April TTC girls onwards to July! BFP's galore!

Hopefully this thread is as successful as our last with a big BFP bonanza!

No Ducky not yet :( I should ov on Sunday so tww starts next week! Woo!
And I'll have lots to keep my mind busy :)
It's DH's bday on the 28th! And oh my gosh It would be amazing to show him a bfp on his bday!! It'd be the best bday pressie ever! :) but I've got lots of organising to do and also try and get him a present. I've no idea what to get him tho!!

14 dpo and no sign of AF or bfp even with a cb! I feel like I've wasted a rennet getting the cb now! Has anyone else been 5 days late? I don't think I have before!

Ohhh I hate thinking of presents!!! Are you planning anythig special?

Must be so frustrating lil!!! If your 14dpo doesn't that mean AF would be due today? Fingers crossed it stays away!!!! How come your gp wouldn't test?

He's so fussy as well so present finding is 10 times harder!
Just having a BBQ but I've got the cake to get as well from Costco, n make sure I ask people to come! Lol!

Aw lilla must be so annoying! :( I completly know how u feel!! I was 5 days late on cycle 1 I think I was? Then next cycle I was 6 dad early! Ttc can be very stressful and frustrating time !

ttc is so frustrating you think you've got your body all worked out then it does something like af arriving latet . Think thats why its so frustrating we cant control it !!
I find getting presents for men so difficult !!

Oooh thanks girls - I might have to start the magnum trick - although most of the time we get DTD first thing in the morning, so would mean for breakfast - hmmm I think I am definitely ok with that!

Good luck Popple - I did the same thing in June, trying not to stress it too much so gave up on OPK's as they really were pushing me over the edge of stressville.

Poppey - it's just as frustrating (and annoying) when it arrives 6 days early! Damned body of mine.

How was the scan tori?

Hi Ladies!

I just had my first scan this morning!!! :) I'm very excited!
Everything is ok, and we saw the baby's heart !! Also got a small picture (can't really see anything on it anyway...lol)!
Doctor wants to see me in 2 weeks to date the baby, cause the pregnancy is still at the very beginning and he couldn't be very precise.
He gave me some drugs to stop my morning sickness, thank God!! Can't wait to try it!

steph thats amazing !! Was that privately ? Good luck tori . I am really happy today a bit too much I think its scaring people as yesterday I really thought I might kill someone ! Pregnancy hormones

I should be 6 weeks + 3 tori, but I definitely need to wait a few days to be totally sure. But I saw on Internet that you can only see the baby's heart around 6 weeks, so I must not be totally wrong ;)

Yes got totally mixed up what dpo I am!!!!! I'm actually 21 dpo

Amazing steph !!! I was scanned at what I thought was 6 weeks but she put me back to 5 weeks !! Could still see a heartbeat though , it really is amazing ! I am waiting until 12 weeks to put a better date on it so I just say I am 7-8 now !!

Steph that's amazing. I was scanned around that time, I was then scanned at 9 weeks and moved a couple of days forward and then moved forward again at 12 weeks

I can't wait to go back to the doctor in 2 weeks! I hope he won't put me back poppet, but that might actually be the case because usually 6 weeks is enough to date the baby (at leat that's what I though), so maybe my calculations are totally wrong ! Anyway, I'm relaxing a bit now! After this second scan, I'll have to wait until 12 weeks, like you Ducky :)

I don't know if u ladies know anything about deposits on rented places? The flat we left we had rented it and we left it In better condition than when we got it! But the landlord said he had to repaint the whole flat and so we are only getting £100 of our £600 deposit back! I thought deposit was only to do with damages? Any body have any idea?? :s

cupcake I do ! In our last place we HAD to pay to have, the flat professionally cleanned then it got checked which was fine but then the landlord said he had to replace all the carpets and wad charging us . We argued it for ages in the end we agreed to give him £50 and told him if he didnt take it we would take him to small claims court ,he took it .Defo worse arguing your case !!
Pregnant ladies can I ask a tmi question ...... increase i discharge around 7/8 weeks ?!

Your right as well it cant be for general wear and tear so you would expect a white wall to discolour over a number of years so he cant charge you just because your landlord wants new walls . Throw your weight around a bit that should scare your landlord ! Honestly Ive had so many arguments with landlords !!

Cupcake, is your deposit in the tenancy deposit scheme? If so go on their website and open a case.

Poppet (i think it was you that asked?), it's apparently called 'increased pregnancy discharge' or so my midwife said. apparently It's because your insides are constantly cleaning itself out to make it safe for the baby

Steph they told me that dating before 12 weeks was unreliable, they put me back at 6 weeks by 5 days (they said I was 6+2 and I thought I was 7) then at 9 week scan tey moved me 2 days behind what I thought I was then at 12 weeks they put me ahead of what I originally thought I was! Or something like that.

I got very faint positives on opks on two consecutive days and I thought you ov around 12 hours after a pos and couldn't get another positive after, so I dated after the second faint one. But it turns out I probably ov'd before both of them (i didn't test regularly enough and don't trust ic ov sticks!)

Cupcake threaten to contact your solicitor or take him to a small claims court. Or i have used this for other things before - tell him your brother is a lawyer and yourprevious landlord also tried to do this and was forced to pay the deposit back plus all legal costs involved. And you are very happy to go through this process again if he won't be truthful and give you your money back. They always seem to try and do that do renters.
