So I decided to man up and poas. It wasn't fmu but I've only had a tiny bit of water so not very diluted wee on a frer on CD30, 15DPO. BFN. sigh.....

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/11/2014 09:29

Sorry for all the negatives and your temp drop Frolic Sad

What's happened to all the BFP

Nutella I tested with fmu again today and still bfn

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 18/11/2014 09:32

Kissing will you test again? I'm on cd34 & 13dpo

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 09:49

Sorry to those of you with bfns and af feelingsThanks

Nutella fx for youGrin

Genni, sorry for temp drop and that it doesn't look like you'll make the statistics. Pants to statistics, you'll get there soonThanks

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 09:51

Oh forgot to say, the acupuncture lady phoned yesterday. She's having difficulty fitting me in with a time to suit us both. She's going to try and move someone else to accommodate me, fx she can see me soon Grin

kissinggiraffe · 18/11/2014 09:58

beautician I will just wait for af now. I'm sure a frer would have picked something up at 1-2 days late if there was anything to detect!

I'm not sure if I should join December bus or not. If we ttc in Dec and it works, due date would be in the middle of a holiday we have booked and paid for next year so I think I need to give it a miss.

victoria401 · 18/11/2014 10:36

Oh dear its all a bit glum in here now isn't it :-(

Sorry for the bfn's this morning.

I know how you feel cariad. I feel like it maybe wasn't meant to be for us. Me and dh can't even imagine 'intervention' working either. No PMA in our household!

gennibugs · 18/11/2014 11:40

I feel the same cariad and victoria. Just a sense of doom.
Did you say you are starting iui soon victoria?

spinning - hope the acupuncture lady can fit you in ASAP. can't wait to hear about it! I think I'll be joining you over on December bus soon (though maybe just as a joyrider Grin)

Boooooo to the bfns.

victoria401 · 18/11/2014 12:31

Hi genni we have a clinic appointment next week where we will get a start date for treatment! I have mixed feelings about it to be honest. Its a depressing thought that its come to this, that we have been unable to reproduce normally. We will be having medicated iui which is basically a dumbed down version of ivf at the start. I'll need to inject to stimulate my follicles prior to insemination and have pesseries to maintain the lining in the 2ww. Each cycle has several 'personal examinations'. More people looking up my foof, getting used to it now! Had at least 5 strangers peering up there already this year! Plus I've got my smear next week!

So far just had the one smear of blood on Sunday. So not classing that as cd1, still waiting for that! This wierd thing has happened at least 4 times thus year giving me false hope that its implantation. Learnt from the 1st time that its not though. Can't even call it spotting because I class that as the icky brown stuff. This is always full on red, a single regular tampon worth, or even half a tampon. Then nothing for 2 days. Zero zilch. Af was due tomorrow so we'll see.

ohlordyplordy · 18/11/2014 12:41

Thank you everyone.
Thanks Sunbathing and teenie for popping over from the June an club. Hope everything is progressing well for you both x.
toots someone mentioned they had a friend who had honey and cinnamon on toast when ttc (can't remember who), so I had a bit of a google. Apparently quite a few people do this. In asia they use cinnamon for fertility issues. I just take breakfast to work in Tupperware so don't make toast daily,a nd couldn't face a spoon of cinnamon, so found some tablets in Holland and barrett. I took 2 a day, from af until ov (as I read cinnamon should be avoided during pregnancy). No idea if it helped, but I started taking it cycle 4, and got bfp both cycle 4 and 5.
Sorry for bfn kissing.
Sorry to see you go frolic fx for a Christmas bfp.
FX for you treacle, it sounds promising.

Treaclepie19 · 18/11/2014 12:45

Hi all, thanks for the good luck wishes :)

That's interesting about cinnamon ohlordy.

