Oooo I hope that too, but I think my chances may be scuppered this month. Dh is ill with a chest infection. I think dtd would have been a good idea tonight, but I just couldn't be bothered to make all the effort yet again. Dh was insensitive and I took it all personally and now he's buggered off downstairs. I just feel relieved tbh. I'm the worst nurse possible where men are concerned. Not at all tolerant or patient. I had to survive pneumonia pregnant with 3 children as a single mum with no help why can't he just take the medicine instead of me having to mother him every 5 minutes! ShockShockShock Sorry rant over......and breathe!!! Wink

That's interesting ladies, they couldn't find my right ovary on a scan either.
My left was fine as far as I know.

Sorry DH is being a little hard to live with MrsE, i know exactly where youre coming from.

Morning Grin

Purple, I'm very sorry to hear of your mc, hoping you get a sticky bfp soon Thanks

Ooh now I'm wondering which of my ovaries has the best eggs! My dp always has something wrong with him (nothing serious) I just ignore himGrin
MrsE, I hope you've made up with dh and dtd.

Cd10 here, waiting for the smiley face! Dp has been really up for dtd, I just hope it continuesWink

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/09/2014 07:25

Not yet spinning, but he's home all day so I expect we will. Upside I got the bed to myself, downside I've accidentally spilt the cup of wee on my legs while testing for ov! Blush

spinningirl10 · 16/09/2014 07:34

Oops! I've done that beforeSmile
Fx for you today.

Pikz · 16/09/2014 09:06

Get cycling MrsE

Jackiebrambles · 16/09/2014 10:11

Morning ladies, can I please hop on??

AF arrived this morning. Feeling a bit sad to be honest but trying to stay positive and think ahead to what we might try this month!

I think because I got pregnant so quickly last time (literally as soon as I came off the pill) I was expecting it to happen quickly and that it hasn’t is worrying me. All my NCT friends are falling pregnant with their seconds super quickly/easily which I also find worrying. Can't help thinking its my age that's the problem, I'll be 38 soon and my DH will be 39.

Here are my stats:
JackieBrambles, 37, TTC #2, cycle 4, bfp due 14th October.

secretreveleater · 16/09/2014 10:22

jackie unfortunately one easy conception doesn't guarantee another. I had 2 easy and then a difficult 3rd. It was all so worrying and frustrating but totally worth it. Hopefully you won't be kept waiting much longer. Fx for you

Speaking of my hard slog ttc #3 I am currently undergoing tests to find out if I have coeliac disease. My Dr seems quite certain that I do and my symptoms started a while before we started ttc #3. I've been doing some research and have found that coeliac disease can cause fertility issues so I'm really hoping that I get diagnosed then get it under control then will be able to conceive easily again. Here's hoping Smile

CurlyJay19 · 16/09/2014 10:31

Hiya ladies, curious topic today about the ovaries. I seem to have really bad OV pains when I ovulate from my right too. Actually I am on CD7 today and last night I had slight shooting pains in my right ovary, and this morning I had a little EWCM. Could I ovulate so early on in the cycle? I am not due to OPK on my clearblue monitor as from Thursday Confused.

I've stopped the majority of my supplements this cycle. I think after 5 months of pill popping I need a break. I upped my B6 to 50mg last cycle and this caused me to OV really late and had lots of pg symptoms, especially my breasts...boo! Though I'm still on my DHEA, co-Enzyme, fish oil, and pregnacare Smile

Aprilray · 16/09/2014 10:35

Lucie do you know what cycle day you will be on 6 October? The place I went to said it was best to go between CD5 and CD14 to get the most accurate results. Oh, and snap re the relaxation CD. I have the same one and have done it twice so far, I find it very relaxing.

Sunbathing that is really interesting re ovary size, I had no idea. Makes sense though, my bigger one had fewer follicules than the smaller one but two were enlarged – fx they both release eggs next week, if I got a BFP and it turned out to be twins I would be the happiest person on the planet.

Welcome Purplegiraffe so sorry to hear about your loss Thanks

Theproofisinthepudding they’re not so bad, I always tell them I’m a bit of a fainter and then chat away while they are doing it to take my mind off it and it is over before you know it. Then I treat myself to a big chocolate bar Smile

CD8 here, DTD last night just for practice Smile DH is away at the weekend so will DTD before he goes and when he gets back just in case then going to wait for a positive OPK and do the egg meets sperm plan.

lucieloos · 16/09/2014 10:46

April it will be just before my period is due so around cd24 which is why I was a little worried! Maybe i should see if I can put in back a week? I found the cd really relaxing too, it's not that long but it was pretty good and helped visualise things. I will try and do it a few times a week I think as I need more relaxation. Good luck with sperm meets egg plan.

spinningirl10 · 16/09/2014 11:29

Jackie, welcome and good luck.

