Hc899 - from what I've read the horrible false positives are really rare, and I've only found posts regarding this happening with internet cheapies. I'm so sorry that my experience is stopping you from believing your result, but I understand you being cautious. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you X

Think I ovulated yesterday had positive opk and pain/ cramp down one side all afternoon and night , which I have had before, managed to dtd last night but hubbie at first said he was tired but think he thought better off it ha ha, might try and see if we can dtd tomorrow just incase, I sm going to try and not symptom spot , ha ha (yeah right!!!!!) ??

hc899 keeping fingers crossed for you! I read on one of these boards superdrug tests are most sensitive if that helps? Maybe Tesco are looking for a higher concentration.luck luck luck!

Thanks Shnicky! I hope your tests arrive soon!! I use amazon cheapies but switch to CB smiles when a faint line appears and almost always I seem to have my LH surge between day 12-14.

Toohardtothinkofaname thanks! The TWW has officially begun! Hoping this is our month but will take on board what you said re dtd day of and after OV too. I find it quite confusing all the different signs. Been using the OPKs religiously however this month I thought I should track my CM more which is why we started dtd earlier.. My fertile CM seemed to disappear by end of day 14 which is why we stopped then! I also can't quite get a hang of temping as my chart temp does increase but only slightly?!

I have heard lots of us say that they were convincedAF was on the way when they finally got their BFP so stay positive! And as your temps etc are high, it sounds promising! Wishing you lots and lots of magical Christmas luck!

Beautician I've been using my cm to track for a few months alongside a period tracker and it does seem to tally for me but it's not exactly the most precise thing. Think it might just be optimistic thinking!

Into the 2ww for me today, got some v clear positive OPKs on Friday and Saturday and managed to DTD at hopefully the right time. I find it so hard not knowing whether an egg/sperm combo is growing and multiplying right now inside me! I read a really interesting article today- do you know that pigs release A WHOLE PINT of semen when they ejaculate and their penises have a screw end that matches with the shape of the lady pig's cervix to lock them together so as not to waste a drop?! Makes me look at Peppa's Mum and Dad in a totally new way .

hc89 it's so hard but I think you should try and relax and believe the FRER (Both of them!), I see that as the 'official' test and wouldn't trust a non sensitive Tesco. How about trying a digital clear blue over the next day or so, seeing the words coming up unequivocally may help?

hc899 yay for two lines again! The hormone doubles every other day which could explain why your line wasn't any darker today than yesterday. If you tried again tomorrow it'd hopefully be darker.

Excuse me while I just sulk for a minute... This cycle had been going so well for me until yesterday (8dpo) we DTD and when I went to the loo after I had pink cm which looked like fresh blood mixed with DH's semen (sorry tmi)

This morning it is just clear with some discoloured bits so the fresh blood has stopped. Now I have AF cramps.

I think I'm going to be out and what's so annoying is my LP will be short again if AF comes today or tomorrow.

Sorry for moaning but I was really quite confident we had done it this time! It's been a year since we started TTC (with a few months off in the middle) so it feels ultra depressing.

I’ve been slack with temping, haven’t temped properly since Thursday as I’ve been away/getting up late/drinking wine! This morning I woke early and was really hot but by the time I decided I wasn’t going to get back to sleep and took my temp it was 36.61 which is low for me post ov.

Well quite clearly I just love tormenting myself - just done two ic's and they were negative...then just to rub it in a bit more I did a Clearblue Digital which was 'Not Pregnant'....could still be too early at 11DPO I guess??
