cherry congratulations! I can't wait to see the magic pregnant flash up on a cb digi, must be a fantastic feeling. Have a v.happy & healthy 9 months.

I wouldn't be able to wait either siarie keeping fingers tightly crossed for you.

mama my last 2 cycles AF has arrived 3 days then 4 days early, frustrating. My last cycle was 21days!! I'm hoping it will change again, I can't be doing with AF every couple of weeks.

I've decided to have a pj day today. Was up at 3:30 to see ds1 off on his jollies. Just managed to nod off then ds2 got up. So tired!

spinningirl10 · 13/07/2014 12:04

Congratulations cherryGrin

Sparkle, I am packing now and have 2 hpt's. af/bfp is due Sunday so hoping to hold off testing until fri/sat. If I was at home I would be poas from Tuesday Grin when will you poas? Fx for you.

sparkle17 · 13/07/2014 12:23

spinning I was going to poas Saturday as it is my friends wedding and want to know if I can drink or not. But then I was thinking that if I get a bfn that morning it will put me in a bad mood for the wedding when it is meant to be a lovely day. So I think I will buy a 2 pack frer and poas Friday and possibly sat morning. So lets start a friday poas party. Anyone else want to join.

Enjoy your pj day cpt1.I annoyingly have work to do. I really resent working at the weekend. Grr

Siarie · 13/07/2014 16:10

Update - BFN on FRER today, but loads of EWCM? I actually thought AF had come but no just tones of EWCM! Super stretchy and everything lol. What is going on :(

ChandlersFarang · 13/07/2014 16:27

Hello strangers!! I'm back after about a month off MN... Missed you all! And hi newbies Smile

In short, been back to the UK (inc Glastonbury - which was AMAZING, any of you go?) and now am back in Thailand (where as some of you know from prev thread titles the fertility treatments are goooooood).

Aside from the nuts travel I've had a total rollercoaster on the TTC front - loads of conflicting test results and three different doctors telling me different things. To cut a long story short I do seem to have a mild form of PCOS, which explains the way my cycles never went back to normal after stopping the pill. Anyway I'm picking up some boomshakalaka top medication to get my hormone levels fixed tomorrow - Metformin and Femara - which should hopefully put me back on the busses/in the standard TTC game. For future stats purposes there's currently no BFP due date for me, as my ovaries are currently "in a resting state" - the lazy goodfornothings - but jump starting them from this week so Fx. I'll be lurking around on here waiting for good news from you lot in the meantime!!

Kitty am super excited to have read back over your potential situation!! Promising as hell!! Keep us posted! Also Fx for Kurama and the other ladies on here with some cracking SYMPTOMS... Grin

DH is limbering up to do his obligatory sample at the hospital tomorrow... Our convo just now:

Me: don't forget we're going to the hospital together tomorrow!
DH: oh yeah. So I just wank in a pot, right?
Me: yep!

Men. Brilliant Grin

notoasthere · 13/07/2014 16:49

siarie I had ewcm at 10dpo last pregnancy :)

Cpt1sock · 13/07/2014 16:50

Wb chan think your last bus was my first. The future is sounding positive for you, fx for some exciting news in the near future!

siarie it's still early doors for you! try to wait a couple of day before testing again (if you can).

It's very quiet here today, you must all be off having lives or sumfink, rude! Wink Grin

spinningirl10 · 13/07/2014 16:59

Siarie, lots of stretchy cm is good, fx for you

Chandler yay good to see you back. Pleased you enjoyed Glastonbury, did you watch Dolly? I watched on tv and thought she was fab! Spuds like you're getting very good treatment there, fx it brings you a bfp soon.

Thanks ladies, I'm all packed and ready to go.

Linda, you'll be in my thoughts on Tuesday. I've got everything crossed for you.

I've still got lots of cm but I'm wondering if its because I took evening primrose oil from af to ov or maybe the reflexology has increased it!

sparkle17 · 13/07/2014 17:14

Welcome back chandler glasto looked amazing!

Sorry it is a bfn saire how many dpo are you?

That's me finished work for today. Ready for a Sunday roast and the world cup final. Feeling happier now!

laurano81 · 13/07/2014 17:21

Hi Ladies, Just home & I have to make dinner, so I will be back on later to catch up. x I am 10DPO today, & absolute NO AF, or sign of it! Smile Trying to be calm, as I am not going to POAS til Tuesday/12DPO, if AF stays away. I can't go through getting a -tive result, so I think it is best to wait...I have EWCM & creamy & temp was 36.75°C this morning..I am wrecked, but tbh I am not sleeping well at all x I am very naughty Hmm I did another OPK today before we left, and they was a darker line then yesterday! Trying not to read too much in to it xx

ChandlersFarang · 13/07/2014 17:32

Thanks Cpt, spinning & Sparkle!! Smile Yeah I did see Dolly spinning and she was an absolute legend! Total pro! As usual, we all turned up with lists of cool DJs and obscure bands we thought would wow everyone, and then she turns up and was hands down everyone's favourite act of the weekend!!

I didn't think about TTC much at all when I was so busy back home - was ace! One doc told me there that I didn't have PCOS, and that my lack of ovarian action was down to stress, but three super happy weeks in the UK have led to the pair of them to have done sod all to create an egg by day 24 of my current cycle, so that's clearly bullshit. Although I did drink myself silly and not get a whole lot of sleep, which is of course a whole different sort of body stress..! Am now getting back to a very healthy routine in Bangkok, sticking on one time zone - that helps apparently!

