BeauticianNotMagician81 Ahh that sounds like me!
I have two with my exp who also has no involvement.
I am monitored more (both m/c's and CP was before DS was born) so I had scans at 7 weeks with DS and DD

Unfortuantely I had eclampsia with seizures with DS so we were very poorly but although i developed pre-eclampsia with DD she was born safely by c-section at 38 weeks.
I am in much better shape now and have a million times less stress!
DH is incredibly supportive, but doesn't want to JIAC just yet, he wants to give it a few months. But with my history of being slow to conceive / difficult holding on to a sticky one I would rather get a move on!
Doc will not offer me Metformin, or refer me for Chlomid at present.
My progesterone levels were crap last month (3) but slightly better although poor (10) this month.

Sounds amazing that your DH wants another! I think my DH will just stick to one, but he really really wants a baby so I hate being a failure!

No AF yet, so I am not counting myself out until the decorators arrive!

Smile

BeauticianNotMagician81 I'm a PCOS victim, although only borderline according to tests - July was a 60 odd day cyle, August 40odd, September/October 28 days (first time ever!) and this month nothing??

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 10/11/2014 16:49

Number goodness you have been through it. Seizures as well Sad However, other than pre eclampsia you did go on to have by the sounds of it a relatively 'average' pregnancy so your body can do it.

You are not a failure at all. Pregnancy is hard so much can happen at any given stage. I have been incredibly lucky and I am eternally grateful to be blessed with 3 beautiful boys. My eldest child is autistic and I get comments where people compare him to a 'normal child' it hurts but some people just aren't intelligent or sympathetic enough to understand what a fellow human being may feel. I have seen heartbreak around me and its so sad. It's always my friends that want it so bad that I know would make the best parents that seem to struggle as well. It infuriates me so much that some people that have been blessed can't be bothered with their children. I've fallen out with many, many people over it including my SIL. My other SIL is in the situation where she desperately wants children, has no partner and is approaching 40.

Good that you had two 28 day cycles it looked like they were settling then so maybe a BFP is due. If not at least you know there is going to be help available. I know it's longer away than you want but you probably won't need it Smile

Hi all would like to join if thats ok? Could i be added to the stats please Lucie -

Age 29, Ttc#1, cycle 5, bfp due ? 14th

I had a static smiley on the 30th so poss 10/11dpo? Going to try and hold out to POAS until Friday 14th!
Very difficult because i work with babies and its so hard not to think about it every day!

Congrats on all the BFPs today! Fingers crossed for a lucky week and month! Smile

Aprilray · 10/11/2014 17:04

It’s only been just over 2 days since I last checked in and it has taken me ages to catch up!
Warning – massive post coming up.

Victoria, your facial sounds lovely. I love a good facial, try and treat myself every few months. Good to hear that you recommend reflexology. I have just contacted a local reflexologist and waiting to hear back about an appointment. Read a book and the author recommended it. FX!

MaMaPo, so sorry to hear that AF arrived, what crappy timing she has sometimes! Thanks

Spinning, what is AF playing at?! I had a weird 20 day cycle my second month of ttc, felt really robbed of the chance to POAS but then decided that I had a head start on my next cycle. I’m not sure what caused mine (maybe stress) but went back to normal straight away. I’m sure yours will too.

Cariad, it must be so hard dealing with the baby boom. It is hard enough ttc without that. I am fortunate that only a few of my friends have kids, though I can see that changing in the not too distant future.

Broody, Soap and Want, Yay for a hatrick of BFPs !! Congratulations ladies Smile

So, AF was waiting for me in a grotty club toilet in the early hours of Sunday morning ruining my night! The Wine numbed the pain. Feeling pretty weary but not as gutted as I thought I would be bearing in mind I really had my hopes up.

I was really worried that I had jinxed the thread starting luck but it was well after ovulation time when I started it so probably too late. I am convinced that I will get my luck this cycle. Also I had my tarot cards read in July and was told to expect good news in 4-5 months which is November/December time. MrsE’s tarot reading turned out to be true Smile
Oh, and planning a name change for luck (and cos I’m bored of this one) so this will be my last post as Aprilray.
Will be hopping on the December bus but will be lurking on here. Best of luck everyone x x

Bovnydazzler · 10/11/2014 17:08

Whoop for a brill BFP day! Stats are looking good for November, it's gotta stay that way now!

Blueberry sorry you're crampy, I'm not looking forward to clomid side effects next month (I'm assuming BFN in November). Will you be monitored at all this cycle? The doc said it's just 1 cycle I'll be monitored for as long as tests show ovulation the 1st month. I think ill still give clomid a go even if I did get my 1st +be OPK without it this month, if only to try and bring down my cycles under 40 days.