I'm out until late afternoon so grabbed an ic opk before I left home, just peed on said stick in public loos, not an easy thing to doGrin line is darker then yesterday so ov must be approaching, shall try a cb smiley later.

CoffeeOne · 16/09/2014 12:03

CD6 here and ready to get cracking. Although the last couple of months I've ovulated on day 21-22 I'm determined to get pregnant this month so not taking any chances haha.

We had a rubbish month last month all round so hoping for a nice calm month and plenty of time to dtd!

Aprilray · 16/09/2014 12:40

Lucie the website of the place I went to doesn't say anything about when the scan should be carried out but when I booked it they said between CD5-14 gives more accurate results, it may be worth checking with your clinic and seeing what they say. Maybe it doesn't actually make much difference. It is all so confusing.
I definitely need more relaxation! I think I will be a bit bored of the CD by the end of the month but I am determined to keep at it Smile

Ewww I'm early for the school run so googled how long it takes for sperm and egg to meet and ended up looking at photos of different types of cm! Also watched a little video of sperm and egg meeting.....now all I have to do is get dp to dtd daily for the next dew daysGrin

TheProofIsInThePudding · 16/09/2014 15:05

Thanks Aprilray chocolate sounds like an excellent course of action for after blood tests.

I finally seem to have started cramping with AF (at work and use a mooncup, so not bothered to check for blood yet... was that TMI?!) so this could well be officially day one of TTC! Eek!

xBlueberry88x · 16/09/2014 15:36

Afternoon ladies,

April my dp never notices anything I do to my hair lol...I thought I mentioned that your first scan would be an internal....sorry if I didnt its horrible whether you know its going to happen or not...my AF turned up the day I was due to have it and he still did it ewww....glad it was clear though

Lucie dont have it done when AF is there I did and he said its very hard to see anything when AF is happening (they can still see but not very easy)...also make sure you pee before

TheProof how have you got away with no blood tests ive had so many from checking for arthritis, to checking my coeliac levels to if im ovulating lol

Welcome to the newbies and the September bus passengers

Secret I have coeliac disease and have been ttc 18 months how ever im sure its to do with the depo jab rather than being coeliac...i have read about the fertility issues but it seems to only be a problem if it has been undiagnosed for a long time as your body cant take in the vitamins it needs...im anemic i also take various vitamins as i know im low on a fair few. If you need a chat about it message me.

spinning time to jump your man lol

CD 9 for me and getting reading for the dtd marathon, seem to have lotsa cm on and off last couple of days so hopefully ill have loadssss in the next few days!! Really going to go for it this month as id love a June baby as we June babys are awesome!!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 16/09/2014 16:30

Oooo spinning glad you are on target to catch dh.

I'm wondering whether to write off this month altogether. Feel quite low about it actually. Dh and I haven't made up Sad he's driving me potty. I know I'll fell crap if I dtd regardless. I'm not very good at pretending everything is ok, even if it is for the greater good.

I had another bucket if ewcm this morning. So I know ov is imminent. Just feeling crap about the whole thing.

allatonce99 · 16/09/2014 17:06

Hi ladies, have been super busy and just spent the afternoon catching up on the busses! Sorry to those who af got and welcome to all joining, love the comment about the witch being to busy with Halloween to come for us, hope we can all sneak past her and onto the bfp list without her seeing!
Its CD 10 here and so far DTD on day 8,9 and hope to everyday. A quick q... If the first positive opk was on cd13 and still poss cd14 does that mean ov day is cd14? Trying to use last month's opks to figure out what to expect...
In other news, anyone else slightly obsessed with the NHS due date calculator??... If I Fall this cycle will be due June 13th... Anyone else obsessed or just me?... Hmm
Baby dust to all Grin

Sunbathing you are brilliant! Love a planner, woman after my own heart, lol!! GrinGrin

April - I know what you mean about seeing that scan screen with an empty belly. I always thought the first time I saw it there'd be a person in there too! But am getting so used to seeing it empty at all my scans now that I'm going to appreciate seeing a baby in there a million times more than I would have before. SmileSmile

MrsE, make it up!! You'll blatantly make friends again in a couple of days anyway - if you miss ov you'll be kicking yourself all cycle.

All quiet in ChandlersVille. CD5. Only news is I started taking EPO today! Trying 2000mg every day til ov, then switching for fish oil from ov to AF/BFP. I never get any EWCM, so giving it a whirl!

spinningirl10 · 16/09/2014 17:39

Ahh MrsE, sorry to hear things are no better, I hate falling out with dp, it always gets me down.....hugs for you and WineThanks am I right in thinking next ov time will be in your new home?Grin

Allatonce, I used to look up due date but not anymore, I'd love a June baby though.....hmmm I think I say that every month!