Have been reading a really good cognitive behavioural therapy book since the diagnosis, which has helped me a ton to be really positive in spite of basically being told I'm (temporarily?!) currently infertile. My belief that the world should be fair and that I deserved to be pregnant were causing me more stress than necessary, especially when the evidence shows there are treatments I can have to get things working again, and lots of women with PCOS that have babies. Essentially, there's a lot of injustice in this world, and I've been very lucky not to have had too much of it... So if this is my little share, then that's just fine and I'll cope. I will have a baby one day, I just need to be patient! It's good to keep things in perspective. Smile

Cpt1sock · 13/07/2014 18:09

chandler sounds like you're in a good place at the moment. Which book is it that you read? I could do with a dose of cbt, I'm finding myself falling into negative thought patterns every cycle and this is only #3, I need a kick up the backside or I'll be a wreck before BFP comes along. Xx

Lauran, eek it's sounding so good for you!

Sparkle, Friday sounds like a good plan. Wi-fi permitting I'll be at the poas party Grin

There are so many of you with promising symptoms.....I might check in and find you've all got bfp's, how amazing would that be!

laurano81 · 13/07/2014 19:32

AAgggh I was half way through writing a big long message & I somehow closed the page!! Angry Bear with me whilst I begin again Hmm x

laurano81 · 13/07/2014 19:40

Kitty I feel the same about POAS, well an HPT! x It is really scary x Your temps are really high! Fx you will get a BFP x You are nearly there. Don't cry (hugs), we are all in this together x

Cpt1 I hope you enjoyed your PJ day! Oh simply lush Smile I am long overdue one of those Smile x

English My sis used to have a major crush on Harvey! She will be well Jel, when I tell her you saw him in Tesco! Grin x

Spinning Marti Pellow! Oh yum yum yum! Grin Evita must have been fab! I had AF type cramps 8DPO, fx they are a good sign,..I even had them yesterday, as well but not as much x Have a fab time in Italy x Don't forget to let us know the minute you get a BFP x

laurano81 · 13/07/2014 19:50

Kurama I hope you are feeling better x My postman smiles at me too! yikes Wink x

Welcome angelaham Oh fx that DTD last night did the trick Smile,..keep DTD! You'd never know x

Mama It is possible to bleed & be pregnant. Do the test tomorrow with FMU, so as to put your mind at ease. At least then you will be out of limbo land, with not knowing what is going on x

Welcome Onehappymammy x

Siarie I took another opk today, & it was a bit darker again! I am sorry you got a BFN, but I think you took it too early x Fx for a BFP x

notoast & Rainbow I took the OPK, as per usual. I didn't use FMU. I am not sure if that made a difference. I took another one today, and it was a bit darker. Anyway I bought 2 cheapy tests Firstvue, and a twin pack of FRER's. I am going to wait til Tuesday, before POAS & defo a HPT!

Chandlers You seem to be getting places! Yay! Exciting times ahead x You are right to try to remain positive, as I truly believe the energy we give out, comes right back at us x My acupuncturist put an electrical current through the needles the last time, to stimulate my ovaries x It might be worth suggesting your acupuncturist should do the same for you. x

laurano81 · 13/07/2014 19:51

Misty414 Do you temp? Did you get a +OPK CD15/16, or any other day of this cycle?

EnglishGirlsReturned · 13/07/2014 19:53

Ladies.. ladies ...ladies. Step away from the opks as hpts. I know you're desperate to know but as far as my 111 cycles has shown me is that for an opk to be accurate for pregnancy it has to be pretty strong. Test line darker than opk. Whilst waiting for my hcg levels to come down I did an opk just to see - VERY dark test line. And a test on hpt.
Trust a hpt only, I know its hard. But you could be setting yourself up for a fall. Our bodies are very tricksy things, especially when TTC!

Can't wait to see a few more bfps!! Congrats Cherry - happy and healthy preggo vibes coming at you!

Still no positive opk, but dh and I are dtd eod and actually enjoying it! After a 10 week drought whilst I was pg, it's nice to feel that cloesness again Grin

EnglishGirlsReturned · 13/07/2014 19:56

Welcome back Chandlers - sounds like you're on the right path now. FX you get a nice bfp soon!!

Sorry for the bfn Saire, not out til the witch arrives though!!

Laurano - there's loads of randoms round our area. Quite often see Jeremey Kyle out and about and Chris Evans Grin

mistywillow17 · 13/07/2014 19:59

Hi all, been away for a few days on an impromptu camping trip to the new forest and trying to catch up - wow, there have been a lot of posts this week! Congrats to the bfps!

Unfortunately AF got me mid-week- so I was definitely fooling myself with the line I saw when I tested before (logically I knew that it was too too early). A bit disappointing, but it's still relatively early days for us, and at least I could make the most of the local scrumpy (lethally strong, and helped dull the disappointment a bit).

Also found some Conceive Plus reduced from £16 to £4 in Tesco, so ready and willing to give it everything next time around (embarrassingly I had to take it to customer services as it went through the till at full price... cringe!). Off to the August bus, keeping my fingers crossed for you all and hoping not to see too many of you there!
