I started reading it on the way to work this morning Spinning, nearly missed my stop I was so engrossed!

I am doing my best to be relaxed and tranquil in the hope it will help the egg stick around when it drops but work is proving stressful.

Also slightly concerned about lack of EWCM, have had plenty of fluids and grapefruit juice but nothing! Made the mistake of googling EWCM - urgh. On the plus side it appears plenty of women have conceived without it.

spinningirl10 · 25/09/2014 16:18

Envious, all sounding good for you, fxGrin

April, haha the books good then?

MrsE, oh no!!! Hope it's all sorted now otherwise you'll have finished the bottle by now!

Thepurplegiraffe · 25/09/2014 16:32

ohlordy not this month. I had a mc a couple of weeks ago so am in what is commonly known as the wtf cycle so I have no idea when I might ovulate, if I even do. Next month I will prob do some stuff but not sure what yet.

xBlueberry88x · 25/09/2014 19:18

Had my second gynae app today.

Turns out that even though im getting positive opks my LH was pretty low or as they say equivocal.

So he gave me two options either i wait another month and try and loose more weight or take clomid.

I said to him i couldn't stand waiting so ive got 6 months worth of clomid to take from days 2 to 6. I will get a scan 13 days after to see what my eggs are doing and see if the dose it enough.

Pretty sad to be honest and me and dp have been arguing loads last few days the stress has finally got to him and im pretty depressed to be honest.

Sorry for the me post hope everyone is ok

Oh Blueberry, I'm sorry to hear your news, I think clomid was the best choice and as sunbathing said lots of women conceive with clomid. The scan sounds good and you'll get to see what's happening and if it's working which can only be a good thing. It must be a hard time for you both, I hope you can make up and get some support from each other. We're always here to listen, sending big hugs to youThanks

EnglishGirlsReturned · 25/09/2014 19:35

Oh blueberry, I'm sorry it's come to that. But knowledge is definitely power. At least you have a plan of action now and can take comfort it the knowledge that you are now doing something positive- albeit not the way you envisaged. A friend of mine has recently been told the same thing. I hope you and dp sort things out soon. Maybe get a bottle of wine and a takeaway in and indulge. Big hugs hun, this is just another step closer to your goal. Thanks

gennibugs · 25/09/2014 19:42

blueberry massive hugs to you. I'm so sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear. I think you have absolutely done the right thing in trying clomid. I'm glad you have a scan too. It's such a horrid horrid feeling when you get bad news. its a big strain so you and DH need to be kind to yourselves. Can you have some couple time this weekend - even just a walk in the park, a dvd with a nice takeaway or the cinema?

gennibugs · 25/09/2014 19:44

april I've got the book too. I wfh today so didn't have my commute to read it on but can't wait to jump into bed and start reading. me and my sister were so excited!!!

MrsGingerbread · 25/09/2014 19:49

Sorry blueberry I hope that the clomid works is magic for you. As everyone is saying, knowledge is good, even though it is hard.

Mixed day for me. My biopsy showed that the mole I had removed was cancerous. He said I did very well to catch it so early, but I need to have another operation next Thursday to take a piece of flesh away to make sure that they have got it all.

Check your moles out ladies, I'm really pleased I did.

MrsG really glad you noticed it early. I've had a couple of relatives be in a similar situation. Catching it early on is definitely the key. They've had no recurrence. Phone call they did leave

Well yes of course I did neck half a bottle of plonk this afternoon but got the call and went to collect the keys. We drove up to the house and dh was fairly astounded someone had blocked our driveway. Just as we were trying to find somewhere else to park I noticed the front door was open. 2 people I didn't recognise were inside the house. We weren't sure what to make of it. So it sort of scuppered the excitement. As it transpired the sellers solicitor hadn't informed them the money had gone through. So they left their parents behind. After about 20 minutes and several phone calls they did leave but I was wondering whether they were going to become a permanent fixture?!

Decorator is in tomorrow. More packing, then carpet on Saturday and the rest of the team will swan in to our aid.

Think we will just have to write off this month ttc. we did manage a couple of times dtd but certainly not enough to make an impact on an egg. But we did manage the day we missed out last month. So I tiny hope but not an expectation. Been awake since 4am choking. Not sure whether to get up or not.

spinningirl10 · 26/09/2014 06:50

Morning Grin

Treacle, sorry it looks as though af if on her way for you Thanks

MrsE, yay for finally getting the keys!
All go now then.Is there much decorating to be done?

8dpo here, my bug is still lingering on. Had to rush to the loo when i woke up(sorry tmi) and I still feel really sick. My student is off to London for the weekend and ds is at his dads so quiet weekend for me I think.

Treaclepie19 · 26/09/2014 06:54
