Haha want! I could just imagine that scenario. Thought I was reading something from Bridget jones actually - it was exactly her kind of day too!

beaker, gosh, you're obvs a lot more cool at mummyhood than me - I was still wandering around in a daze when my dd was 7mo, let alone thinking about having another! Two of our friends have a small gap between their boys (both under 18 months between them) though and they're so close already, it did make me think we should've started trying a bit earlier.

MaMaPo · 14/10/2014 11:52

want I'm sorry it was a BFP but that was a funny story!

throw away your sticks, everyone. They're covered in wee.

beaker, I agree with broody. My DD wasn't sleeping through by 7mo and was still in our room (and would remains so until 12mo) so the idea of TTC would have been completely alien to me.

MaMaPo · 14/10/2014 11:52

Bollocks, want, I mean BFN. But obviously I have BFPs on the brain. Sorry about that.

beakerandburette · 14/10/2014 12:14

MaMa my DD is a dream baby I have been VERY lucky, she slept through as soon as we got home from the hospital. I am a little worried about how I will cope with being pg again though, I suffered from very bad ms, sciatica, high Bp and was absolutely knackered and the recovery after the birth was awful. I got the boak this morning emptying the nappy pail so I'm not looking forward to that whilst pg haha! I love being a mum and would happily go through it all another 20 times and have a house full of children.

And yes I am quite possibly mad. Grin

beakerandburette · 14/10/2014 12:16

broody and MaMa how old are your DC?

MaMaPo · 14/10/2014 12:20

DD is 22mo and a handful!

Oh bugger - brown cm just now. So I'll have a temp dip and AF will arrive tomorrow. Envy. At least my cycles mean I should get 2 goes in November.

ohlordyplordy · 14/10/2014 12:34

Ooh temp has risen this morning....dare I contemplate it staying high?
CHANTS triphasic, triphasic, triphasic.
Where have all of the BFPS gone? We must be due some soon!

Boosk · 14/10/2014 12:57

Oh dear want, sorry it was a bfn but thank you for the lunch time giggle.

Sorry af arrived Jessica good luck for November. Thanks

broodylicious · 14/10/2014 13:05

beaker, dd is 2.5yrs now. Crazy little lady, lots to say about everything, endless energy, very confident, headstrong, she tells us constantly "love mummy...love daddy....love all people!!", lots of kisses and cuddles for us. However, she is an appalling sleeper, always has been, still wakes four/five times a night. Drives me mad and I've been knackered for 2.5yrs but she would make such a wonderful big sister. One day, god willing, I'll be able to give her a sibling.

Treaclepie19 · 14/10/2014 13:15

Wow lordy that looks promising!!! :)

ohlordyplordy · 14/10/2014 13:34

Thanks treacle, I was a bit uncertain about my chart yesterday, but more optimistic now. Daren't get too excited yet though, still a long way to go.
Sorry for the bfn want, not out yet though. FX af not on the way mama.

Your chart looks brill ohlordy, mines all over the shop.

Katybear123 · 14/10/2014 13:38

hi ladies. Frolic and sunbathing thank you for your kind words.

cd 18 here, peaked 16 and 17. did manage to dtd last night so that makes it
cd10,12,15 (high on cbfm), 17 (peak on cbfm). am going for tonight, then skip a night then last time wed night as well - lets see if we can manage it - got this tip from the SMEP so thought would try. am a little gutted we didn't manage cd16 as well but hey we are where we are.

want to be - that is the funniest story I have heard in a long run!!

ladies who have had ur bfp's - quick q for you. on the SMEP it says not to go more than 10 days without dtd to keep the swimmers fresh. did you guys stick to this? we usually stop entirely after the ovulation push as are to tired but would love some advice

ohlordyplordy · 14/10/2014 13:44

katy I get up before dp in the mornings, so in tww he has my 'permission' to ahem, see to himself if he feels inclined. We probs dtd once or twice anyway.

xBlueberry88x · 14/10/2014 13:49

Katy we start just after AF and dtd most of the month.
Its quite often people stop dtd to early so definately worth carry on eod as long as you can just in case.

Am I the only one that misses DP during AF??

ohlordyplordy · 14/10/2014 14:09

Hahaha blueberry.

When I was on the pill I had zero libido but it's back now and we're making the most of it.

I think it's pretty important to try to dtd in tww so dtd doesn't just become about making a baby. It's easy to see why some dps can get stressed when they are just expected to petform during fertile week.

spinningirl10 · 14/10/2014 14:12

Blueberry, you mean you miss dtd during af? We do, I know we could dtd at that time but we don't. Dp is usually raring to go after af. We only have problems over the fertile time as he feels the pressure. We usually dtd 3/4 times a week. I'd like 4/5 times really but I have a higher sex drive, having said that its always good so can't complain Smile

MrsExtraOrdinary · 14/10/2014 14:15

Hi spinning I'm not really taking it easy. Its virtually impossible in this household. But my cleaner is in today so have been a lazy cow and just watched her cleaning while I pretend to be writing up important quotes on my laptop. Blush Cramps come and go but they are quite acute. Just had an argument with dh over my care. Although he had agreed if we were successful ttc, I could have an independent mw. He's now begrudging the money. Yet he spent £500 on a new sound system at the wkd and £500 on his bloody pond so I think I'm justifiably angry. He won't win he never does. He's just being a child and I won't stand for it at all. Angry Cause and effect is something my husband is lacking sadly. Wish he could see I'm absolutely terrified of ending up the way I did last time. I'm so terrified ive not yet been to my gp. I've not told anyone. Sad It should be such a happy time. And I just feel so anxious.

xBlueberry88x · 14/10/2014 14:23

Ohlordy haha We've always been quite active but after depo im definitely more into it lol

spinning Yes we miss dtd during AF as soon as shes buggered off we make the most of it lol

MrsE sorry to see your having such a stressful time, my dp is the same with money hes quite happy to spend it on tv's etc but when its something important he'll drag his feet.
Have you tried relaxing exercises etc to de-stress and hopefully help with the anxiety.

spinningirl10 · 14/10/2014 14:37

Ohlordy temp rise is good. Fx it stays up.

MrsE, sorry to hear you're still getting the pain Thanks and grrrr to your dh. I'm sure he'll come round but he should be fully supporting you after your previous experience.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 14/10/2014 14:52

He's come in grovelling, thank goodness. But if I see him near that pond today I may not be able to resist pushing him in! Grin Bloody men!

Been googling the mw I think I'm going to have she includes ante and post natal massage in the price.

Treaclepie19 · 14/10/2014 15:07

Glad he's realised he was out of order MrsE!

2 or 4 dpo today. 8 more days til af will be here my bfp :)
