AF has arrived. I thought I felt some cramping this morning. I knew it, I was right then. Not pregnant OK, the only bright side is I've started 2 days early so I've gone down to a 30 day cycle. Crap I'm going to have to order more stupid sticks. This is such an expensive hobby

Just to top it off I've just worked out that my next chance is a potential Halloween baby. Not even funny ??

Oh no pear that is rubbish. But shorter cycle means less time to wait for next go. You definitely deserve chocolate on first day of AF. And maybe wine as well. I just can't bring myself to check CM at work! Halloween baby would be cute - think of the outfits!!

Austra that indeed sucks and I imagine your hormones are going crazy cutting down on feeds that quickly. I start crying just simply thinking about cutting out a feed let alone actually doing it! Hoping things happen fast for you now...

Austra ~ just so you know...I'm not laughing at you, just at the tone of your anger that I totally get! After reading my post it comes across wrong, sorry!

Hide ~ yeah I can only take some sort of happiness in knowing I've got two days less to wait. I hate Halloween though so hopefully it wouldn't arrive on time like DS

I tell you what ladies. All those twinges, cramps and reflux symptoms that put my hopes up this month...I'm totally ignoring them next month! I'm also going to cut down on sugar after I have cream tea today

I'm experiencing the worst AF cramps ever So bad that I can't sleep and I don't want to take any medication just incase its implantation bleeding which is ridiculous Things haven't properly kicked off yet which is what is giving me the doubt. I have never understood how others could doubt whether they're having AF or not but now I totally get it

Pear sorry to hear you don't feel great! Perhaps have some paracetamol? You can take that when pregnant anyway!
I have some VERY EXCITING BIG NEWS! (no, not that sadly).

I just got AF!!!!!!!!!!!! My first since March 2012! It works! Hurrah. So now on CD 1 and TTC can start in earnest. I have never in my life been happy to see AF and yes it means I am not pregnant but I am so pleased that it means things are working in there. Am hoping I don't get the crippling cramps and vomiting that I used to usually get - not least because I am just setting off on a train journey from Scotland to London (great timing huh?!) - but hurrah and here is hoping for a BFP in about 30 days time!!

Hide ~ better now thanks. The pain lasted 2 days. So unusual for me! Don't know why AF has just upped a gear...odd!

The novelty of AF has already worn off, however CD 2 and I am keeping everything crossed that I go straight into a regular cycle WITH ovulation. I know it can take a few months to settle down but I have waited so long already I don't think I can wait any more!!

I guess this means that when I had that almost-positive OPK it probably was me trying to ovulate and it means that Pear and I are in synch! So we can be 2WW buddies in about 2 weeks time (all being well).

So far I haven't had the awful period pain that I used to get pre-DD. Hopefully that has gone for good although you never know, this first AF might just be a bit of a weird one!

Glad you're feeling better Pear. I can definitely sympathise with the cramps. Horrid!!!

How is everyone else doing today? Hide do you think you ovulated?

Well frazzled, I hope then that that line I got which was similar to yours, was indeed similar to yours!

Hah hah frazzled! Can you see my elbows sticking out? Don't you start thinking that you will get a BFP first my 2ww buddy!! Seriously quite excited to have a 2ww buddy

Frazzled I had loads of ewcm yesterday but
Negative ov sticks so who knows!! I suspect I didn't ovulate last cycle.
Am on 2ww now but with no buddy! Hope your cycles go back to normal. How long were they before?

Austral not sure you do want the line that I had because I didn't ACTUALLY ovulate so who knows what it meant. However, I do think it means that your body is trying to get back into a cycle!!

Hide well if there is EWCM I would go for it! You never know! When I was TTC DD I never got a positive OPK but I did get a BFP so always worth a try!

Really hoping that my cycle settles down immediately (ha!). My cycles used to be quite long - around 32/33 days which was a bit annoying to be honest, but I will take any kind of vaguely regular cycle at the moment - so long as I have a decent luteal phase and can get a BFP!!!

Frazzled ~ I went out on a lovely and very long over due date night with DH and enjoyed a large glass of vino

I enjoyed a glass of wine last night as well and it was even more delicious for abstaining for so long!

Had some more ewcm this morning but it seemed a bit thicker so wonder if this is a different cm that comes after. Best consult the chart! Ick

Ooh I have been offering DS a cup of warm cows milk this week but he just spits it out and looks at me with disgust. Is this normal for BF babies? Am concerned I have missed the window of introducing cows milk!

Just popped by to see if Madrigals has had her baby? But can't see her here. I will try and read the thread and catch up properly tomorrow or the weekend.

Weebairn baby no 2 is nearly 4 months old now and is a dream baby really. I am really happy to be bf again. Loving being a mum of two, though also exhausted and stressed at times. DD1 is 2 years 4 months and hasn't bf since May but the other day looked at a toy bottle blankly and then shoved the doll up her top instead, which made me so proud ha ha. Seems like a long time ago this thread helped me to conceive whilst bf! I wish you all the best of luck and the best 2015 xxxx

There's a window?! Surely you just plonk a glass of milk in front of them every day for the next fifteen years, and make them drink it? Speaking of white things, if I have CM the consistency of EW, but tinged white rather than fully see-through, does it count? Might I actually be heading to ovulation?
