Spotti, some pretty clear signs there. But do check your hay fever meds are OK for pregnancy, usually folks are advised to avoid them. Though docs will say take them any way!

Hi ladies Smile I have reached 10DPO with no AF! Yahoo! It's the first time in I don't know how long...my DH asked me this morning did I get AF & when I said no,..he smiled but I told him that it could just mean that my luteal phase has lenghtened Smile, which I am very pleased about! I just have to breathe & stay calm Smile xx

Tooth please don't worry...you have to believe all will be well...I know this is hard, but we all have no choice but to do that in life anyway...you will stress yourself out too much worrying...xx The clearblue digital time the pregnancy, as in 1-2 & 2-3 wks preg...you could try one of them to put your mind at ease...it will show a rising HCG.. I think that is how they must work

Gosh they are some spoilt & pampered looking cats! Smile

MrsGinger Oh I really hope all works out for you! Fx

Owlie I am sorry AF got you...((Hugs))

Flowerery Fx for a BFP! Oh the not knowing is difficult!

Spotti thank you for the Symptom stats xx Oh you must be so excited about tomorrow...I am so delighted for you!

Spinning I was 18 when my mum had my sister...I then went on to have my DS when I was 21! You are only as old as you feel! Wink xx I will POAS tomorrow morning with a FRER, but only if when I wake there is no AF! Who knows...it could come later Hmm nervous tbh! FX

Ladies, can I please borrow your eyes. These frers are 10 days apart. Can anyone see one being fainter or stronger than the other? Or do they look the same?

#ineedtogetagrip :)

Just about to jump on the bath and read back on everyone else's news. :)

Morning all

toothe I am keeping everything crossed for you. hope its the outcome we all want for you.

spotti love the list - thank you!

blueberry I am hopeful for you. Enjoy your haircut later!

laurano hope AF stays away. that's interesting re ovulating twice, perhaps I wasn't going mad after all.

I feel like we did everything we could this month - DH is so hopeful, I don't know how I'll tell him if it's not good news.

I'll post a pic of my little furbaby later - my pride and joy Smile

Rainbow555 · 14/06/2014 11:39

I would say the second one looks stronger maybe? What are you hoping them to be need to read back over all the posts

toothachereturns · 14/06/2014 11:58

I can't see the pics MrsG but if the 2nd one is stronger then that's quite exciting right? Smile

toothachereturns · 14/06/2014 12:30

Right... logged in thru my mobile site rather than the App and can see the photos. The one at the bottom is def stronger. Both are much stronger than my BFP!

lindamagoo · 14/06/2014 12:34

MrsG the bottom one is darker, this must be very confusing for you. I'm presuming/hoping that the bottom is the new one and it could possibly mean a new bean in the making?

angelaham · 14/06/2014 12:45

The bottom one looks darker Mrs G,

MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 12:45

Yes, the bottom one is today (11dpo) and the top one was only 2dpo (so clearly no bfp there - residual hormones).

Thank you ladies, I think it is stronger too. But no idea what that means. Obviously I hope for a new little bean or af for a new start. I really hope nothing nasty has retained from the mc. :(

Is it bloods I need? Anyone know if they would pick up a baby so early with a blood test?

Sorry for taking over the thread, I'm just so confused. :(

Treaclepie19 · 14/06/2014 12:47

Definitely stronger Mrsgingerbread, did you have a scan to see if all was clear?

lindamagoo · 14/06/2014 12:52

I would think if it's darker it's for a good reason, maybe do another on Monday and if it's darker again phone get an app with your gp and get some bloods done to check hcg levels

MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 12:57

Yes, scan showed no sign of pregnancy at 5+2 on 21st May.

Tis confusing!

Anyways, enough about me!

Spotti I love the symptoms memoir list. Thank you for those! !

Genni We want to see your furbaby too! We all have beautiful moggies. :)

tooth I really hope everything is okay. We all have ourfingers crossed for you.

Blueberry enjoy your haircut!

