I have my ticket but sitting quietly as this month's not been the best for getting down and dirty so not much hope so I am here for the spare good luck and advice currently 10dpo and nada nothing did have 3 days spotting 1dpo Brown gunk vile I know af will be with me by Sat Sad

Boosk · 07/10/2014 17:59

secret sounds promising, you should probably poas now Wink

lucieloos · 07/10/2014 18:04

Thanks sunbathing I'm so glad you have stuck about on this board Smile I've mentioned to DH about getting retested again and he has said to wait and see what happens with my scan etc on Monday and then we will decide. I've found another clinic which also produce a report for you rather than just ringing and letting you know over the phone. I think if we get the same sort of result from 2 seperate clinics then obviously I will be able to accept it then and can think about the best way forward but otherwise I'm just going to have this massive doubt in my mind. I've already prepared the list of questions I want to ask on Monday.

Boosk · 07/10/2014 18:08

And thanks for the new thread spinning, I'll take my seat at the back and patiently (ha!) wait for ov next week.

Sorry you've had such a shitty day Lucie, as suggested by Sunbathing (I think) do make a list of all your concerns and questions for when you see the consultant. Thanks Thanks
Really sorry it's a bfn blueberry Sad hope AF arrives for you soon so you can get started on the clomid.

Don't leave yet sunbathing
I really hope you get a better understanding on monday lucie. I know it feels ages away atm.

Jackiebrambles · 07/10/2014 18:34

Arse, really sorry Bluberry. What test was it?
When I was pregnant I got a bfn on a boots test, a week later I got pregnant 2-3 weeks on a clear blue.

Foxtrot7459 · 07/10/2014 18:38

8dpo here I think - if I ovulated as CBFM didn't pick it up. No symptoms te report so just going to wait it out until the weekend. Fx

gennibugs · 07/10/2014 18:40

Oh sorry Blueberry. that's rubbish Sad still you never know. was it a frer?

lucie you should be able to get a printout from your consultant. We got print outs of everything, it's all stored in a file in case we need to go down the assisted conception route in January. Definitely have a chat and seek further tests if you need. its a horrible time. I remember last month when we were undergoing our tests I nearly fell apart. its so stressful.

teeniedeenie34 · 07/10/2014 18:42

Hi everyone

Sorry about your BFN Blueberry I have been popping on and off this thread today hoping to see some good news from you. FX your are lucky this next cycle with starting clomid, big hugs.

Lucie sounds like you've had quite a day of it, sorry to hear about your results. The clinic you are using don't sound very thorough or sympathetic to the people they are testing. It seems you are prepared for Monday though so FX that goes well.

CD15 here for me. Still only squinters on my OPKs but I never got my positive until CD17 last month so hopefully ovulation is just be around the corner. I am having loads of EWCM the past few days though, my underwear has been wet for a few days... Is it normal to get this much before a positive ov test?

Frolicacid · 07/10/2014 18:56

Sorry to those getting bfn's and visits from af.

lucie, I'm so sorry you have had such a crap day. I second everyone's advice about making a list for of things to discuss with the consultant Monday. You are paying for this service and it should't feel so shoddy. I also advise you to have some wine, chocolate and a bubble bath tonight. Flowers

4 or 5 days post ovulation for me. No exciting symptoms. My temperature has gone up again and I spent all last night reading about dips and causes. No obvious answers, but I feel more hopeful.

To those asking on the last thread about epo (can't remember names, sorry) - it defo made a difference to my ewcm this month. I took 1000mg days 1-5 and 3000mg 5 to ovulation.

lucieloos · 07/10/2014 19:19

Thanks Frolic, Teenie and Genni, can't believe how supportive everyone on here has been. You are all brilliant! So action plan is...hope that my scan is all clear on Monday, order progesterone and LH blood tests, ask consultant lots of questions, try and persuade DH to have a retest, up EPO to 3000mg before ov and take 100mg of B6 everyday. I really hope we get to have a baby someday Confused

Pikz · 07/10/2014 19:38

Lucie ask what it really means to, they are often quick to say well you need Ivf. Big hugs.

Blueberry and all those AF and BFN have got

Gastric bug, very sore boobs and lots of pinching feelings. I think I am getting my hopes up a little at 5/6dpo

Boosk · 07/10/2014 19:48

Ladies, I accidentally just bought 270 B6 tablets!! They were on 3 for 2 in Tesco and I thought they were bottles of 30. Just got home and realised there are 90 per pot! Eeep!!

spinningirl10 · 07/10/2014 19:50

Lucie, I think taking a list of questions is a very good idea and by the time Monday comes round I'm sure you'll have thought of some more.

Blueberry, don't feel bad for getting your hopes up. We've all been there, I have managed to convince myself I'm pregnant before now even with numerous bfn's. Hugs to you and here's to the clomid Wine

spinningirl10 · 07/10/2014 19:51

Haha Boosk, they'll keep you going for a while and it's Sod's law you'll get your bfp nowGrin

OP posts:
Frolicacid · 07/10/2014 20:19

That's one way to invoke Sod's law boosk! I'm wandering about buying soy now in the hope that I never need them Grin

I'm trying to cut down on caffeine. Tonight's drink is redbush tea with manuka honey am and lemon. It's surprisingly tasty. wish it was wine though

I've decided that the first part of the 2ww is way too long and boring. I need some symptoms to spot!

MrsGingerbread · 07/10/2014 20:34

Right, epo can be my new thing for this month. I am running out of things to try!

Ridiculous question - do I have to take it in the evening? Or is that just the name of it?

With pregnacare, extra folic, 2x b6 and then epo I will rattle. I hope I'm not overdoing it, dr was fine with it all when I checked with him, sure epo can't hurt. He was very skeptical about the b6 though.

You don't take it past ovulation, is that right?

xBlueberry88x · 07/10/2014 20:36

Well as always the day i cave af arrives a while later.

That kicks me off the bus ladies and first day of clomid starts tomorrow.

Good luck everyone and thanks for being so lovely almost made me cry! !

TheProofIsInThePudding · 07/10/2014 20:40

Frolic I agree! Cycle 1 seems to be going so slowly. I hope in future that I'll be a bit more chilled out, as I'll have gone through it once and know what to expect.

I know it's very easy for me to say this at the stage I am at, but for the ladies who are struggling (blueberry, lucie) it doesn't matter how you have your child - clomid, IVF, adoption - they will still be your child and you will love them just as much.

Frolicacid · 07/10/2014 20:45

Oh no blueberry. I suppose it's good that you can start the clomid now and feel like you are doing something. Flowers

I think that's right gingerbread. I read somewhere about stopping epo at ovulation as it causes uterine cramps that could be linked to miscarriage. I'm no expert though. Hopefully one will come along soon.
I've taken epo for sore boobs before af every day of every month for about 10 years. Last month I stopped at ovulation and my boons didn't hurt and AF was loads less crampy.

spinningirl10 · 07/10/2014 20:48

Ah sorry af has arrived Blueberry, good luck with the clomidThanks

I take epo in the evening but that's because I keep it by my bed along with folic acid and soy.
