af is due on friday, but dont want to get my hopes up,so dont know when to test!!

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 10:49

i went out and bought a first reponse this morning.
POSITIVE!!!

buffythenappyslayer · 25/09/2006 10:51

congratulations!!

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 10:54

thank you, im so excited. if i can do it guys so can you! if it took a year frist time and 5 months second time i wonder what it will take to concieve no. 3???

babymad have you had consistently high temps since ov? i have! 36.8 or 36.9 for last week! (havent been monitering it before then. only started cos dp said it was like sleeping next to a radiator)

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 10:59

Congratulations Natty and Thomas

Really pleased for you.

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 11:00

NattyandThom- congrats to you on your BFP...wow, i am soooo chuffed for you!!!!
Can I ask a question- do you have to have high temps to be pg, what i mean is can you be pg if they drop after ov?

CONGRATULATIONS (said in sing song voice)!!!!!!!

Ps what cd were you on?

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 11:01

Juicy- how are you feeling? Daft question but I can't ask it in any other way....[[[[hugs]]

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:04

Hi Andi, still in a bit of a daze. It's really strange being this far away from my family at a time like this.

Still assuming my BFP will turn into another mc. Think that's probably down to my frame of mind at the moment, but am trying to pre-empt the disappointment IYKWIM.

Just have to take one day at a time.

How are you today?

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 11:05

cd32 of 35 i think. im an early bird hence faint line

im excited but terrifed at the same time! thomas is only 5 months and we didnt expect bfp till he was one as it took a year to fall last time. but i dont care! ive got 9 whole months to sort things (dragging dp down isle.. move to more than a 1 bedroom place etc)

andi0411 · 25/09/2006 11:15

Juicy- I do know what you mean about your pg turning into a mc- when I had my first I thought 'bad luck', my second I thought 'not again' and my 3rd I just lived for 10 weeks' sh++++g myself- but you know what- I'm doing it again and you've DONE IT!!! We can get through it and your frame of mind will most likely be down to your bereavement too- feeling so desperately unhappy combined with pg anxiety. All I can say is feel what you have to because you can't suppress grief but let yourself feel moments of happiness about the pg. I hope that makes sense at all. How do you feel in your pg- any symptoms etc?

NattyandThom- wow, early too you lucky girl. Lots to do and think about- how old are your other 2 kiddies? Do you have a supportive family. |V happy for you.

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 11:20

Think it's a combination of both. I think I will only start feeling pos once I get an early scan, which I plan to do around week 7/8.

No real symptoms yet, just tiredness. Can't remember when my boobs started hurting last time, but will just wait and see how it goes.

Babymad4num3 · 25/09/2006 13:01

NattyandThomas congratulations well done chick!!

Hi all

CONGRATULATIONS, to NattyandThomas on your BFP!!!

Just wanted to let you know how fed up I am! I am normally around 28-34 day cycles but more likely the upper end of 32. I ovulated on 20th Sept (last Wednesday) and I just don't feel any different. Is it true that you "just know" you are preggers? I just have no idea! I have not changed at all! Please tell me if I am being daft! If preggers, when should I notice a change?

Good luck to everyone in Sept thread - only a couple of days to go. (I did actually join the October thread but thought I'd jump back!)

Thanks

Juicylucythe2nd · 25/09/2006 13:33

Didn't really feel pg last week. Still don't feel pg this week. Just tired.

I'm sure my boobs started to hurt before I knew last time, but can't remember.

Some people have symtoms early on and others don't. Unfortunately no 2 pgs seem to be the same!

mummymelling · 25/09/2006 13:33

parrot1974 · 25/09/2006 17:02

Hi
Babymad4num3 AF was due on CD21, now on CD25. Am wondering if I Od on CD 14, not 10, but would still be expecting AF by now, as LP usually 11 days. Also usually have heavy spotting 3-4 days b4 AF, but nothing. Temps pre-ov were 37.2, post-ov. 37.4-37.5 and from Friday 37.6-37.9. Enormous boobs too. Thought I'd wait and re-test @ CD28 (never in my life had a cycle longer than that!).
Nattyandthomas, really big congratulations - hope we're all there soon.
ShowofHands - is that named after the band? Steve is a relation of mine.
Babydust to all.

cityangel · 25/09/2006 17:23

Second BFN this afternoon. No AF and CD32. I had all the classic OV signs 17 days ago. Am finding this all very frustrating.
Has anyone else got experience of not ovulating but still getting all the signs. Is this common?

NattyandThomas · 25/09/2006 17:29

i had no signs at all. like i said i nearly fell of the loo, i was in total shock.

aprilmeadow · 25/09/2006 20:01

Hi N&T just popped back in to see if you had had another bfp. So pleased for you . Do you have any idea what your EDD might be?

cityangel · 25/09/2006 23:10

Hey N&T thanks for your advice. I am so pleased for you

I would like to sound less negative. I am in an annoying place right now. Called Symptomless World! No AF pain, no pg symptoms, no OV symptoms... Still 2 BFNs and lots of patience in order I think. Being new to this it would be good to have at least a couple of predictable months! To set as a baseline. Right now I feel as sexy and fertile as a piece of cardboard!

NattyandThomas · 26/09/2006 10:52

lmao @ cityangel

ah cardboard can be sexy, its all about how you squint at it... lol! thanks for your congrats.

love to all

Juicylucythe2nd · 26/09/2006 11:43

Cityangel, know how frustrating it can be. You don't know whether you're coming or going. Everyone seems to get more of a handle on their bodies through temping, but I was just about to start that when I got my BFP, so don't know if it would have helped me.

I still don't really have any symptoms except tiredness and copious amounts of CM . Oh yes and stabby pains, which feel like they could be indigestion, so not exactly reassuring!

No sore boobs yet, which I'm sure I got early on last time.

Oh yes and the paranoia is back - in case you hadn't noticed LOL!
