Jump on catnip! Welcome! Xx

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 08:56

Nordic- i just wanted to send you a huge hug! Xx

1moretime · 06/07/2014 09:13

Thanks ladies. Yes things have been up & down for a while...age gap too...dh is 9 yrs older than me.
I just think it is unfair to carry on trying when things are like this.
I feel like a bit of a loner at times, all he seems to care about at the min is his training for running (he is doing a ultra marathan next month) i know he needs to train hard for it, but i have needs too.
We had a few hours to ourselves yesterday as my mum took the kids for the day.
It felt like we were strangers...didnt know what to say or talk about!!

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 09:17

Spending more time together will help i am sure. When is the event he is training for? Could you book a weekend away or something for after that? Xx

KittyVonCatsington · 06/07/2014 09:17

Morning ladies!!

So sorry to read of all the heartache some of you went through yesterday. This TTC milarky is bloody hard and it's very sad when AF arrives. Wishing you all a better Sunday Thanks

Rainbow I can see a line-congratulations are in order!!!!!!!!!

4dpo for me and my temp went below the coverline Sad Coverline is 36.60 and my temp was 36.54. Praying it's a fallback rise or, according to Amanda bears FAQ, a corpus luteum dip where the oestrogen has a high before more progesterone takes over. Just know I will be thinking about it all day and praying it goes up tomorrow morning. This is all so stressful!!!

EnglishGirlsReturned · 06/07/2014 09:22

Kitty don't worry about your temp falling below the cover line. It doesn't mean anything. The line is only there for you to see the visible difference pre and post ov. And that's only a small dip. Smile

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 09:31

The rash on my chin that started on Friday is still here and has started behind both ears x

Aprilray · 06/07/2014 09:38

Sorry to hear about your troubles with DH 1moretime I second the idea for a weekend away after his event.

Treacle don't be disheartened by the bfn. It is still very early and your symptoms are sounding so promising. I was really tempted to poas this morning even though I'm only 8 dpo max. Have told DH to hide the tests from me for now.

Rainbow can't see on my phone but sounds like there is definitely a line - yay!! Looking forward to seeing a stronger one soon.

Feeling sick but think that's just nerves for my show. Terrified I'm going to fall over or forget the steps!

KittyVonCatsington · 06/07/2014 09:39

Would I do without you English ??! I luffs you Grin
How are you?

cinnamongreyhound · 06/07/2014 09:40

So sorry you are feeling like that 1moretime! It's very sensible of you to stop ttc as well. Really hope things work out for you. Have you talked to dh about how you feel? I run and know a lots of people in my club who train very hard and it has made things difficult at home while they've been leading up to an event. Take care.

Hoping for a stronger line for you Rainbow55, can't see it on my phone it's too small and then blurry when I zoom. Be really lovely to see it :)

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 09:44

Good luck April! Let us know how you get on!

Treacle- def too early. So hard to be patient but the time will pass :-) xx

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 09:48

Thanks everyone. Last time I didnt test positive til 11dpo when af was due so I'm a still in for now.

Still feel incredibly sick too.
Hi catnip :)

Blueskygirl30 · 06/07/2014 09:51

1moretime I'm sorry things are so hard for you at the moment and I hope you manage to work things out. I also run and have spoken to people who have done an ultra who have said how hard it was for their OH whilst they were in the training phase. Hopefully after the ultra he will take some time of long distance to spend it with you. Either way, make sure you are happy, sometimes you have to put yourself first. X

Treacle I'm sure it was just too early today. I can't remember, do you take AC or B6 to try and lengthen your luteal phase at all?

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 09:53

Only the b6 thats in my conception vitamins.
I shouldn't have tested really. Will see what next week brings!

MrsI86 · 06/07/2014 11:35

Congrats Rainbow, fx for a stronger line on the next test

So sorry that things are so tough nordic and 1more. Sending hugs your way.

Made a big mistake yesterday and bought some tests (didn't have any before now) so of course this morning I couldn't resist poas. As expected, bfn - I'm only 9 or 10dpo. Don't know what I was thinking as I don't even have any symptoms so not really expecting a bfp this month.

