I went to a Christmas Fair yesterday to cheer myself up after the disappointment of AF showing her face the other day. My last three periods have only lasted 2 days, whereas they've always lasted 4-6 days, should I be worried about that? Or could it be pregnacare conception that's interfering?
Anyone planned anything nice for today?

bovny ICs are not sensitive, something like 25miu whereas a frer is 10miu so that's why it shows early on a frer. So a BFN on a IC isn't necessaryily a bfn!

Still no AF thank goodness. Even if I don't get my bfp this cycle, I would be so grateful to make it though today without aF as then I would have a 10 day LP and that would make me jump for joy!

Just had the tiniest tiny smudge of pink on toilet tissue when wiping. Nothing else since. I'm 8dpo. Either something completely unrelated, a sign that spotting may start tomorrow (although my ovulation was back to normal and earlier than the previous two cycles so I'm hoping not or would be a stupidly short cycle as I'm only cd20) or possibly implantation?! Staying calm and not getting my hopes up though. There was barely anything there and probably just one of those things and me wishing it is related to ttc!!

Thanks for asking Victoria no AF yet and spotting has kind of gone... cm is almost clear now! No AF cramps. eeeeeeep. Will test again tomorrow morning!

Hope your AF stays away. I agree you have to tell yourself it wont happen then its a nice surprise if it does! I still get my hopes up though!

Try not to worry to lucie, easier said than done I know but day 8 is normal for implantation and it sounds tiny!

Iv no idea when I should test considering I don't know when I'd ovulate. I'm stressing myself thinking I've missed ovulation but what are the chances I ovulated before this week when I only stopped bleeding last Sunday? God this TTC lark is a total roller coaster of emotions.

So many BFP! Hope that bitch AF stays away for us all.

So, after my faint line this morning which was definitely there I've now just been to the lop and today I don't think it's just spotting, I'm pretty sure AF is going to be here in the next couple of hours. I guess I shouldn't have tested today after all. That's the first time I've ever had a second line so I don't really understand what my body is playing at.

Oh no bluesky so sorry... could it have been an evap line? Did it develop within the timeframe given in the leaflet? And was it pink or grey? If grey it could have been an evap.

Hold on tight, it could just be a bit of spotting and not full AF.

MissMrs it was a faint pink line and it was fully there by 8 minutes on a frer so I'm pretty sure that's in the time frame. I guess I will know by tomorrow but I have pretty strong cramps going on at the moment too. I've been on Soy this month and I did read somewhere that people seem to get CPs more on Soy than without.

FX lucie it's implantation! Do you normally spot at 8dpo?

bluesky I hope this is your bfp and any spotting is just that - just spotting!!

I'm in such a weird mood. feel really snappy and cross. For no reason. I just keeps snapping at poor DH (even just him breathing is annoying me!) and nearly screamed at my mum (who I never argue or get annoyed with!). I just feel so and then . I'm assuming it's just hormones or maybe the pressure of ttc is getting to me?

bluesky yes that does sound like a bfp and sorry you've been left feeling confused. Any more spotting? Or fresh blood? Really hope not. I have heard of people with bleeding/spotting and they have a successful pregnancy so don't worry yet

Genni, sorry you're down. This ttc is so tough when you've been trying for a while did you decide against acupuncture?
I had to cancel my first appointment which was this Tuesday due to work. I've left 2 messages for her but she still hasn't got back to me. I think I may have to try elsewhere.

The last two cycles I have had spotting around 10dpo but that is not normal for me and I ovulated much later than usual on those cycles because of I think taking large doses of epo and figured maybe my cycle is trying to balance itself out and therefore making the luteal phase shorter so AF still arrives around the same time.

This cycle I have stopped epo and ovulation was back to when it normally was and so am hoping my luteal will also be back to normal which is 13dpo and no spotting. The spotting I had today wasn't like the other 2 cycles as when that started there would be a fair amount there and would be there practically every other time on wiping almost like a very light flow but today there was just the teeniest bit and nothing more at all.

I guess I will probably know one way or another tomorrow if there is anymore spotting.

Sorry that you are feeling snappy, it probably is a combination of ttc and hormones, it's not easy

Miss Im repeating myself so apologies to all that have read this before. My BFP has never shown with all my previous pregnancies until 14dpo. So there's still hope.

Bluesky I really hope its a BFP. Obviously you will be on the lookout now for anything. Is this your first? I have had a friend that had a 'period' each month for the first 5 months of pregnancy albeit an extremely light one I've heard it a lot. Also spotting is very common at the start so hopefully you will get a stronger line tomorrow fx.

I will test tomorrow if af hasn't arrived. I'm incredibly crampy but tmi I have become quite constipated. I actually went for a wee earlier & got a little disheartened at seeing blood on the paper but again TMI I realised it was from my bottom

Beautician yep, I'm TTC #1 and it's my first ever second line on a test too. Hopefully it won't develop into full on AF but I'm trying not to raise my hopes up too much. I've got pretty strong cramping going on too, way worse then I ever normal get with AF. Wishing you lots of luck for your test tomorrow!

Genni sorry you're feel snappy. I get like that at different times of the month and I get so angry at myself for being snappy for no reason, which only serves to make me sad and even more snappy