Cariad, I agree. I joined mumsnet this time last year after ttc but not really focusing on it. Now its a year and one miscarriage later :/

angelaham · 18/11/2014 13:50

My friend tried honey n cinnamon on toast and fell pregnant that month, might need to try it next if af turns up

gennibugs · 18/11/2014 14:10

I understand victoria. We have an appointment on Thursday with our fertility clinic to discuss starting the AC route in January and I honestly still cannot believe it has come to this and it probably won't happen naturally! I think it's natural to feel that way, from my stalking of the infertility boards I think it's something a lot have mixed feelings about. I hope your appointment gives you some reassurance and answers all your questions.

Cinnamon! That's a new one on me! I love cinnamon wonders if cinnabons and swirls count

xBlueberry88x · 18/11/2014 16:45

Wow mega depressing in here today ladies come on we need to try and stay positive!!

Being down about it just makes it so much harder.

Dont get me wrong I have some very low days but I dont want to waste my life being depressed, no matter what I am getting a baby even if I have to steal one lol

20 months down the line im trying to be as positive as possible.

Sorry for all the bfns!!

Jcandy · 18/11/2014 17:01

Well said Blueberry! Sorry for the bfn's everyone but it will happen! It's just harder for some but we will all get there. Just keep thinking how wonderful it will feel when we hold our baby in our arms! Smile Baby dust to us all!

MissMrsMummy · 18/11/2014 17:04

Hi ladies

Sorry everyone is feeling a bit glum :-(

I don't have AF yet (12 dpo) but I feel like it's coming.

Didn't poas this morning. Sorry for those who do and got bfn Thanks

Interested to try cinnamon- i love it!

MissMrsMummy · 18/11/2014 17:05

Nice positive vibes blueberry glad you are here to cheer everyone up! Wine

tootsroots · 18/11/2014 18:28

Bleugh cinnamon what we do in the name of dtd! (I hate cinnamon)Shock

However we do get to dtd lots and lots!

No update from me cd34 and v bloated and white stretchy cm and damp feeling - gross tmi!

Quite perky today cos if you look about there are some very strong and kind ladies on here- what's not to like about that hey- inspired by lots!

And what's more I reckon I could take biology GCSE and pass it given my knowledge increase since ttc Confused

tootsroots · 18/11/2014 18:33

Is any one avoiding parabens as they ttc as I read today that they simulate estrogen this impacting cycles?

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 19:49

Evening allGrin

Sorry some of you are down. I hope those of you heading down the assisted route get your bfp's very soon.

Cd10 here and not a hint of a line on an opk. Don't know what's going on, usually get my positive on cd10/11. Maybe cycle still screwed up from the soy. I have loads of cm though so I'm hoping that's a good signSmile

Off on holiday on Thursday so I think I might leave the opks and thermometer at home and just relax?! But will I regret it when I get home and don't know where I am in my cycle or whether I've ov'd......what would you all do?

MissMrsMummy · 18/11/2014 19:52

Hi spinning I would take it all with me because I like to know what's going on!

toots didn't know about parabens? Are they in make up or something? So do they get absorbed?

Pikz · 18/11/2014 20:12

Spinning I would take the opks and leave the temping so no alarms on holiday Grin

CoffeeOne · 18/11/2014 20:24

toots I've started avoiding parabens for me and DS. Especially in products we use daily. Saying that I never gave it a second thought when I last got pregnant. It's more of an overall lifestyle, organic products to go with organic food. Not exclusively of course, life is all about moderation. I'm taking it one step at a time scoffs pringles

CoffeeOne · 18/11/2014 20:25

spinning I would leave it all at home and go and have fun! Take a cycle off from the thinking!

spinningirl10 · 18/11/2014 20:33

Thanks ladies, I'm undecided, after 17 cycles I feel like a week off would be nice. We also travel with hand luggage only and I'm worried if they go through my bag and my stash of opks, thermometer and soft cups are pulled out for all to seeShock

I love cinnamon, I probably have it everyday, I add it to porridge and yoghurt and homemade granola. It also speeds up the metabolism apparently!