Laura fingers crossed for you today! !

MrsBeeBeeBee · 14/06/2014 13:08

Sending lots of hugs out to all the lovely ladies in here that need one.

tooth and ginger I'm keeping my fingers crossed for new healthy pregnancies for you both. Would be such wonderful news.

So sorry those who AF has arrived for, especially those long term TTC.

spotti your stats are interesting. I think, like mine, it really shows its the DTD up to ovulation that seems to be the way to do it.

Love all the cat pics, I have two fur babies too!

silverine · 14/06/2014 13:30

kurama love the pics!! Did you poas today?

laurano81 · 14/06/2014 13:36

Hi MrsGinger the bottom one defo looks darker to me...I read up about it for you, as I personally didn't know why you were still getting a positive after your MC...basically it said on several websites that:

(1) The level of hCG falls back down to zero over a period of days or weeks, depending on how far along the pregnancy was when the miscarriage happened.

(2)The median amount of time for hCG to disappear from the body is 19 days, but this can vary based on how high the hCG was at the time of the miscarriage. It can take just a few days to return to zero, such as with a chemical pregnancy, or well over a month with a later loss.

(3) Some pregnancy tests can detect even very low levels of hCG, taking a pregnancy test in the days or immediate weeks after your miscarriage can still show a positive.

(4) However, if it has been more than a couple of weeks since your miscarriage, you should call your doctor if you are still getting a positive pregnancy test.
-your doctor may want to monitor your hCG level with blood tests.
-there is a chance that there might still be pregnancy tissue in your uterus and you may need a D & C.

  • If you have been sexually active, it is also possible that you might be pregnant again xx

I hope this helps! x

laurano81 · 14/06/2014 13:50

Blueberry enjoy getting your hair done! Oh I love getting my hair done..pure bliss...I'm lucky my sis is a hairdresser, so she colours my hair for me...I'm growing my hair, so I am trying to keep away from the scissors! Grin...It has to grow another 8 inches to reach my bottom! Oh the things that make me happy Wink lol x I really hope you get a shiny BFP! xx

Geni I read this online Progesterone secretion from the corpus leuteum - a temporary hormone-producing gland that is formed at ovulation - may cause a surge in a reproductive hormone called luteinizing hormone

They is a lot of differing opinion about ovulating twice in one month...apparently it is widely accepted that this can occur in a 24 hour period...leading to fraternal twins...but not withing a few days of each other...I guess it is extremely rare, and there is a lot the docs still don't know about the menstrual cycle!

MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 14:02

Thanks laura the hormones can take a long time to leave the body. Good info. Looks like a trip to the hp for me on Monday (possibly unless af pops in the meantime, but by the songs of it best to get checked even then! )

50degreesintheshade · 14/06/2014 14:03

mrs gingerbread you need to go and see you gynae ( or perhaps your gp? Not sure how it works in the uk) and get a blood test to check your hcg level. Unfortunately I was dealing with rising and falling hcg levels for 6 months last year. It is very important to get it checked.

MrsGingerbread · 14/06/2014 14:16

Thanks 50 I really don't think a new pregnancy explains it. Something is amiss. I'll go on Monday. :)

laurano81 · 14/06/2014 14:45

Hi ladies TMI alert...I keep feeling like I'm leaking down there, when I check it is just clear cm...I am peeing loads too..I was preg with my DS 12 years ago..so I can't remember if I had that! I'm heading out for a walk to get my mind off it...it's glorious outside xx

silverine · 14/06/2014 15:09

Hi all
Frenetic hope your tests went well today! x
laura sounds promising - FX for poas tomorrow! we're due another bfp for the list Wink
toothache it's so frustrating, isn't it - I has early MC in March and even though I got a bfp the bfn and AF was 7 fays late, they still classed it as CP... Particularly as it would have been MC#3 and would have been entitled to some test... Are you poas again tomorrow? FX lines get stronger.
MrsG that's so confusing... sorry you're in limbo...
