Somesort, the cb digi showing 1-2 weeks is a good signGrin

Thanks English I'll give them a call and see if I can change it. I've just been reading about conception and the full moon as I think I ov'd when there was a full moon, fx that's a good sign Grin

broodylicious · 16/10/2014 12:11

Hey all. Happy Friday eve!

Well, I've not had a rant for a bit and I'm going mad so I apologise for this self indulgent post..... I'm 13dpo, very nauseous, headachey, gassy, spots (never ever get them, only time has been when I was pg with dd, all nine months and then some) and tmi my stools are looser than normal. All good symptoms.

Yet bfn.

I just hope AF hurries the chuff up and gets the inevitable over with.

ohlordyplordy · 16/10/2014 12:20

ooh forgot to congratulate tranquillity and biscuit.

Ok, so here are my stats:

34, ttc1, cycle 4.
Since coming off the pill I've had 28, 28, 26 day cycles.
We dtd LOTS this cycle: cd3, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18.
Supplements taken: folic acid+vit d, omega 3, manuka honey 16+, royal jelly, cinnamon, boots version of berocca, cranberry (to ward off UTIs). EPO from start of af to ov - ranging between 1000 - 3000mg/day. I've also been adding aldi manuka honey to herbal tea sometimes, and had the odd glass of pink grapefruit juice (I also eat regular grapefruit every day for breakfast anyway). I didn't bother with cough syrup this cycle.
DP took fake berocca daily.
I use ic opks and think they're fab.
I think that I ov'd cd 13, due to +ve opks on cd 12 and cd13, and temp rise. I didn't notice any ewcm this cycle (but I have previous cycles).
We used conceive plus (the pre-loaded applicators), but not every single time. We also used soft cups for the first time this cycle, and despite being scared and putting off using them last cycle, I think they are absolutely great - don't be scared of the size! Legs up in against the headboard and bum on pillow for a while post dtd too.

So the new things this cycle were the soft cups, manuka capsules and in tea, royal jelly, cinnamon.... and of course the mega rutting season!

Symptoms:
I noticed a tiny bit of blood when I removed the softcup on the morning of cd 14 - it may have been ov blood or that the softcup scratched me.
4dpo I had a mild stitch on and off left side lower pelvis.
5dpo felt bruised where the stitch had been and occaisional stitch again.
8dpo twinges where the stitch had been.
Nipples have been a bit sensitive, but they are now and then on other cycles.
The odd headache, but that isn't unusual for me.

I've got a squinter on an IC and a +ve on frer at 9dpo.

I phoned the surgery and was told I don't need to see the doc, they don't usually do pregnancy tests if you've already done a home one - they just gave me the midwives phone number and said to contact directly. Phoned and she said call back when 8 - 9 weeks. Is this normal?

Good luck ladies!!!!

ohlordyplordy · 16/10/2014 12:24

Good looking charts treacle, terrys and spinning, fx your temps stay up nice and high x

Good (well not exactly good but you know what I mean) symptoms broody, hopefully your bfp is around the corner - some people don't get +ve hpt until well after af x

Boosk · 16/10/2014 12:34

Great stats ohlordy that is some serious commitment to dtd, you both must be exhausted!

Sorry you are feeling so awful MrsE keep warm and hope it passes soon.

biscuit I have everything crossed for you that this one sticks and you get a nice strong line on the next test.

Boosk · 16/10/2014 12:37

Thank you Terrys for the sensible advice.

Sorry you're in limbo foxtrot

TerrysNo2 · 16/10/2014 12:51

ohlordy my Dh thought he was some kind of studmuffin performing 3 days in a row - yours is quite the hero now!! Grin

Yes, 8-9 weeks is normal for booking in, that's when they will take notes and bloods (IIRC) and book you in for your 12 week scan. I will never last that long though (if I can get my BFP one day!). I will be offered a routine scan early on anyway due to the ectopic but with both mine I had early scans around 7 weeks because I am impatient wanted to see a HB as soon as possible to get some reassurance. Think they cost around £80.

xBlueberry88x · 16/10/2014 13:19

Spinning day 21 bloods need to be 7 days before AF is due so work it out from ovulation I guess. A day either side doesnt matter (ive had mine after a weekend before).

