH alone while I languish on the sofa.
I've been feeling like I'm coming down with something all week. Hopefully this is it and I will get it out of the way before Christmas. I'm always ill at christmas.

cariad. My temps have gone back up and the cramping had stopped. I have been feeling weird for a couple of days, but it was probably this bug coming on. I'm 10 dpo today so will know either way in a few days.

Scan went well, i didn't realise it was an internal scan, silly me thinking it was like you have on your first scan when you have a baby, so that freaked me out a bit and was really nervous, but they said everything looks fine and it looked like i had ovulated, the lady showed me my ovaries and the follicle, she just said that i may just take some time to conceive , least its put my mind at rest for a bit

Victoria that really is so shitty! Maybe you should mention how you feel about her comments so that she doesn't make the same mistake again!?

I am so confused! Had an almost pos opk on Sunday so assumed I'd missed the pos and DTD anyway. But this morn I have this result..... Would you say this is pos ov? On one side of the test line its really dark. Darker than control line but other side of test light is lighter!

Rainy Ah yes they are always internal when looking at your ovaries etc its always a nice surprise!! Least it put your mind at rest...Ive forgotten how come you needed a scan?
