Here we go again!

feedmenow · 26/09/2006 13:57

Hi all. Anyone around out there? Am feeling a bit down today cos I am pretty sure I won't get a bfp due to 1st month ttc and having started ttc straight after having coil removed, and not really knowing my cycle. Like I've said before, part of me is really excited just "expecting" that it will happen straight away, but the rest of me is trying to keep my feet on the ground cos the chances are so slim. Funny really, cos I haven't thought about it much over the weekend and all of a sudden it's really playing on my mind.

cityangel · 26/09/2006 14:02

So have AF this morning. So I went from a 29 to 32 day cycle.
And BD at the wrong time so no chance anyway.
Still its early days and first month temping with new thermometer.
Thank you all for the kind words I shall now move over to join the Oct bunnies. Good luck Sept

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 14:17

Feedmenow - don't want to get your hopes up, but a friend of mine got pg quite quickly (I think within 2 months) of having a coil removed - after 10 years (2 coils?).

Not entirely sure of the details, but know it happened surprisingly quickly.

And if this isn't your month, I'm sure it soon will be

desperate2bmum · 26/09/2006 15:07

i am now bowing out of september and shuffling over to october...a/f arrived this morning!

good luck to everyone else testing!

andi0411 · 26/09/2006 18:47

I did it ladies I tested at tea time- after a day from hell -work wise- and bpf!!

Not as over-joyed as you might expect as the word 'scared' more describes my current state. Only took 3 months this time- not 10!! But like I have said on the other threads- 4th time lucky?

You know it seems to me that everytime I switch off and chill out and get a bloody cons appointment then my body behaves- there must be something in the stress thing- for me at least.

I did use grapefruit juice and watch my temps though if you look at them you'd be hard pressed to see when I ov'd as I took them over too wide a time range- idiot!!! i did get pos ov sticks on cd 14-17 ish and bd'ed alot over that time- legs up the bedroom wall after- what a sight!!! I did like the grapefruit juice- made me produce more ewcm- def.

I'm staying around- can't see myself as pg yet- too worried. thanks for all the pos vibes and good luck- I'll need it!!

Sticky stuff to all and good luck!!!!! x

DD1ofcolandgerry · 26/09/2006 18:50

fantastic news andi0411, hope its a sticky one for you,

dd1

Natty1806 · 26/09/2006 19:01

Big congrats from me and lots of sticky vibes

andi0411 · 26/09/2006 19:02

Thanks so much ladies- for the sticky stuff esp!! I think its the human equivalent of 'miracle' grow that I need.

Babymad4num3 · 26/09/2006 19:21

parrot1974 · 26/09/2006 21:06

Hi girls
Congratulations Andi - fingers (but not legs!) firmly crossed for u.
Currently on CD26 but not sure if I'm 11DPO or 15 DPO as Ovusoft chart keeps changing its mind on when I Od. Plus Hormone Forecaster disagreed again and came up with a completely different date. Anyone else had this?
Anyway, no sign of AF, cramping again, but not pre-AF cramps. Temps at 36.7, 0.3 above post-ov temps and CP still high and soft. Tummy very hard 4 last week. DH worried now as was getting hopes up. Can't even look forward to October till AF arrives

parrot1974 · 26/09/2006 21:10

p.s. HPT a BFN this
afternoon after DH bought some, hence black mood - sorry!

cityangel · 26/09/2006 21:49

Hey Parrot. I understand how you feel. Unfortunately I don't have Ovusoft experience, just experience of it being frustrating. From my personal experience the tools and predictions are helpful but we should relax and go for it despite what they may or may not tell us. I think its a good thing that your dh is involved getting tests and being worried its v. sweet. I wish you lots of luck and know its hard.

Andi, I am so excited for you. Sept has been a great month for some of us here's hoping for a the same in October. I am very with you on the nervous front. Reading some of the difficult miscarriage posts I see BFP as a step closer rather than job done. It's also a time to be excited knowing BFP can happen and hopefully everything else. GOod luck xxx

Happy last 4 days Sept girls

MrsMcJnr · 27/09/2006 10:09

Oh Andi, I am so, so delighted for you, I really am! Almost as happy as I would be if I got a BFP myself . I just knew you were different this cycle somehow!!! Your feelings are natural given what you've been through, I really hope that this one is a really sticky one and that we'll be hearing all about your big bump until end of May/June!! Glad to hear you're going to stick around, I'm going to miss you when you go! Legs in the air is going to be my November trick if I don't get my BFP in October!

MrsMcJnr · 27/09/2006 10:19

OK I'm up to speed now! Buffy and Parrot - welcome!

Well, am I right that Parrot, Buffy and Endless are our last Sept ladies? good luck and a sack load of babydust to each of you!

Buffy - congrats to you!!!! Still feel af could come too, we can only hope now.

I'll be having a scan at 6-7 weeks due to prev m/c and hope to see heart beat this time. Really don't know what I'll do if I don't.

Thanks everyone and good kuck- Im hanging about as too nervous to leave my lovely ladies yet. x

buffythenappyslayer · 27/09/2006 10:39

stopped thinking about it!dh has been working away and he came back mid cycle.af was 2nd sept,we bd'd on 16th,17th,19th,20th.

was so convinced that i wasnt going to get pg,but on saturday i felt soooo dizzy and sunday couldnt stop being sick.also got exptremely sore nipples (am bf dd still but have been ok up until a few days ago)nipples started hurting last week, and another friens of mine has just found out shes pg and that was one of her symptoms!

but the only thing ive done differently this month was to stop thinking about getting pg.i became so obsessed and it was all i could think about.

endlesslove · 27/09/2006 12:57

Hello all, Congrats to those with BFPs! You are so lucky and I hope that the next nine months is a winner for you girlies. Keep healthy and happy and try and relax. (I have never been pregnant so easy for me to say!!! )

Well I am CD 29 today. Last cycle ended on CD32 with AF but I have ovulated later this month. I ovulated on CD22 so am expecting a later cycle (hopefully a non-existent one with BFP!) I don't feel hopeful though. I just don't feel any different. My (.)(.)s are no bigger. The only thing I feel is achey dull tummy pain, bit like af but very very minor. So maybe af is on her way early!

Not many of us remaining hey! Good luck to those that are left. Think my cycle is longer than Sept so should really be in October but rather wait until I have to go over on Sunday 1st.

ShowOfHands · 27/09/2006 14:28

Andi!

I am so pleased for you!

I know what you mean about having a feeling about this month, I did too. And hey, I'm 6+6 and still hanging around in conception. Early scan next week, just praying that I see a heartbeat. Get rid of one set of worries, adopt another, huh?

Again, so pleased for you!

ShowOfHands · 27/09/2006 14:30

Buffy just seen your news too!

I got a faint bfp on a cheapy ebay test 5 days before af was due and was very crampy all that week. Did a First Response on day af was due and still bfp!

Congratulations!
