I'm no help BrixtonBunny as Ive never used opk's but eod dtd until today sounds positive. Do you normal get ewcm? Yay for your lovely dh!!

I don't think I've had EWCM before (at least not for years) but I had coil for 7 years and before then pill for a couple of years... So still getting used to what my body does without hormones

It's actually quite fascinating.

Am a bit worried with lack of EWCM plus early ovulation, but nothing I can do apart from relax!

Can anyone talk to me about ovulation strips?!

I did one mid afternoon on CD 11 and 12 which were negative (no line other than control strip). Cd13 did one and the lines were almost identical but test line was just a smidge lighter than control line. CD14 there was a feint test line.

So where did I ovulate?! Wonder if it was worth doing them twice a day if no luck this month?

Anyway we DTD every day apart from CD13 because we fell asleep as soon as heads on pillow bloody pair of idiots!! so I'm hoping the 48 hours we missed wont be too much of a problem. Saying that all our DTD was after midnight so I've no idea which day to class it as anyway!

Last time I got a bfp on CD22 with ovulation around cd12/13 and a 26 day cycle. I don't think ill get a bfp that early this time. Although it would be lovely if I did. It would be DP's birthday :)

Sorry detective, I couldn't get on with the strips first cycle, so this cycle I switched to the clearblue digital ovulation kit - so much simpler to use! But I've heard some ladies don't get on with them, and they are pricier (although I got a two-month supply from amazon for £33 rather than £46 which is the price in Boots)!

The detective - I use the cb opks to but I'm sure in of the ladies on here will be able to assist

brixton make sure it has guaifenesin in it - I think robitussin was recommended on here. basically there is an active ingredient which you need. oh and lots of water too

must be around 9dpo today even more spot all over my face now, so so very tired im barely functioning and my god my boobs hurt when I got up this morning, its very rare I get painful boobs and its never this bad, I also have a dodgy tummy.

Just had my second call from clear blue, have to start from cd1 so I will get my pack in time for my next af in August. Hoping I don't get it of course but I was quite looking forward to taking part!

I was freaking out earlier...I have a new class today, really young French students, so I had to do a lot more monitoring of their work. I was on my feet constantly today,..anyway I started getting period cramps at around 1.30 & it lasted for about 30-40 mins,..I have them on & off still, but less severe...I went to the loo, but nothing only creamy stretchy CM... scared tbh, as I am only 8DPO...temp was 36.61°C, compared to 36.66°C yesterday...oh the 2WW will be the death of me! x

Ooh, good to see lots of promising symptoms and sounds like there is lots of DTD going on for those around ov time, hopefully this bus is a slow burner and the BFPs will pick up from now on.

Laurano lots of the ladies who have got BFPs recently have reported lots of CM so don't worry x

My temp is still low and have on/off cramping - decided not to waste another test as sure AF will arrive within the next day or two. Crazy PMT hormones have gone thankfully.

I'm out for dinner and this evening and then leaving rainy London for sunny Jersey first thing but will be checking in on my phone over the weekend hoping for some good news!! Will post updated stats below, so many AFs!

Detective, I use the ic opk strips. My line never gets darker than control line, when it gets quite dark I pee on a cb and it confirms with a smiley face! Sounds like your positive was when the line was at its darkest. I always use the ic twice a day around ov time.

Sports day was good fun until my dd who is 18 had a mini meltdown as she got a call to say she hadn't got a job that she had an interview for yesterday. Kitty Yay! That is a decent temp hike! Fx As for ovulating twice! It very possible, I reckon that is what happened to me, when I conceived my twins! Every single Medium I have gone to over the years, have told me that my son has a twin sister! That I have a daughter x They all can't be wrong! So in my heart her name is Katie. My little angel x

Thedetective If you got a nearly +opk on CD13, & a faint one on CD14, then I would say that the LH surge was on CD13, & you will ovulate 12-36 hours after that approx. ! Get BDing! x

Cinnamon Fx you will get a BFP! & you won't need the clearblue ovualtion kit! Wouldn't that be FAB! x

Treacle Sometimes my temps don't go back down til CD4! Other times, it's earlier x I hope the pain has eased x

Detective I would do an OPK Cd 15, & 16, just to make sure! If they are -tive then I would take it that you did in fact have the LH surge CD13 x

Oh ladies, I'm having such a terrible afternoon. My mum called to tell me my little sister is pregnant - she's a month off being 17 years old. I'm heartbroken for her. I think she will have a termination which IMHO is the right call, but she's so young to have to go through this. And obviously we're TTC which feels doubly tough as if and when we do get a BFP I'm worried it will upset her. Her appointment with BPAS isn't for a week so she has a while to get he head around it all but she's still a baby herself in so many ways. I'm sorry to vent, I'm just so shaken.

On the plus side getting the soft cup out was fine and will keep DTD to try and catch that egg.

Brixton Maybe your sister wants the baby, if she has enough support it is very possible for her to be a mum x A comes with it's own set of problems It devastates a lot of women I hope she can make the best decision for her, for she has to live with it either way x It must be really scary for her right now x
