11dpo here and think I have some symptoms (sore bbs, hot, cm, full feeling in uterus, some dizziness and nausea, stabby pains last week) but not as much as last month when I had a CP. Really want to have a sticky bean but worried to test in case it is positive but then it goes again! Not sure if I'd rather just not know at all or whether it's good to know really. Gah! FX to all you ladies and sorry to those who got AF/bfn.

sparkle17 · 07/10/2014 21:05

Good luck with the clomid blueberry

MaGratgarlik1983 · 07/10/2014 21:07

Good luck with the clomid blueberry - FX for you!

broodylicious · 07/10/2014 21:10

Hugs blueberry, I'm so sorry for AF and for pressuring you to test. We were all rooting for you as we know you've had a shitty time. Thinking positively though, chick, clomid may well do it's magic for you Smile

I'm 4 dpo and felt slightly nauseous on a long drive back home from wilmslow today. Obvs a symptom Wink although joking aside, I was sick as a dog from literally two weeks after conceiving dd ??????

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 07/10/2014 21:10

Usually 14-16 days sunbathing so I think the earliest I should test is sensibly Friday but hoping to wait until early next week if AF hasn't showed - not sure I'll make it that far before I cave and test! Will try to wait until Friday at least!

Boosk · 07/10/2014 21:18

Bring on the Law of Sod! I'm CD 12 now, I think, should I bother starting on the B6 now or just wait until next cycle? Would it do anything at this stage do you think?

Sorry AF arrived Blueberry, all the best for next month Wine Thanks

MaGratgarlik1983 · 07/10/2014 21:18

And big congrats on your BFP sunbathing! Hope all's going well :)

Katybear123 · 07/10/2014 21:19

Hi all, cd11 here low on cbfm. Interesting I thought I would have moved to high by now based on slight cramping but last month was cd13 before Hugh and then peak at cd 17 so I guess it's ok.
V stressed at work I have a difficult job which can peak and drop a but with stress but it's a bad time right now and everybody is being awful. Gave me 2 sleepiness nights last wk, and shity weekend and then today was bad to. I do try not to let it get to me but it's nit v easy. This then makes me stress that this stress will reduce our chances of ttc. Does anyone else have the same and for u lurking ladies with ur bfp's tell me u had stress in ur lives and still managed it?

TheGrandHighWitch · 07/10/2014 21:25

So sorry for the BFN Blueberry. Pre dc1 I was the same. Af would be late, I would test get a BFN and then af would rear her ugly head after that (on one occasion after I had literally just poas! Angry). I just wanted to say though that I started on Clomid and got a BFP for my eldest after one cycle and a BFP with my youngest after 6 cycles so best of luck to you, it will happen I'm sure.

Katybear123 · 07/10/2014 21:41

Thanks sunbathing it does help to know it doesn't stop u getting a bfp.

To be fair based on what u said last month my cbfm did 100% the correct thing cd13-16 high, cd17 and 18 peak, cd19 high then low. Wasn't as stressed last month though, think I need a bit of a destress still time I think as still 2 more days before highs :-).

So far dtd cd10, plan to go 12,14,16,17,18,19 if at all possible. 14 is a fri and 16 a sun so hopefully they will b easier. Mon, tue and wed might b tougher but I'm praying dh will be up for it :-)

KittyVonCatsington · 07/10/2014 21:47

katy my lovely-I got the following from the wonderful lady who came up with SMEP:

Regular old worries about getting pregnant, and if you will ever have children, are perfectly normal and do NOT affect your fertility. Ignore those people who tell you just to relax and stop thinking about it. This is not their problem!

There are things that temporarily affect your fertility: losing your job, family deaths, and other things that make you physically ill or depressed.
This can delay your ovulation, or make you not ovulate in a cycle, since you will produce an excess amount of the stress byproduct called prolactin. It will not affect you for long, and the next month you should come back and be normal again.

Katybear123 · 07/10/2014 21:53

Kitty you and sunbathing are in fact the best people in all the world. Thank you for making a very crappy day just a little bit brighter. I even half smiled then:-)

Hope monday answers some of your questions Lucie - go in strong minded and don't take any bullshit!!

Really hope the clomid works for you blueberry.

Katy - as others have said, general day to day stress isn't going to affect your fertiltiy. If however you feel its getting to yo why don't you d as Sunbathing suggests and book a few days off. Or try acupuncture or reflexology to help calm you down?

I've just got in from acupuncture session number 2. I find it all so interesting. She did ask wether i feel my ovulation or not, when I replied no - she said good, apparently being able to feel it isn't necessarily a good thing. Also we shouldn't be having clotty af. I really feel that she is helping to balance me out. It's fascinating!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 07/10/2014 22:09

kitty - how you doing?! xx

Katybear123 · 07/10/2014 22:26

Thanks sunbathing ur very right and when put like that u r 100% right. Ok tomorrow is another day and I will not stress about being stressed anymore!! He he

Will give a go to the new game plan let's see how it works. Just read smep, interesting bit in there about not letting dh go more than 10 days without releasing, to help ensure swimmers r strong. Pleased we dtd yest when I was low as previously we had been 17 days without didn't bother after ovulation and then af. Not sure if it's true but was something new to me, is that new to anyone else?

