I used the cheapie ones from amazon rainy. Think they were a fiver for 30. They seemed to work pretty well for me and i could test twice a day.

This was probably the only month that we actually dtd on the day of the first positive. The other times it was before or after so maybe thats what did it this time.

Oh and also i'm proof that 'obsessively' planning and charting does not prevent u from getting pregnant as so many helpful people like to suggest and that u can also be mega stressed and bordering on depressed and still get pregnant. I spent practically all this month crying and moping around and everyone said that would affect it too.

Going to play my last ever roller derby game today. Ive had a google and theres plenty of info to say its safe in the early stages. I'll defo stop after today though.

It isn't silly Spinning, its hard at any time of year but i understand at christmas it's not so easy, on the plus side you can enjoy a few drinks at christmas , i know its no consolation , try and stay strong i know its hard but you will get there!!!

Another bloody bfn on a cb ( have no frer left ) . I've had cramps on and off from about 7 dpo so thinking about this all the time it's hell . I never feel like this with a normal af when we haven't tried so I think I often get somewhere but then it goes wrong early on . It's beyond frustrating they could never find anything wrong with me. I'm petrified that it'll just end up like this if I do an expensive Ivf cycle atleat with dd we had some hope it succeeding with a healthy surrogate and it did ...

I also managed a BFP in September at a time when I was super stressed about ttc, so as you say it's definitely do-able.

Having dinner tonight with a friend who's 15 weeks pg (what I would be if my last BFP hadn't been an ectopic) and another who has just had a baby. Not looking forward to it, but I figure I can't avoid them forever, and I'll probably feel better once I get there.

Thanks cariad, it's been nearly a year now since we started on this time around

Nordic - it's so unbelievably difficult isn't it? When we started ttc in May I was so convinced I'd get upduffed immediately and be holding a baby in my arms come my Birthday next spring. It very nearly did happen that way, but a cp and an ectopic later, I now realise that we'll be lucky if we manage to have a baby in 2015 at all. I'm also starting to wonder whether there is anything wrong with me. All that keeps me going is the hope that we've just been terribly unlucky and that sometime soon it will work out. Keeping everything crossed that you get your BFP and a healthy, sticky bean very soon.

DPO9 here...waiting game. Going to distract myself by going for a walk this afternoon with DH via the post office to send off Christmas cards around the world. Can't wait until we come home in less than 2 weeks!

The only thing giving me hope is that this cycle is different to all my previous ones - no spotting at all since AF, no symptoms at all (when I normal have loads then get AF) and my temps look ok. Oops I am getting my hopes up when I shouldn't.

Hi ladies, I haven't read back yet, but will do...well I had a really bad pain in my back Thurs night, as well as sharp stabbing pain in my womb, that made me almost double over at times.

Low & behold Fri morning I woke with bad cramps, and full blown AF 6 days later than normal TMI alert...I had an awful lot of clots & the flow was heavy from the start.. not normal for me TBH.

The doc rang me yesterday & said the results weren't back yet, but should be Monday. She said that she is hoping the blood tests would shed more light on what happened, but that it appeared to be a very early loss...she said though that we may never know for certain.

Well I wish you all luck & I hope you all get a wonderful festive BFP! I hope I too will get a Christmas miracle, & a January BFP! x

Oh Spinning I am gutted for you! We can keep each other company on the January bus, but I know that is of little comfort x ((Hugs))

Hello all, I'm new! To Mumsnet - this is my first post
I've just started TTC and quite excited but nervous about it. So lovely to get some 2ww company and hear all your stories.
For the stats, I'm 34, TTC no. 2 (my rainbow), on cycle 1, and due BFP on approx Dec 14th. Although my cycle is really irregular, so I haven't a clue, really.
Hoping for some Christmas miracles!
