I couldn't resist the frer in the drawer this morning, despite the bad cramps and the blood stained cm. bfn of course. So I'm hoping af doesn't take too much longer to just fall out. I had this for 2 wks last month. I'm now on restricted painkillers so praying this isn't too painful. Blinking endomitriosis, you are a witch! Angry

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/07/2014 07:44

Morning everyone. Sorry for the BFN's this morning. Had one too but there was possibly all in my imagination I suspect another faint faint shadow of a line. So frustrating Angry, I am tempted to break out the FRER but reluctant to cause it is my last one and they cost too much to just see that solitary line on it as it seems such a waste. I do 'feel' pregnant but that's not reliable obviously Grin and still no sign of af so that's a good thing. I may pop to the shops and grab some superdrug tests or another FRER today in order to test later or with FMU tomorrow.

Cinnamon boo for bfn, when is af due?

TheGrandHighWitch · 03/07/2014 07:46

Sorry, welcome to Lucie and congrats on the wedding.

Grandhigh, yes get some different tests Grin

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/07/2014 07:51

Grand high I had some very confusing results on ics. I know some of you lot like them. But tbh im sticking with a frer. In the confirmation that if I get a line on there it must be a good strong positive. I went through a very confusing month with a line then not a line then a line again a few months ago. I think I'd rather not know about fading lines. It's so disheartening. Give it a few days and use it.

MrsGingerbread · 03/07/2014 07:56

waves

Sorry about this morning's bfns.

I'm back to the hospital today for a retest of my hcg. 29 last week, so fingers crossed it is lower. Apparently when it goes below 20 I can stop going. :) I've promised myself a lovely Chinese takeaway when that happens.

I am also popping iron like there's no tomorrow ready to get good and pregnant on the August bus. ;)

MrsExtraOrdinary · 03/07/2014 08:01

Mrs g I was thinking about you yesterday as my hair was momentarily fluffy! Wink It must be really frustrating for you Confused I'm quite familiar with bodies misbehaving myself so you have my complete sympathy.

hanflan · 03/07/2014 08:16

Awww hiiii kitty thanks for the shoutout! I'm doing great and so is my little bean (I hope?!). I'm 7 weeks now and still feeling alright! Only very slight waves of nausea so far :) hope you are well and hope you get your bfp this month!

Rainbow555 · 03/07/2014 08:21

Grand high grab a frer and test again! Fx the faint line is a stronger one!

lucieloos · 03/07/2014 08:22

Hi everyone, thanks for all the welcomes and wedding congrats ?? We have had an amazing time but we are on our last couple of days now. Would have loved a BFP whilst I was away but does not look like it is to be. Fingers crossed for everyone in July though. Will be checking in regularly to see how everyone is getting on ??????

EnglishGirlsReturned · 03/07/2014 08:53

Fx for the hcg test MrsG, hope it's finally down below 10 for you.
Think August bus is the earliest I'm likely to see a BFP too to be honest.

Welcome Lucie!

Fx Grand, sounds promising.

Finding hard to keep up now I'm back in the world of employment! So sorry if I miss any important news, I do try to keep up - I promise WinkSmile

spinningirl10 · 03/07/2014 08:56

MrsG fx your levels have dropped.

Lucie, where are you honeymooning?

Dp was shattered on return from night shift so he's sleeping! He won't escape me when he wakesWinkwant to catch the egg this month!

lucieloos · 03/07/2014 09:11

We have been to Thailand, it's been great, plenty of sun and relaxation! Not looking forward to going home soon Shock

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 09:16

How wonderful lucie

spinning I'm sure your dh won't mind being having to wake up and dtd, there's worse things to wake up too!

spinningirl10 · 03/07/2014 09:26

Haha notoast, I'm just hoping my students mum has gone out!! She likes to talk to me all the time if I'm at home and follows me around....I'll have to tell her I need to clean my bedroom, failing that it will have to be a quickie in the bathroom....oh the romanceGrin

Lucie, I love Thailand. One of the girls on the bus, Chandler lives over there but she's back in the UK for a little holiday at the moment. Enjoy your last days there.

sparkle17 · 03/07/2014 09:36

spinning Hope your dp is awake soon haha

grandhigh I reckon you should go get a frer today. Good luck.

mrsg hope your levels come down today. Chinese take sounds a great treat.

