Still lurking here, grandhigh I couldn't see anything but it might be quite tricky to see from a picture, I'm eager to see if another test shows anything?

I just glad not to have a headache today, I've had once since I stopped my BC pill two/three days ago.

Linda that scan looks so lovely! how inspiring for everyone here.

TheGrandHighWitch · 04/07/2014 11:54

Thanks BrixtonBunny, Aprilray, Nordicmom and SurreyBunny. It's nice to know that it's not just me lol.

Thanks for the fx MrsExtraOrdinary, laurano81, kurama, FoscarC and Siarie.

Oooh lovely pic lindamagoo, baby looks lovely and comfy in there.

Thanks for your comment Teadrinkerandatinker and I appreciate that it is hard to tell from a picture what I have been seeing on several tests over the last few days. The tests may be made in china like every other test is but they are sold in the uk and so have to conform to the sale of goods act and be fit for purpose. If they are so dodgy that they are showing lines that aren't there then they would be removed from sale and the nhs would not be using them. I fully acknowledge that it could simply be wishful thinking on my part but then surely I would have seen the lines on all the tests and not just the ones over the last few days.

In any event I have re-tested with a different brand of ic and again fairly sure of a second line being there albeit faint. Will test with the superdrug test in the morning with fmu and hopefully there will be something much stronger there.

Awwww Linda, what a beautiful scan pic. So pleased all is well. I only cried as your post was so lovely so d

spinningirl10 · 04/07/2014 12:01

Oops posted too soon!

Yes it was a lovely message so don't apologiseGrin

MrsVonBlack13 · 04/07/2014 12:10

Wow this page fills up fast with all us soon to be mummy's!

Thanks for all the welcomes!! Fx for everyone for their BFP's coming up! I feel a million miles away from mine. Stupid TWW, can't their be like something huge that tells you straight away like confetti pops out your hooha or something haha!

notoasthere · 04/07/2014 12:14

Sounds hopeful grand!

Siarie · 04/07/2014 12:17

MrsVon haha SURPRISE - Poof, I think that would freak me out more than giving birth.

FoscarC · 04/07/2014 12:28

mrsvon I was thinking exactly the same yesterday. But I was imagining your foof turning purple or something. Just so you knew straight away. And none of this waiting around business.

TheGrandHighWitch · 04/07/2014 12:32

FoscarC funny you should say that but your bits looking purple is apparently a sign of being pg due to the extra blood flow to your pelvis. It's called Chadwick's sign.

Just done an opk with second morning urine and a 5 hour hold and it is darker than yesterdays so woo hoo. Either something is going right hormone wise or I am going to ovulate again Grin.

FoscarC · 04/07/2014 12:36

grandhigh, that is great news! So chuffed for you. When are you planning in doing a poas again? Yay!!

TheGrandHighWitch · 04/07/2014 12:41

Thanks FoscarC, I am planning to P-O-A-Superdrug tomorrow lol with FMU. I so need a definitive result so I can stop obsessively peeing on sticks Grin. Of course if BFP I will still obsessively be taking hpt's but it will be less frequent I promise.

BrixtonBunny · 04/07/2014 12:46

So exciting GrandHigh! I know you'll keep us posted Grin

spinningirl10 · 04/07/2014 13:01

Grandhigh, I can see a faint line, how exciting. Looking forward to tomorrow mornings poas updateGrin

Sparkle, hope you sort things out with your dh for your weekend away. Men can be funny about bedroom jokes.

Bunny sorry af arrived but yay for the holiday!

MrsExtraOrdinary · 04/07/2014 13:02

Linda that first scan pic is so precious isn't it. 2 fingers to your gp who was pronouncing about you a few months back. Such lovely happy news it really is. Smile

Lauran that's really comforting to hear you say that. The fact we've been able to bypass the system is brilliant. Hopefully there's still time to turn him around with the right structure in place. And thankyou for your chat about stress a couple of weeks ago. It really got me thinking about making decisions to have a calmer life.

Nordicmom · 04/07/2014 13:08

So am f bleeding now then , no cramps though or clots but I think this is it though . I'm f pissed off its been 8 cycles now and to be honest if you count us trying for dd ( eho i vouldnt carry myself ) too i've lost count . My body's truly shit and I guess I can't do this at least without ivf . I do wish we could just start the us surrogacy ball rolling but the more sensible DH refuses .
Linda I've always used cb and had countless proven positives on it and then miscarried so actually have never had problems with false positives on them except maybe now then . Who knows . Aaargh

TheGrandHighWitch · 04/07/2014 13:12

Oh no, I am so so sorry Nordicmom. I really hoped this was it for you. Sad Flowers Flowers and Cake for you.

Cpt1sock · 04/07/2014 13:17

To cheer myself up I've added some rod Stewart & cliff Richard songs on to ds1 playlist. Will be funny when he's listening with his pals and Do You Think I'm Sexy starts to play. He'll find it funny too, got a bit of an on going rod based joke with him.

Couple who came back for 2nd viewing put an offer in on another house this morning, arghhh! Only just managed to get off the phone to estate agents before I burst in to tears and had a toddler style tantrum!

foscar don't worry too much about upset stomach with ds2 the majority of my pregnancy sickness came from the opposite than expected end. Just keep your fluids up.

linda what a lovely baby you're growing. Scan pictures are amazing aren't they.

grand it's all looking good, I'm excited for you, what time do you expect fmu so I can set my alarm haha, fx for you lady.

xBlueberry88x · 04/07/2014 13:19

Afternoon Ladies,

Theres way to much going on to catch up fully while im at work lol.

Linda How gorgeous I cant wait till I get a bfp and see my baby for the first time.

Spinning thinking of you lovely.

Nordic sorry your going through such a hard time.

MrsE Glad your dss is getting the support he needs.

Welcome to any newbies

Sorry to every one AF got.

Grandhigh fx I cant zoom in enough to see anything annoyingly.

Im only a few dpo if I ovulated so not much going on here!! Still exercising loads and eating salads etc trying to loose the weight gynae asked me to.

Gotta wait for AF then ive got a few more blood tests and hsg to book.

Cpt1sock · 04/07/2014 13:23

So sorry nordic try to be kind to yourself. We have no control of what happens when dtd is done. Your body isn't shit, you carried your ds yourself, that's amazing. Please don't be hard on yourself. Take a deep breath, give your kiddies a huge cuddle, try to focus on the good stuff for a little bit. Lots of love to you.

cinnamongreyhound · 04/07/2014 13:50

So sorry nordicmom :( I can't imagine how you feel after this amount of time but make sure you look after yourself!

That's pants Cpt1sock! I think I'd have cried too, so near by yet so far :( selling a house is a very stressful time and you're always reliant in others.

Lovely pick lindamagoo, I love scan pics they're so special!

lindamagoo · 04/07/2014 13:53

MrsE I had words with said doctor last week, there will be no presumption about age from that twat again Smile

Nordic I'm so sorry, everything you've been through, you deserve a bfp so much Sad

Nordicmom · 04/07/2014 14:09

Congrats on your scan Linda

MrsGingerbread · 04/07/2014 14:33

Hello!

Thanks for all the crossed fingers. They obviously worked!

My level is down to 15 :) That means that the hospital have discharged me and after while I stock up on iron and patiently wait for the August bus I should get my bfn. :)

Chinese for me tonight. Woohoo! :)

Sorry, I haven't read back, but I will later.

Nordicmom · 04/07/2014 14:56

Glad you are getting back to normal mrsgingerbread

notoasthere · 04/07/2014 15:48
