I think AF got me :-/ Since early this afternoon, everytime I go to the toilet and wipe, it's a very, very pale brown. It's not come to much yet so just a waiting game I guess! Don't want to use a tampon until I'm 100% sure it's AF. It's cycle#1 CD32 for me, is there any chance this could be implantation bleeding?

Thanks SunbathingCat, I am fairly optimistic right now. I have tested today (BFN) but am conscious that I am only 10dpo so it is still early. I have some cheapies left so can continue to test daily until I know either way hopefully.

I'm ttc3, month 2. I never went back on the pill so no readjustment for cycles needed.

Pretty sure I'm 10-14 dpo. No symptoms really other than some diarrhoea about a week ago, tmi! Only significant as I had that with my first two.

Keeping my fingers crossed all will go ok, I'm conscious I have been very lucky so far.

teeniedeenie34 how many dpo are you? Brown is good as it usually means it is old blood so less likely to be af iyswim. Have you tested at all?

I'd like to think so Kitty but my (male) dogs pee smells strong too and he hopefully isn't upduffed lol. Maybe it is a bit of both? . I am 10dpo.

Grand as it's my first cycle I think I'm about 13 dpo but could be a day or two out. I think I ovulated around the 14th/15th. Would that be right?

Just been reading up on pregnancy symptoms and babycentre has the following to say about spotting:

"It's common to have some spotting at the time when you'd usually have your period. You may notice a slight pink or brown-coloured stain in your knickers, or when you wee, or feel slight cramping. Experts aren't sure why spotting in very early pregnancy happens, but it's thought to either be caused by the egg implanting in your uterus, or more likely, the hormones that control your periods kicking in."

So it does sound hopeful for you. Maybe get a couple of tests like the superdrug ones or first response early result and test to see either way.

Grand I had exactly that with DS1, hence not testing until a week later. I also had some spotting at approx 7 weeks followed by an emergency scan- when I cried seeing the tiny heartbeat!
I put it down to having a short LP.
This time, I ov'd on day 17 of a 28 day cycle. I had a funny shooting pain a week later followed by string pg symptoms and a +ve CB digital 1 day before AF due.
I'm sure I have funny hormones and seem to have very resistant periods! I always had light periods with my Mirena and was never able to join 2 pill packs up to stop AF on hols.

I would expect a test to be positive by 13dpo but I am only basing that on my own experiences as I know some women don't get a BFP until later than that. It can't hurt to test (apart from your bank balance that is lol).

Thanks for the link fififolle. I had bleeding on a few occasions while pg with dc1. I also had emergency scans and it was put down as a cervical ectropion in my case (the hormones made my cervix more sensitive and thus prone to bleeding).

I've never got a positive test with any of my pgs (been pg 8 times tmk) until after af was due. My son who is now 11, didn't show a positive test until I was about 8 weeks. I knew I was pg, felt pg, but the test wasn't convinced.

Well my temp spike yesterday seems to be an isolated event as it has dropped again this morning. I tested anyway on a cheapy but BFN so am now expecting the inevitable. I am 11dpo so while I know it could be an implantation dip, I am pessimistic tbh.

Anyone else testing this morning?

Woken up this morning to full blown AF, disappointed obviously but only cycle#1 for me... Good luck to all the ladies testing over the last few days of August, I will pop back to hopefully catch some BFPs :-) I'm off to catch the September bus before it sets off! Fx for all you!