Starting on a good note for me I got my first flashing smiley, hopefully a solid one at the weekend.
We dtd last night, I felt strange and upset afterwards because I was worried that all his baby making juice falls right back out of me (sorry tmi) anyone else feel this way.

BrixtonBunny · 03/07/2014 09:47

Sparkle there are millions of sperm so some of them will be on their way! If you are worried try sticking your legs in the air or putting a cushion under your bum for a bit? I'm going to try using soft cups too, they are supposed to keep his swimmers going in the right direction! Fx for you x

hanflan · 03/07/2014 09:56

sparkle try not to worry about that. Millions of sperm get through the cervix within SECONDS so getting up straight away will not affect things! I always have to get up immediately to go for a wee (very prone to cystitis haha) and still managed to get a bfp so please don't fret. The swimmers get where they need to, that's what we are designed for :)

cinnamongreyhound · 03/07/2014 10:01

I've got a tesco one but I'm saving it for tomorrow notoasthere!

Wait until tomorrow TheGrandHighWitch if it's a faint line today should be good on a frer tomorrow!

It was due Monday spinningirl10!!! Ah the bathroom, the height of romance Wink

Good luck MrsGingerbread!

notoasthere · 03/07/2014 10:04

snorts spinning yes, you certainly don't need any spectators!

sparkle don't worry - I would prop my bum up after sex but it's not essential to a bfp x

MaMaPo · 03/07/2014 10:05

Hello all - welcome Lucie and congrats on the honeymoon. I'm in the southern hemisphere where it is FREEZING so some sunshine sounds just the ticket right now. (At least snuggling under the covers is cosy though.)

Boo to the BFNs. Boo I say.

So, no chance of a last go-for-it today after maybe ovulating yesterday - my husband is sick! Even though we're both keen to conceive again I just don't think he would be up for it. Oh well - fingers crossed something went well this month and here we go for a looooong wait.

Rainbow555 · 03/07/2014 10:14

mamapo where are you? I am in NZ and certainly is very cold right now! Duvet snuggling is good though!

sparkle you are not alone... This was/is my worry to, I stick my legs in the air after for as long as I can be bothered to but as I am usually on top (tmi!) it is prone to falling out after!! DH always says don't worry there are millions so,e will be there..and these lovely ladies say the same! Biologically it makes sense that even though some might come out the best are still in their starting their journey!
So we just have to trust in nature in guess!

Hope You find a quiet moment spinning!

FoscarC · 03/07/2014 10:35

sparkle, I used to stay in bed for a good 5 - 10 mins post dtd with my legs propped up against the wall and a cushion under my bum in order to keep everything shoved up inside me and heading in the right direction. Not sure if it helps in anyway. and enjoy your weekend away. Tour de France will be great. And I hope iv comes too.

Wineandchoccy, so sorry about the letter, that is really shitty.

Nordic, fx massively for you. I am still not sure what test you have been doing, but it sounds like there is still a possibility that you will get your bfp this month.

Tea, congrats on the job.

cpt good luck with house.

Broody, 12 weeks of bleeding sounds bloody awful. I am so sorry for you and hope you get your sticky bean very soon.

Roastpots Thank you. I am fine, and getting happier and less worried every day. DH has just been told he is probably going away again this weekend, which is not helping. I think living apart from him, being my first pg, and not having told anyone at all was making it hard. I went to see my sister and she kept giving me advice on getting pregnant and all i wanted to say was 'I am pregnant', but I couldn't. But we are absolutely over the moon and the more days that go by the more it seems to sink in and the happier I get. I am going to buy a journal this weekend.

notoast I completely understand how scary it must be. I still check my knickers every time i go to the loo still half expecting af to have arrived. It must be hard to stay calm, but it is normal.

tryinghard and cinnamon, sorry for your bfn. I know you are a while past ov now cinnamon, so it must be really frustrating. When is af actually due? And Trying, I think you should wait until the weekend and test again.

Grandhigh, get yourself to the shops and get a frer!!! It must be driving you crazy, that faint line.

Mrsginger, massive good luck for the hospital appt and I hope your levels have dropped. Must be really hard having to wait.

FoscarC · 03/07/2014 10:36

ov, not iv sparkle!!
