Thanks for your reply Spinningirl- coil was removed in April and AFs had been pretty normal since so something weird is definitely going on.

Congrats Sarah. Don't be too hard on yourself and enjoy the honeymoon phase- juggling multiple major life events is not easy!

MrsE, what brilliant friends! Friends who assemble your flat-pack furniture are worth hanging on to! Have fun settling into the new place Smile

Jcandy · 28/09/2014 10:13

Thanks sparkle everyone's craziness really helps! I don't post often on here but I catch up with you guys every day. It's great to know you have people who are going through exactly the same crazy emotions as you!

lindamagoo · 28/09/2014 10:18

MrsE the 25 weeks has went very quick, I just hope the rest does too, for my family's sake before I kill them all Grin How are you? So glad to hear you've finally got your house move over with Smile

Morning ladies. Exciting news in here mrs e so glad u r in, it's so nice waking up in ur new house.

Cuppasarah congrats I loved my wedding day, hope u get to chill now.

Sunbathing gd luck with testing I hope it's a bfp for u

Cd2 here so nothing interesting to report at all, trying to figure out travel plans to avoid being away at critical times in month have a job that needs some travel not loads and have to bk 2 wks before I go so it's a bit of a juggling act with cycles but planning on booking the day I get my peak meaning I won't b away for any vital stages though based on last cycle af or my bfp might happen whilst away but I can always wait to test.
Gosh ttc is a mind field isn't it all these things to consider!

teeniedeenie34 · 28/09/2014 12:12

Hi everyone!

Just reading back and checking-in to see how you're all doing...

Hope everyone who was having a wee tipple last night enjoyed and not too many sore heads this morning! Grin

Big congrats Sarah and MrsE!Smile

Hi sunbathing got my FX for you and hoping that witch stays away.

Not much happening for me this past week, I am CD6, AF has been and gone lasting only three days this cycle. Is this a bit short? I'd usually be 4-5 days. Also my luteal phase this month was only 11 days, is that long enough? Or is that also a bit short? Trying not to worry and hoping my body is just getting into its rhythm after b/c.

Blueskygirl30 · 28/09/2014 12:14

Good afternoon ladies! I hope you're all having a lovely weekend! It's taken a few days for me to find this thread!!

I was chucked off the September bus a few days ago after AF was 9 days late, the mean old witch!! So now I'm hoping on board this bus. These are my stats..... Blueskygirl30 Age30 TTC#1 cycle 5 BFP due 21 October

I need a BFP this month, mainly because I've just decided that if I get my BFP I will dress my tummy up as a pumpkin on Halloween as my way of telling DH, and it would be really mean to deny me of the opportunity to tell DH in that way!

ChandlersFarang · 28/09/2014 12:27

Hi ladies! Just popping my head in from a wifi'd up bus between Tallinn and Riga. Loving my holiday!! And being reunited with our best mates is so good for the soul! Enjoying a crisp European autumn and seeing all the beautiful colours has been ace. The Baltics are literally the opposite of Bangkok, lol! Has taken my mind off TTC for sure and me and DH being in our 'natural environment' feels amazing. I do wonder sometimes if living in alien Thailand causes stress to my body that isn't helping with my TTC battles!! Am hoping my PCOS-riddled ovaries make an egg whilst we're here... Thanks for all your nice comments and wishes on that last week by the way SmileSmile Started drinking raspberry leaf tea this weekend too which my buddy brought over here for me from London, which I hope helps thicken my lining.

Great to hear you're all moved in MrsE, and had so much help! And congrats on the wedding Sarah.

Hi newbies and good luck everyone - the October bus is revving up it's engine to set off tomorrow!! GrinGrin

ChandlersFarang · 28/09/2014 12:27

Bluesky that's an amazing idea!! Ha ha

teeniedeenie34 · 28/09/2014 12:28

Hi bluesky sorry to hear AF got you... Just lol'd at your pumpkin idea though, what a fab way to tell DH! Smile

teeniedeenie34 · 28/09/2014 12:40

Thanks sunbathing I'm relieved to hear other ladies cycles are similar. I guess there is no 'normal' and I'm just at the start of cycle 3 so my body is probably still adjusting... Went out and bought this months stock of OPKs yesterday as I felt much more in control using them last cycle. Have also decided to try smep this month and see how we get on. Trying to keep positive... another cycle, another chance! Smile

broodylicious · 28/09/2014 14:17

Wow chandlers, what a fab holiday!! You lucky thing Smile I didn't know you lived in Thailand!! So envious. One of our fave places we've ever been xx

