Spinning; acupuncture was lovely. The girl asked me loads of questions about myself & personality & I was so surprised at how much I told her & how fast so comfortably. Had needles in my feet, arms, forehead & lots in my abdomen & felt it immediately. When she left me in the dark to relax I felt like I was so in tune with what was going on inside.

Going back on the 20th which will be 10dpo so she can lengthen my lp. Last time it was only 7 days so hoping I even make it to that!

Oh & she told me running was bad & Guinness is good so I love her

Blueberry, I love your tree I to am a tree perfectionist, over the years I've even trained the dc although when they were smaller they had their own tree to cover in tinsel and decorate as they pleased.

Toohard, sorry forgot to say. Pleased you enjoyed the accupunture and even found it relaxing, can't imagine having needles stuck in you relaxing fx it works for you and improves your lp.

Hi west country such lovely news! You don't need to jump and get a thyroid function test on Saturday but just phone your gp and ask for a blood test within the next week or so. It's important they do tsh, t4 and the other one I forget what it is? Free something? You will require more thyroxine in your pregnancy. Ttc I was on 250mg and ive gone up to 275mg, but expecting to go to 300mg. At booking they may want to refer you to an endocrinologist, but in all honestly your gp should be able to manage your bloods which is what I've opted to do. My last blood test wasn't great so I'm feeling quite poorly. It was 12, where as when ttc it was 0.something. So really get on top of the bloods promptly and you should be fine. Remember thyroxine works on a cumulative basis, so even upping the dose today youd not feel the affects for s few weeks, possibly a month. Also make sure you're taking iron supplements as thyroid and low iron store are linked. You need both to feel well. Feel free to pm me any time, ive had it 18 years and I'm on my 6th baby. Had fluctuating levels all my life and it's a fine balancing act to get to the right level. Also cut all caffeine out of you can as it prevents absorption.

Finally feel like a I can join! We are starting ttc at the end of the month just waiting for next af due Christmas Day.

I'm 29 this will be our first, extremely excited but terrified at the same time. Will be nice to have you ladies that are in the same place as me

Not a sniff of a second line on OPK yet (cd14), I understand it's supposed to be 5-9 days after stopping taking the clomid (it's 8 days after now) so hoping to see the second line soon. We'll be DTD every night for next few nights anyway though!

Well done to everyone who's got their BFPs. We'll all get there eventually. The 2 week wait has just begun for me. We DTD every other day up to ovulation so keeping everything crossed that this could be my month.

Well another bfn this morning and my temperature has dropped significantly so I'm pretty sure I'll be getting a visit from af this afternoon or tomorrow.

Guess I'm proof that you can get false BFPs.

did my temp this morning and it's down at 35.4 I checked a couple of times!
what could make it so low?

So here's my stats.

Age 31, Ttc #1, on cycle 5. Have wanted a baby since I was a little girl, I was just super unlucky in love.

This month I stopped all supplements apart from folic acid.
I was suffering with UTI and an itchy vag on my positive opk days so I bought balance activ conveive stuff to help them a long the way. That was the only thing we did differently. We dtd on cd 18 & 19 which is when I got my two days of positive opk.

Had cramps from 6dpo to 9dpo and red fresh blood from 7dpo to 9dpo with a temp dip on 9dpo so I figured I was definitely out this month. The blood was never a full flow but was there everytime I wiped or if I squeezed it out.

10dpo temp rose and bleeding completely stopped. Not a single trace of blood or spotting, just creamy cm. Cramps eased off as well.

11dpo BFP on Internet cheapie (one step kind with a strength of 10) then at 9pm a BFP on a FRER.

No other major symptoms so far apart tiredness but I'd been working long hours so it may have been down to that. Could taste a metallic taste all yesterday but that's probably just my imagination going into overdrive.

Glad I enjoyed my last mulled wine on Thursday as I thought I was out!

Good luck to everyone else. Ttc is an extremely emotional journey and you have no idea until you start the journey yourself how hard it is going to be so I have a new found respect for people who are trying for a baby.

We have started dtd every other night from thursday, told DH we need to try and do it more this month, incase that is where we are going wrong, so far he is stepping up, il be walking like i am wearing a nappy on by the end of my fertile week, lol still negative opks, on cd 11, ovia says i usually ovulate cd 13, so will see what happens

Dozy congrats on the bfp on the frer, wishing you a happy healthy nine months, you have proved that ladies that spot can get pregnant, that gives us all hope!!

Spinning that sucks about af at least you get to hang around on the bus and fx acupuncture will do the trick. My 3rd session yesterday was amazing. Totally fell asleep I was so relaxed

Cd8 here. We had a massive power cut last night so ideal time to dtd but DH wasn't in the mood and just wanted to go to sleep early humph! Plus he's away for the whole weekend so will jumping on him tues night when he's back ready for ovulation