Ohlordy Thats some dtd you did lol well done it worked!!

Broody ranting is always good sorry your having to wait

Mrse I understand why you dont want a scan yet and I cant believe how you were treated last time! We all just worry about you!!

Some Glad the digi has shown a result fx for you!

Lots of pokey pains in both signs of stomach today and dodgy tummy this morning hopefully its the clomid working!!

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 16/10/2014 13:29

Nearly knocked for six with sudden low cramps, certain af had started as was so wet and sort of trickling? (Tmi!!!!) but still - NOTHING! Who knows what my body is up to

angelaham · 16/10/2014 13:51

Question for you ladies that temp, I have a basal thermometer I bought from amazon and it says it's meant to beep when it's finished taking my temp, I can't get it to do that , I don't know if it's cause I take it out to early as it feel like I am
Going to gagg, how long roughly do you keep it in your mouth for?

ohlordyplordy · 16/10/2014 14:00

Yeah I think we've earned a rest boosk.
I'll be sure to tell dp his performance was heroic terrys. Glad ti hear 8-9 weeks is the norm. Hope you get your bfp soon.
Glad clomid looks to be working blueberry.
angela it feels like ahes until it beeps but in reality just about 1 minute. I place the tip under my tongue and it doesn't make me gag. Some people temp vaginally though, so that's an option.
Hugs want fx your bfp will be soon.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 16/10/2014 14:06

angela I temp vaginally, sometimes it takes 30 secs, others it feels like a lot longer. I suppose it depends on your temp.

TerrysNo2 · 16/10/2014 14:14

Angela I also temp with the thermometer under my tongue, that should help the gagging.

TerrysNo2 · 16/10/2014 14:15

oh and it can take about a minute

TheGrandHighWitch · 16/10/2014 14:33

One thermometer I had would beep at different times. It seemed to be based on how quickly it gauged my temperature. As soon as it stayed on one temp for longer than a few seconds it began to beep.

Katybear123 · 16/10/2014 14:36

congrats ohlordy and tranquilly that is lovely news

cd20 here, am shattered today but lots going on so could be that, have mild cramps in abs and water cm, wondering if am late ovulating even though cbfm confirmed peak as cd16 and 17 so will dtd tonight jic.

feel we have put in the hard work this month so am certainly hoping for a bfp

spinningirl10 · 16/10/2014 14:43

Blueberry, thanks, I just popped into docs to pick up referral letter and tried to change blood test but no luck. God I hate the receptionists! I'll phone tomorrow and see if I get to speak to someone else.
Fx the clomid is working for you.

Ohlordly, great stats, what a dtd-a-thon, you deserve a bfp after that effort. Big list of supplements as well.

Angela I think my thermometer beeps after a minute.

Wanttobe, fx for you next time you poas......but don't do it in Costa!Grin

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 16/10/2014 15:44

Ladies do you honk I should poas tomorrow (14dpo) or wait it out and if no af poas on Saturday (15dpo)? I am going to a party so need to know for sure re alcohol! I think if I am pg then most likely implantation is 10dpo due to change in cm (extra stretchy and white) no af or sign of it yet...

Sending sticky-bean, positive vibes to you some.

Congratulations lordy Flowers
Love seeing the pregoween bfp's role in.

So, after thinking I was out due to confusion over ovulation and temp dips, I spent all of last night manically moving all my stats over to FF. I'll attach my chart, but the main point is I think I'm still in the game! ignoring the BFN i just had on an IC

Hi ladies,

What a bumper bus of BFPs this is!! Congratulations to you all, it's so nice to come for a catch up and see so many pregnant ladies on the bus.

I have a quick question to those of you who have accupuncture. I've now had 3 sessions. My 3rd appointment was booked for when AF was coming to the end but it's never bloody arrived. Those months of ttc and AF showing up early and now she decides to piss off. Did anyone else's cycles alter when they started accupuncture? Today is cd 30, I've not seen that for well over a year. There's no chance of a BFP so just AWOL AF.

Joey0805 · 16/10/2014 17:30

I've never had acupuncture or reflexology, do any of you have experience with either of them helping when TTC and in what way?