MrsBeeBeeBee · 28/09/2014 15:31

Just popping in to wish you all the best on the October bus and hope for lots and lots of BFPs xx

Joey0805 · 28/09/2014 16:38

So I think I ovulated Friday or yest morning (due to a strong line on my ovulation test but a teeny bit lighter than the control line then 2 subsequent tests have been with the line getting lighter) which is 9 days later than I thought it would be so new stats are:
32, TTC#1, cycle 1, test 10th October

EnglishGirlsReturned · 28/09/2014 19:11

Evening ladies Smile

Glad you're all move in now MrsE!! Sounds like you've got some great friends and family around you!
Congratulations Cuppa Smile

Sorry to those of you who've moved over from the september bus Sad

I've had a lovely weekend away at a hen do, drinking too much, laughing loads and dancing like a loon. Feeling very tired and lazy now. Currently 7dpo (possibly 9). Going to wait til next sunday unless AF arrives before hand.

Starting my get fit plan tomorrow Shock. I've put on so much weight since moving back from Amsterdam. Diet overhaul!! So enjoying some naughty stuff today.

Going back to the temping subject - I personally love it, knowing wether I have ovulated or not. There is a website where you can enter your temp if you wake early or late and it automatically adjusts it. Not sure how accurate it is, but useful if you need it. Google BBT adjuster.

broodylicious · 28/09/2014 19:49

Hey english Smile Glad you had a great weekend away. Always good to let our hair down and have a giggle every now and then. Could do with something like that!

Opk question for you ladies. On cd 12. Poas cd 10 - faint line but defo there. Cd 11 - stronger line but still not as bold as the control line. Today - line but looks fainter than cd10! Wtf?!?!

I did have a couple of drinks before poas but I'm sure I now remember seeing somewhere that you shouldn't have too full a bladder as it dilutes the hormone? What do you ladies think? Do you think I may already have ovd super early or that I've messed up by drinking too much before poas? Or that I'm being totally ridiculous and just need to be patient and continue testing until I get a stronger line?

CuppaSarah · 28/09/2014 19:54

Thanks for the congrats everyone! I promise to come back and read everything properly once we're back from our alton towers honeymoon. Just had some cramping, so might not have missed ov after all. Fingers crossed for us all this month.

glad you're all moved in MrsE!

Dozygirl · 28/09/2014 20:15

Broody This is the first month for me of using opks and I started testing from cd 10. The lines were varying degrees of faintness so I was thinking the same as you that I might have missed my positive ovulation. Some were stronger lines than others but never stronger than the control line. Anyway I carried on testing until cd 17 and then I got a definite positive. Got another strong positive on cd18 then back to negative on cd 19. So id carry on testing if I were u but still DTD as often as u can just in case. I also wasn't very good at doing it at the same time every day and leaving it four hours after having a drink as adviced. Hope u get your positive soon

I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this month but I can't help it. Been feeling queasy today (definitely not caused by the wine I drank last night haha) and have lots of saliva today. I'm sure I'm just imagining it all but hey ho. A girl can dream!!

MissMrsMummy · 28/09/2014 20:31

Hey everyone

Just popping in to say hi to my old friends on here and to the newcomers!

Hope everyone is well. I am still having a break from TTC due to new job but will be back in the new year!

I will read back and see what's been going on.

xx

ChandlersFarang · 28/09/2014 20:39

Thanks broody!! Grin this hol is pretty cool actually, we are doing the three baltic capitals in 6 days, lol. Where did you go in Thailand? Xx

Treaclepie19 · 28/09/2014 20:41

Hi missmrs!

Thanks girls. I will keep on with the testing and dtd eod as we have been doing. I had cm today so was temporarily excited until the line on the opk was faint!! This is why all this effort is not good for me - too much thinking, planning and things to get obsessive with/stressed aboutConfused

chandlers we went to Bangkok and then krabi. Amazing places. Bangkok is just off the scale crazy, krabi beautiful. Fantastic people and such cheap living out there too, we just loved every minute. We love all of Malaysia and Indonesia for the same reason. We always come back to the uk and are so disappointed with crap service and sky high prices Wink Hope you and dh have a good rest of your trip x