So I'm CD 36, I think 4 dpo. My last cycles (anovulatory I think) were 93 days then 51 days so I'm going to test 12 dpo rather than wait for missed AF date as no idea on that. All these early BFPs are breaking my resolve to hold out till then though!

I'm a little weary my OPK is invalid, I've read (during my internet obsessive research...) that using FMU can give false positives. It was much stronger than the control line though so I'm holding to it!

Anyone testing tomorrow? (Need something to look forward to for the Tuesday morning, 2ww blues!)

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 10/11/2014 17:54

Just told me Mum (she is an ob-gyn so no hiding there) she is thrilled but she asked me if it was planned?! Of course it bloody was! I did point out to her there is no time like the present seeing as we are married, own our own house, I have just got promoted, we have maternity savings... Mothers, eh?

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 10/11/2014 17:54

*my Mum! terrible typing

xBlueberry88x · 10/11/2014 18:05

Bovny nope they are leaving me to it until February so I better get a bfp before it.
I didnt used to get positives on opks but last few months I started to how ever I still wasnt ovulating (blood test negative).
The side effects haven't been to bad I feel crampy constantly it doesnt hurt and its gd to know ovaries are awake! Had some mood swings and hot flushes but thats it.
I take it at night to avoid as much as possible and I take epo to counteract the clomid drying me up lol

welcome 247

sorry AF got you April hopefully tarot reading was right... mine said id get mine once my hormones balanced so fx thats now

MissMrsMummy · 10/11/2014 18:23

Haha wantto planned is an understatement when it comes to ttc! Just thinking of all the crazy things we do. Wonder if your mum knows the lengths some of her patients are going to?!

SoapSudBub · 10/11/2014 18:34

Right ladies here are my stats!

Cycle 7, but 2nd taking soy. Usual cycle length about 32days with ovulation on day 19 (although I'm not sure I was ovulating every month) and I have PCOS. This month I got my +opk on CDs 13&14 so reckon ov happened on cd14.

This month I took seven seas trying for a baby everyday, Soy Isoflavones 200mg days 3-7 and added in 3000mg epo up until ov.

Symptoms were mainly extreme fatigue from about 4dpo, I would come home from work and fall asleep on the sofa (not like me at all)! I've also had breast tenderness, mainly down the sides and under my arms with the occasional shooting pain behind nipples. Also I didn't feel like having any wine- very unusual for meSmile and couldn't drink my morning coffee on Sunday or this morning, I usually love coffee but it tasted super bitter!

I had really bad af cramps on 6&7dpo with pink spotting (just on tissue) 7dpo and brown spotting with tiny clots 8dpo. I was sure af was arriving early, at this point I really felt like I was out!

Today I have had some nausea... But that could just be all the excitement!!

My FRER was completely negative on Saturday morning (9dpo) not a sniff of a line! But I got my BFP on a regular FR test this morning (11dpo) after a squinter on an IC last night (10dpo)!!

I think that's everything!Smile

StowFrenchy · 10/11/2014 18:42

Welcome 247 !! Join the POAS party on Friday!

Frolicacid · 10/11/2014 18:42

Wow! A hatrick!! Amazing! Congratulations want. So very pleased for you. What a great start to the week.

Nothing at all to report here. About 8dpo and no symptoms whatsoever! BORING!

Boosk · 10/11/2014 19:01

Thanks MissMrs so glad it's finally here. Just a few more days and I can join the crazy symptom spotting.

Thanks for the stats soap, I do love a good nose at what everyone did. Smile

247babyonthebrain · 10/11/2014 19:02

Thanks StowFrenchy i will join the poas party on Friday i think! Should be 14/15dpo then!

Only 'symptoms' are mild cramps for the past 3 days.

spinningirl10 · 10/11/2014 19:08

Thanks April, I hope it does return to normal.

Lots of positive opks today, have fun tonight ladies Wink

Cd2 so very boring here!

victoria401 · 10/11/2014 19:08

Hmmm April, my tarot reading said no kids with my current partner, and after 23 months ttc maybe she's right :-(

nutelladipper · 10/11/2014 19:45

Thanks missmrsmummy

angelaham · 10/11/2014 19:46

congratulation to all of the BFP today, certainly a great way to start the week xx

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 10/11/2014 19:58

Thanks all! My very unexciting stats:

Cycle 2, taking Pregnacare Conception (on and off, kept forgetting!) but no side effects other than neon yellow wee.

DTD 6, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15

Got my BFP this morning at 10dpo on a FRER - definite pink line. Then Clearblue confirmed 1-2 weeks.

No symptoms to speak other than weirdly have had a really good night's sleep the last 3 nights (normally wake up to do a wee), slightly tender boobs and some v slight cramping but no more than what I had last month when af arrived.

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 10/11/2014 19:58

Oh! Forgot to add I got my positive opk on CD 15 in afternoon, so assume I ov'd that night. Counted CD16 as 1DPO.
