Jeez Kitty those lines are brilliant especially on the FRER. Massive congrats to you (and MrKitty as he had a little bit to do with it I suppose lol). I am so happy for you both and best of luck for your pregnancy and birth. Hopefully the Soy Isoflavones will bring me the same results Wink.

I graduated from the May bus, but still lurk because I get more of a buzz from the bfps than the pregnancy threads....!! But anyways just wanted to say congratulations to Kitty, you really deserve your BFP and I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months :)

Katybear123 · 24/08/2014 08:57

Kitty amazing news, you so so deserved it. I can't remember how long u have been in the ttc journey can u share, and did u come off pill. U will have to check in on the rest of us as your knowledge and helpful info will be so missed.

Sorry ladies on the bfn's that is so annoying.

Here in katy bear land no symptoms and cd29. I reckon like u sunbathing I ov'd late so my money is on bfp or af on 5th sept. If so angel and sunbathing I Will see u there. I think if not I may have to head to gp surely they can do something to help but will worry bout that then.

Knottyknitter · 24/08/2014 08:57

Great news kitty!!

Sunshinesaz86 · 24/08/2014 08:57

Yey!! Congrats kitty' fabulous news, wishing u a happy healthy 9 months!

Pompatrol · 24/08/2014 09:03

Yippee! Congratulations Kitty!

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 09:04

Thank you all so so so much for your congratulations Thanks
I know how hard it can sometimes be when you haven’t got your BFP --yet—This is by all means not the end and anything can happen but it’s a start and I never got lines as strong as this back in Feb, even testing later.

Well, below are my stats for my little Brighton bean and I’ve attached my BBT chart which I am rather proud of, hee hee

I took Soy Isoflavones to get my pre-ovulation temps way down to get good oestrogen surges: CD2-100mg, CD3- 150mg, CD4-150mg, CD5-200mg & CD6 200mg. I took them just before bedtime and didn’t get many symptoms apart from loooong first morning wees, the odd diarrhoea here and there, a higher libido was really horny some days than I have had in a long time and dry or sticky CM up to ovulation day, where I had classic EWCM for that day only.

I got a very strong positive opk (almost black/dark dark purple), 7 days after taking the last Soy on CD13. This was 7 days earlier than all my other opks.

DTD in the morning on CD8, CD11, CD12, CD13 (in afternoon), CD14 & CD15. Didn’t do the final SMEP DTD on CD17 due to MrKitty breaking his arm.

Apart from the Soy Isoflavones, all I have taken is Folic Acid every day. Conception Vits screwed with my cycles before.

My SYMPTOMS:
Ovulation day - A few twinges in both ovaries throughout the day. Drank a few glasses of wine.
2DPO – Peed quite a lot that day (unusual for me) and my boobs started to get tender (not just my nipples)
3DPO – Had some sharp twinges when in the A & E waiting room with DH
4DPO – Bright red blood when I wiped all day. Felt my heartbeat in my stomach, IYKWIM?
5DPO – No more spotting but some cramps
6DPO – Massive temp drop – hoping this was implantation dip
7-8DPO – not much to report. Drank some wine with dinner both nights.
9DPO – Sore breasts have come back with a vengeance. Hurts even to put a bra on. Start to feel a bit sick but only in the morning. Drank some cider in the evening.
10DPO – Start of the creamy CM. Need two panty liners. Boobs still hurt all day and feel a bit sick in the morning still
11DPO – Everything the same as per 10DPO but I wake up with 5 spots on my face. Not a good look…
12DPO-14DPO My boobs hurt all the time, getting more nauseous, creamy cm and also peeing much more frequently including 2-3 times in the night, which I never do and didn’t last time I had a BFP. Getting sharp twinges at different spots on my tummy including an electric shock under my belly button on 13DPO
15DPO BFP (very faint) on an ic first, strong line on a FRER and Pregnant 1-2 on a CB digi. I even pissed in a green cup ladies Wink

FF says my EDD is 2nd May 2015 based on my ovulation day.

Feeling quite overwhelmed at the kindness I am reading from all your posts. Mr Kitty was also smiling when I shoved a CB digi in his face at 6am Blush but I know he still feels cautious.

For anyone thinking about taking Soy Isoflavones, if you have a normal cycle and ovulate around CD13-16 already – they aren’t for you as you don’t need them. But if you want to bring forward ovulation so you get a younger, healthier bean and a better lining for it to snuggle into, I do recommend it-just don’t forget to DTD lots too Grin

Just read your post katy

This is my 9th cycle of TTC but came off the Pill last October and first joined the January bus. What with a chemical pregnancy, two anovulatory cycles afterwards and a freakishly long cycle last month, I've had 9 proper attempts. Let's hope this is it Grin

Misty Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have a May EDD not an April one but will lurk to catch up with you though!

teachermummy2b · 24/08/2014 09:12

Fantastic news kitty! :)

Im officially off the bus- af got me.

Good luck sunbathing and katy & anyone else still waiting x

Katybear123 · 24/08/2014 09:18

Thanks kitty u sooo deserve this.

Teacher mummy sorry af got u. Suspect will c u on sept bus.xx

EnglishGirlsReturned · 24/08/2014 09:20

Excellent stats Kitty!! I really hope i'll be joining you on the May antenatal! Good luck lovely, keep us posted with any news. Smile

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 09:21

Sorry teachermummy It's pretty tough reading about a BFP when AF gets you. September will be your month xx

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 09:23

I'll keep a seat warm for you English I hope with all my heart it's third time lucky for you. I can't do this without you!!!

Cariad2014 · 24/08/2014 09:43

Huge congratulations Kitty - I'm absolutely delighted for you. I've been in awe of your positivity over the last few months - something I'm really struggling with even though I'm only on cycle 5.

I hope you have a happy and healthy nine months. Here's hoping that lots of us will be graduating with you to the May 2015 ante-natal thread soon. Election baby here you come! Waves pom poms.

I'm so happy for you kitty I've got tears in my eyes. What a journey you have been on and you so deserve your bfp.

MaMaPo · 24/08/2014 10:32

Big huge grin for kitty.

KittyVonCatsington · 24/08/2014 10:38

You've set me off sparkle Wink

spinningirl10 · 24/08/2014 10:53

Fantastic stats Kitty, thank you for those. May due date how lovely. Please come back and see us regularly, you'll be much missed.

With the soy iso's should I not take them? I always ov cd 10/11 but I've read that they can make the egg better quality and as I'm older tat could be a good thing, any thoughts?

Oh and you should announce your bfp on the Sep bus, I'm sure there's a few ladies there that don't pop over here who would love to hear your newsGrin
