So SCD is on the telly. DH has had a bottle of Stella. They are dancing to Barry Manilow's 'Copacabana' . DH watches some woman- very hot looking, latin looking, size 4, in skimpy scarlet ruffled dress, legs up to her chin- strutting her stuff and says to me 'I could quite fancy this kind of dancing. Should we go to lessons. It would be good fun'.

Me, 34 weeks pregnant, bump like a giant water melon, clumsy at the best of times never mind now. DH, not in any sense of the word a dancer- more a dad dancer, although he thinks he is really cool.

I smiled and said ' I'd love it, DH'.

He is googling local lessons for next summer. . I do love him.

Oh my gosh I just had to check Ducky as Im not tracking I thought I'd be still quite early in my cycle like may CD 9 but I'm actually CD14! tbh it's gone fast! I'd be Oving right now that's gone pretty fast!

Two weeks today until my induction

Well I have all my resources for next month haha so far I've got, 10 IC hpt's and 20 IC ovulation tests. Conceive plus and special thermometer to temp :)
Just watch it happen this month now!!
And I know everyone's drifted away :( :(

But I can't wait for ur induction!! :) ill be so relieved and happy when he's here Ducky! Uve done amazin so far :)

Next weekend am doing a massive tidy of the house ready for his arrival. Moving his toys into the lounge and his Moses basket so the dogs can get used to it all!

Oo so exciting Ducky!! :D I did that. Luke a couple of days before my induction I literally blitz the house, bleached everything washed all DS's bedding and just got it all set out. It rele helped for when I came home with him. Thing that helped me the most was having his steriliser set up and had all his bottles sterilised and ready with the milk set out into little individual formula milk pots, 2 scoops in each. Made things a lot easier once I was back! Lol!

I have his steriliser set up but don't really know when to sort it, I've had a test run on it I have the pre made stuff for the first few days, when do you sterilise things? Would it be ok to do it the day before or the day I go in? Everything I've read online seems very strict as everyone keeps telling me they never followed the super strict rules

Also what do you do when your going out? Do you take bottles with you that are pre made?

I sterilised all my bottles and dummy's the night before I went for my induction. As long as u sterilise the bottle lids and put them on the bottles then it's fine :)
When u go out never ever pre make bottles because as soon as u mix that formula with the cooled down boiled water then it's only good for 2 hours! After 2 hours u HAVE to chuck the milk in the bottle away and wash and sterilise bottle.
U can buy little tomee tipee tubs for formula. I used to measure my formula out n put it in the tubs and take the bottles filled with water. So I i was going out and I know Ds would need 2 bottles of 4oz milk. I'd fill 2 bottles with cooled down boiled water to 4oz each and then measure 4 scoops of formula and put in a tub, and fill another run with the other 4 scoops. :)

I'm still here just been trying to not used mumsnet too much. Some of the discussions on here are annoying (not this thread mostly in the active threads).

Not feeling too great today, I've got a headache and had to wait around for ages in a queue for my pills. I had to leave the queue once as I was going to faint it was so hot in there. Probably what's caused my headache grr, atleasti have my pills now.

18 weeks today, I've got one more week then I'm on holiday. Not having my 20 week scan until 21 weeks but that's my next milestone.

Hello Sorry I have been so rubbish at keeping up with you guys no excuses just been really busy working six day weeks at the moment.

Have tried to read back but there was quite a lot to catch up on.

I'm on cd 12 so I think it's ov time will do an opk later. Dtd every other day so far. I was a bit fed up with ttc but dh gave me a pep talk and reminded me we just have to keep trying so that's what we shall do.

I am going to bed early. Is that normal; to want to go to bed early every night. I don't sleep but I just like being in bed by 9.

Ducky, not long now. I am bottle feeding too. Hate the thought of breast feeding.

I know! It appears to be a very taboo subject on mn! But I think it's a very personal choice you see these threads of people asking about ff and war breaks out!

21, im CD14 so our cycle is close! :) but I've been having a break this month it's made a huge difference! My cycle seems to be going by fast! I don't even know if I've O'd. I'm all prepared to TTC again next month tho :)

And Lulu its perfectly normal to want to go to bed early :) it's good to get lots of rest

Breast feeding or formula feeding.... My view on this is whatever suites the mother best is the best way :)

Yay cupcake we can be cycle buddies except my cycle is stupidly short. Negative opk today and yesterday so not sure if I missed it or its yet to come or what?

I read about you being in hospital cupcake sounded scary glad you are feeling better now and ready to go next month.

I agree with you ladies bf or ff is a personal choice and completely depends on you and baby. I bf and found it so easy and natural I was lucky and hope it is so easy next time.

21, yeah it was pretty scary but I'm all better now and actually feeling like myself for the 1st time in a while!! I hope u get that positive opk soon!
