Oh kitty what are we going to do without u. My cycles r a joke. Cycle 1 51 days, cycle 2 25 days, cycle 3 29 days and counting!!! Does soy sort out ur cycle to? I just need to regulate it this is a nightmare!

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 18:40

Sounds bloody frustrating katy. I think if you aren't lucky this cycle and I hope you are then give bbt temping a go and look into Soy Isoflavones to help you ovulate at a decent time, to give you a fighting chance of DTD at the right time. Of courses, I'm not a doctor and like English said, we all react differently to things. Start by doing lots of research based on your cycles then make a decision-leave well alone or try something. Good luck!

Katybear123 · 24/08/2014 18:54

Thanks ladies, wow it's a minefield isn't it. I think ur right on temping, also have a cbfm for next cycle which hopefully will ensure dtd at the right time. I'm going to get googling.

Kitty u got ur soy at tesco didn't u?

plinkyplonks · 24/08/2014 19:15

Thanks very much all, KittyVonCatsington - thank you twin! :D Best of luck to all those awaiting BFPs - I'm still in a fair amount of shock and convinced my AF is going to start any day now ?! I'll try and take each day as it comes I guess :)

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 19:16

Nah, off Amazon but the Tesco ones are great!

Heatherous · 24/08/2014 20:22

Hope you don't mind me joining. Got my BFP today! My 2nd baby and I'm around 5 weeks I think

MaGratgarlik1983 · 24/08/2014 20:25

Wow congrats Heatherous - if you don't mind my asking, how many dpo were you when you got your bfp? All this waiting is starting to drive me a bit mad! Congratulation again - wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! :)

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 20:28

Congratulations Heatherous Thanks 5 weeks, wow! You did well waiting that long to test Grin You must be super happy!

Heatherous · 24/08/2014 20:30

To be honest I haven't really been tracking it as my periods have been all over the place. Since I've been tracking periods 3 months ago I've been irregular and at least over 30 days between each period. To be honest I could be less than 5 weeks I'm going off my last period at the moment good look ma and hope you get your BFP soon

Heatherous · 24/08/2014 20:32

Thanks kitty! Just been reading the thread and congrats to you too! I have been testing like mad for about 3 weeks but got my BFP this morning. Just randomly did the test as I was convinced I wouldn't be pregnant. Couldn't believe it when I was!

wow a happy day on the August bus! Congratulations to bfps. Wishing you all the best.

Af arrived this morning, bang on time! It wasn't a surprise after yesterday's bfn. I don't feel too disheartened. It was only cycle 1 ttc so it was expected. I will keep an eye on you all on the sept bus and will join anyone who is still waiting for their bfps in October Smile

plinkyplonks · 24/08/2014 21:32

Congratulations Heatherous :)

bubalou · 25/08/2014 07:56

Just did a first response test and I'm on day 26 of a 28/29 day cycle and got a very definitive BFN so I'm pretty sure I'm out.

I know it's not over until af arrives but I was sure I wasn't pg anyway and this has just confirmed. I think maybe I ovulated late or something and missed dtd when DH was away.

Think I will try tracking my bbt and using opks next cycle to try to track it better.

Recommendations for best opks welcome Smile

fififolle · 25/08/2014 08:23

Woo hoo! Another BFP here Smile
I tested a day early with clear blue digital and it says pregnant 1-2 weeks. Thrilled to bits!

bubalou · 25/08/2014 08:31

Aw congrats fifiolle Grin

That's awesome. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

Please don't forget to add any stats you might have for us still ttc'ers!

Wink
fififolle · 25/08/2014 08:38

Thanks buba. This was our third cycle of TTC but the first with OPK. I used the clear blue digital OPK and got very impatient waiting for the smiley face- it eventually arrived on CD17. I also tried the grapefruit juice thing this month.
Wishing all the ttc'ers lots of luck and smiley faces!

comeawaywithme · 25/08/2014 08:40

Congratulations to those with BFPs! 12DPO here and a BFN. Shall go and lurk on the September bus. Good luck to everyone TTC. Hope we all get BFPs soon!

bubalou · 25/08/2014 08:44

Thanks fififolle

I have been debating the use of opks but am sure I ovulated later then expected this month so may get some and give it a go.

Enjoy the next 9 months and of course your new baby when they arrive Grin

bubalou · 25/08/2014 08:46

Hey comeawaywithme - me too.

I think I ovulated later then expected when DH was away and missed my window.

Meet you over in September - which WILL be our month! Haha

Hmm
Katybear123 · 25/08/2014 08:59

Congrats fifo, heather and plinkey that's v cool news. Bfp club is getting massive

Here in Katybear land still no af day 30!!!! This is doing my pieces sure my boobs r getting bigger. Cm seems to have gone so maybe af is on the way? Oh I hope so or fur a bfp limbo is awful!

ohlordyplordy · 25/08/2014 09:17

Congrars on the bfps, this is such a lucky bus.
Good luck to those of you moving over to September, fx for you.
Dpo10 here and a bfn on a frer, but temp still high and white creamy cm so I'm staying optimistic as dpo10 is still early.
I have a dull bruised type feeling in my abdomen though, so hope it's not a sign of af.

KittyVonCatsington · 25/08/2014 09:19

A huge bank holiday congratulations fifi Thanks wonderful news to wake up to!

I've been reading back on this thread and I think we missed Nora42 off the BFP list - if your reading Nora-belated congratulations!!!

I fullly understand how horrible limbo is Katy Hope you get answers soon

Sorry for the BFN comeaway - 12dpo is still early-remember you can implant as late as 12 dpo...

bubalou · 25/08/2014 09:19

Hang in there Katy.

I had similar last month. Me and DH knew we wanted to start ttc but weren't 'actively' trying if that makes sense.

I have NEVER been more then a day late for my freakishly regular AF which is every 28/29 days. (Except when pg with DS).

Last cycle = nausea, bloated, headaches, swollen boobs, etc, etc but all tests bfn's!

Af eventually arrived 8 days late! Don't know what happened but was most frustrating 8 days of my life!

Here to hold your hand and hope it's a late BFP that's just teasing you!
Smile

Katybear123 · 25/08/2014 09:34

Thanks baba lou u r the best, that really helps, hand taken virtually and squeezed. Kitty thank u to for ur thoughts. I think af is more likely but if she going to arrive I wish she would just show up. Bloody witch! Right going to update stats - to follow soon.