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 11:41

It's hard not to try MrsI86. Wait and see what happens xx

laurano81 · 06/07/2014 12:01

Hi Ladies, I had a busy Sunday morning, so only popping on now x

Treacle Sorry about the BFN, but tbh it is probably too early, as even with a shorter LP, implantation still on average occurs 7-10 dpo, so you little bean may not even had a chance to release HCG x Fx x

1more sorry you are having a rubbish time with you DH. My DH is 3 1/2 yrs older than me & I still wonder if he will grow up at times Grin! Saying that I am young at heart myself x I think the main thing is that you feel neglected! It is all him & his running! Where is the me time! I also think you need a weekend away to rekindle the spark! If that is not possible, try to get involved in his race preparations, and plan a romantic meal for the two of you afterwards. I think every relationship has it's ups & downs...anyone that says they have a perfect relationship are kidding themselves! There is no such thing as perfect or we wouldn't be here!
You can't see the beauty of the stars, without the darkness of the night x

Kitty that is only a small dip .06! I wouldn't worry about it! Didn't you say that your temps were at times unsually high during the follicular phase, then that would have brought the coverline up higher than it normally would be at...correct me if I am wrong...Don't worry it will go back up x

Rainbow Fx you get a stronger line in the morning! You won't have long more to wait! x

KittyVonCatsington · 06/07/2014 12:20

Yep, you are right laura - my AF temps were still around the 36.7 mark then went lower until a dip in the days preceeding the first +VE OPK. It's just to go from 36.74 to 36.54 freaked me out until good ole Google and you guys stepped in. I just don't feel lucky this cycle. I feel like something went a bit wrong in my ovary dept.
However, today, zero symptoms. Don't you just hate the TWW??!!

100% agree that you just tested too early Treacle. - even with a short LP, the implantation will happen at the usual time and you should get a +VE hpt result in the usual manner. The main negative with ovulating late like us (it was CD20 for me, what was yours again?) is that the lining may not be as welcoming and the egg a little older. I would love to ovulate around CD13-16 but there is no reason why you now can't get pregnant and go on to have a healthy 9 months. Can you wait until Tuesday to test again with FMU or better still, wait till Thurs or Fri? totally understand not being able to

laurano81 · 06/07/2014 13:01

Lp I hope Af stays away & that you get your BFP x Maybe you should get your rash checked out. x

Oh Spinning Italy sounds favoloso! What part are you heading to? My husband is Hungarian, but his family name is Italiano! I always wanted to go to Lake Garda! Questo è il mio sogno Grin! Fx for a BFP!

Welcome Catnip Smile x

Nordic My parents are together 35 years! Mum still reckons dad comes out with most bloody stupid of comments! Let's face it. No matter how brilliant our husbands can be, they are prone to being insensitive at times x (Hugs) You need to let him know how you felt x

MrsG & Spinning It just proves we all have our Journeys! x

MrsI86 Sorry about the BFN, but I reckon you tested too early! Fx you get a BFP! It sometimes happens when you least expect it! x

Treacle I hope you feel better soon or maybe not if it is because you are preggers x

Kitty It will go back up tomorrow...I actually have had the same thing happen to me in other cycles...I think it is normal x If you look at other charts online it seems to be a common trend. My temps were 36.53°c this morning! Yay! However so many things can affect basal temps, so I wouldn't worry too much! We both had high temps before our AF came last month!! Hmm BBT is just one piece of the complicated TTC puzzle [Grin] x

TMI alert-I had a bit of stretchy pink cm late last night (2dpo)! It then turned to brown about an hour after. I just wonder is it from all the BDing, as I have absolutely nothing now! We DTD CD 8, 10, 12-20! or is it from ovulation x I haven't experienced this before. x

lp2014 · 06/07/2014 13:15

Thanks Laurano!

Ooh fingers crossed that means something good for you! Xx

Teadrinkerandatinker · 06/07/2014 13:25

Im 10 DPO !! :D ovulated on 26th got my dates wrong thought i could only test from 10th on wards so POAS tomorrow i have calmed down now and we have a plan for what will happen in terms of my new job and getting new house sorted hoping for a BFP going to do a Clearblue and a FRER whoo

KittyVonCatsington · 06/07/2014 13:30

laura that sounds like ovulation bleeding to me. A former poster duchesse (hope you and bean are doing well duchesse!) had the same thing right after when she thought she ovulated and I said to try to DTD one more time in case and she got a BFP that very cycle!
As far as I have read, the egg sometimes blasts out of the follicle so violently, that a small bit of blood is released. Is there any chance you could DTD today, just in case??!!

Treaclepie19 · 06/07/2014 13:33

Thanks all. I am useless at self control.

Kitty, i ovulated on cd15/16 but my ovulation varies. This is the earliest it's been for a while and af normally turns up 10/11dpo.
I'm hoping to wait a few days before testing.

Last time my bfp was on 11dpo so there's still time.
