We went into town afterwards and had some lunch. DH has bought our fist baby clothes. This is the man who told me to buy neutral colours so we could use them again for a girl or boy. He has ordered a Bradford City football strip 0-6 months.

He is delighted Ducky. It was very obviously a boy and the person doing the scan said that. DH actually looked proud- as if that was some reflection on him!

He would have been just as delighted if it was a girl to be fair. I didn't mind what it is. I am feeling I will be outnumbered now but DH is not sexist in any way ignores football kit purchase for newborn and he will be a fantastic dad.

She said the placenta was in a good position- I remembered you said to ask. Everything was fine. Phew!

That's good! Did he say where your placenta was?

I wondered that because at our scan it was completely obvious! I saw it twice before they said he was a boy! And at the hospital I go to they don't ask you if you want to know until the end so I wondered if you wanted a surprise surely you'd be able to see!

She said it was behind the baby quite high up.

Cupcake If you have got your dates wrong by a week, that scan could be right. Don't give up hope I so hope you are OK.

They said sometimes there can be a sort of 2 week gap for conception and dates but I don't see how I could get my dates wrong. I could be 6 but can't see myself being 5.
I don't know :( just hope there's growth in 2 weeks. I was told to still go and see my midwife next week to book in and get my green notes. She will deffo help to make me feel better. She's so nice. I'm so drained and feeling rather depressed. Been waiting ages for this baby and finally it happens and then someone idiot ruins it :(
And they said the hemorrhage next to the sac was caused by the impact.

Cupcake sometimes they can't see a fetal pole until 6-7 weeks. Don't give up. I am sure your midwife will make you feel better. A bruise is bleeding so it isn't surprising about the blood because you said you are badly bruised- but it doesn't mean the bleeding is from the pregnancy. Keep your chin up!

Aw lulu! Thanks :) boys tend to be mummy's boys as well! So lots of cuddles with mom :)

And yes he's being more supportive. He came to the scan and made him realise things aren't good and he began to feel bad and worry about us both.
He's said sorry and has treated me today and treated DS.

I hope the baby grows lulu I really do :(

Also don't forget cupcake that your egg lives longer than a day so it's possible that you conceived later than you think. I was also told by the hospital that scans this early aren't very reliable and they can be 5 days off.

Hope your little bean hangs on, if only them horrible idiots knew the worry they had caused makes my blood boil

Yes, ours is going to be a cuddly mummy's boy. Mind you DH is a cuddler, sensitive and emotionally intelligent so he wouldn't be allowing him to be a little thug either.

My worry is he is born like that. I keep remembering how rubbish we were with the little boy we looked after a few weeks ago who just ran us ragged and did what he liked. makes mental note to be tough mum We were hopeless and he was in charge. If that's what we are like with ours, this could be a disaster.

Haha aww lulu I'm sure hel be a good boy itl be different having your own, he will be used to your rules and I'm sure if he's left with anyone else I'm sure he will run them ragged!!!

I've worked it out by my dates and it's possible for me to be 6 weeks pregnant just. So maybe the scans right? I mean I've read a 5 and 6 week pregnancy doesn't always have a fetal pole yet as it's too early. So maybe. I dunno just trying to find some hope! Lol

Me too Cupcake. Try to be positive.

DH has just baked some cheese scones and they are amazing. I am eating one warm with butter and a cup of tea. They are rather large as well.

If I could I would send you one to have with a cup of tea in bed.