Thanks English to, let's see how this month goes have some time off in nov and dec not sure if timed with ovulation but let's see.

Sorry AF got you Blueberry - hope Clomid brings you a long awaited BFP. My SIL has had 4 children on Clomid (including twins).

Enormous hugs Lucie - I shall be rooting for you on Monday.

I second English's suggestions re: acupuncture or reflexology to help combat stress Katy. I am a born worrier and have unsurprisingly found ttc very stressful, however before my last BFP I had one session of reflexology followed by weekly acupuncture which I found really helped decrease my stress levels. As Kitty wisely points out, I doubt stress alone is a particularly effective contraceptive, however if you're anything like I am, feeling less stressed will make you feel happier and more in control.

Terry - Sorry to hear about your ectopic. My return to work has so far been quite gentle. My tube had ruptured before I went to EPU so I had a laparoscopy and my right tube removed. I was advised by the registrar who visited me after my surgery that I should wait 2 to 3 cycles before trying again, however my discharge letter simply said that I should wait for my first period. My cycles are typically fairly short so I figure that it probably makes sense to wait 2 cycles (which I suspect will be just under 8 weeks) before trying again just to give my body a chance to heal. I'm reluctant to wait longer than that given that I know I'm less fertile than I was. My role on this bus is therefore very much as a cheerleader. How long did you wait before ttc again? Fx you get your BFP and a healthy bean soon.

ChandlersFarang · 07/10/2014 22:56

English - what's wrong with a clotty AF then? Interesting!! My natural one I'm just finishing was light as ever but lots of those blobby stringy bits (sorry, that's definitely TMI!!)... I was wondering whether to mention that to my doc. Maybe I will!

Blue - so sorry about your BFN/AF bastard combo!! But really loving the fact that you're starting your first Clomid cycle. Will you temp to check it makes you ovulate? Or are you being monitored by the doc?

Lucie - that test sounds shambolic to me, it does suggest that there were errors made at the clinic. My DH's first sample wasn't great as he managed to miss the pot with some of it (lolz) but the second went better. I'd go for a second opinion like others have suggested.

Katy - sorry to hear your work is stressing you out!! I think someone on here did a meditation cd or listened to some relaxation thing - that sounds pretty good to me. There's also something I like called Yoga Nidra, a recording you lay down and listen to where someone talks you through relaxing each part of your body in turn... Lovely stuff!! I have a feeling that being in Thailand makes me have a low level of stress all the time from not being in my body's natural environment, and I'm also quite homesick (although our pending return date and my trips back to London have helped massively with my mental state on that!! Smile) but I've still managed to ovulate and stuff there as I've seen it all on scans, so who knows.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 07/10/2014 23:11

She just suggested that it just means there's an imbalance of energy. Remember acupuncture is western medicine so it's looked at differently. But she does have a background in pharmaceuticals and eastern medicine too. She's all for 'beautiful periods' - no clots, no spotting.
We're working on improving my yin energy and nourishing my liver, which in turn should improve my cycles etc... And the help me get preggo!
It's a very different way of looking at it, but I know a lot of people are recommended to go while having ivf etc so there must be something in it.

frogbubbles · 07/10/2014 23:28

Phew... Found you again. This bus is moving exceptionally fast!!!! Well I am having a ttc meltdown here. All month FF has been telling me I will ovulate next week. I have my stash of CB sticks all ready, then today input temp and it's moved the goalposts, apparently I am 8DPO - which is fine as we DTD loads. But I've been taking epo and that's bad - right?????

Argh. This ttc malarkey is so confusing and now I'm anxious, and I don't feel PG I have a FRER stick shall I just pee and get the disappointment over and done with or wait.

I guess the good news is I will have another chance this month, unless ff changes it's mind again. Bloody hell next month I'm not temping I'm going to buy a CB monitor thingy

Dozygirl · 07/10/2014 23:39

Mmmm interesting convos going on tonight.

Clotty AF's?? I've always had clots since I started my periods but i hVe had a BFP in the past so I'm sure it's ok. It would be interesting to know what's wrong with having clots.

Re:the stress convo. Literally everybody is telling me to relax about ttc and forget about it because that is why I'm not getting a BFP. I'm not a generally stressed person but because this is something I so desperately want it has made me quite emotional at times but it's nice to hear that that shouldn't have an impact on fertility (I really hope so anyway) because I don't know how to relax and forget about it. I've heard lots of stories about ppl who try and try and don't conceive and then give up and that's when they get their BFP but I'm sure theres also lots of stories about ppl who have been worried and tried everything and it's worked so who knows which is right.

Boosk I think (although probably need to google this) that u can take b6 thru pregnancy because I wasn't going to start it till id got my BFP originally but now I'm just gonna take it anyway. So they should last u heehee.
