Has everyone got nice, fun, relaxing weekends lined up? I thik we all deserve them. Though I have been up since 5am with my darling daughter and DH will be watching ALL football so it will be a long weekend for me!

CD32. Still no signs of pg or AF. Am rather starting to get my hopes up now, which could be quite silly. So hard not to though. Supposed to be wating until next weekend to test, doubt I'll manage that!

Everyone has such gorgeous and beautiful cats. I'm so envious. We've always said we'll have cats but everytime we think about it we seem to put ourselves off. DS now saying he wishes we had a pet at regular intervals. It's what to do with them when you go away that bothers me most. We do live on a main road too, but we have a big back garden that leads out to a much quieter road so I don't think it's really too much of an issue.

Morning ladies. poas just now and only a faint positive with a frer.... so it looks like my hormone levels are dropping. gutted. I will expect af tomorrow.

Actually..... comparing it to the one I did on Thurs am (11dpo) it's about the same. which still means my hormones arent climbing. I'm 13dpo now. I expected a big strong bfp that appears in seconds. is there still hope?

Lauren, my dd is 18 so if I get a bfp people will be shocked, they don't we're trying and will think I'm too old! The only person I told is my sister who I'm quite close to and even she said 'what at your age'!!

Ooh ovulating twice in one cycle sounds good, you get a second chance to catch that egg!

Thanks Kurama. Glad your wee cat came home. My dog was missing for 7 days once. We looked for him day and night and he was eventually found alive down a manhole near where he went missing! I didn't appreciate how much he meant to us all until that. x

Just to answer spinning no im not poas until at least I hit my normal cycle length day but last month it was a week late.

I know that its very unlikely I ovulated even with the symptoms as ive had some symptoms of ovulation before and its not happened.

I will read back when im on the computer

blueberry I can normally tell when I ovulate. Always around cd14 and I get ibs symptoms and a pain on one side. This has been backed uo by opks... EXCEPT last month when I did actually conceive. No symptoms... a weird opk results for the whole cycle. Your body can play tricks on you so fx for your bfp in a few days.

Had a lovely talk with DH last night. When we started TTC back in December, he was very much of the, if you want a baby we'll try (rather than I would like a baby too, if you see what I mean?)
Last night he said that he was starting to really hope for BFPs every month too, yes! Silver lining and all that

tooth - there is still hope, you are 11 and 13 days are both really early. Don't give up! Did you have a negative hpt after your loss? (I don't say this to make you worry - just in light of my current predicament!)

More confusion here, my af hasn't started yet (false start!) - and frer is still showing me as pregnant (residual). If I go to the doctor this week is he likely to do a blood test for me so I can know what is going on. (We have dtd, so a new pregnancy is technically possible, although obviously highly unlikely). Argh!

I can't see all these lovely cats on my phone app!

MrsG yes I got a negative confirmed by the hospital. So don't think it's residual.

yeah they should do. my gp offered me a blood test when i spoke to him after my bleeding first started. But then got a negative at the hospital a couple of days later. Chances are my hcg levels had already dropped significantly before I started bleeding. Even though I was nearly 5 weeks, the hospital still classed it as a cp.

Tooth, I found out CD. 35 last sat, they're were very faint...free is now as strong as control line a week later & ICS finally look like a line. This is today's xx

Oh tooth how frustrating! I think it's still possible things will be ok, keeping everything crossed for you.

AF arrived this morning bang on time as usual. I really don't think I can face cycle 13. We must be doing something wrong. I think I'm going to take a break from the buses, but good luck to everyone!

Oh owlie I'm so sorry to hear that af had turned up. :( I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong. If you need a break then off course that is understandable but please don't give up. We will all be here for you. Xx

Ok, so stats time... (It's gonna be a long one so grab a and get comfy!)

• OPK on cd15, assumed I OVed on cd 16. DTD cd 12,13,15,16, had planned to do 18 too but I think life got in the way.

SYMPTOMS

Hay fever has been playing up BIG TIME for the past 2-3 weeks. Been on 2/3 tablets a day (normally have to take tablets all year round as my allergy is to hay and straw dust...I have a horse so it pretty hard to escape this, hence the tablets). Normally only on one a day although I did go up to 2/3 a day around this time last year so the hay fever may not be a SYMPTOM at all . Tonsils have been feeling like they're the size of tennis balls, even after several tablets. No idea if that's relevant or just coincidence, but hey!

I had a really sharp pain around 6-7dpo on my right hand side, somewhere between my hip and the top of my pubic bone, but about the height of the middle of my hip (if that makes sense at all?!). Spent almost the whole day on the sofa curled up in a ball because every time I moved it hurt more! A nice warm (but not too hot) bath soothed it a little, but it soon came back once I got out.

Boobs have been steadily growing all month, seeming to go sideways more from around cd 15/16 (OV day) and then progressed to feeling like someone had packed them full of rocks! They are so heavy and tender (Barmy coined the phrase "boulder boobs" and I think that's a brilliant way to describe them!). Nipples have been sensitive and can be painful if caught but generally not been as sensitive in the same way as when AF is on her way. (OH doesn't know about SpottiBean yet, but he's been obsessed with my boobs for the past week or so and can't stop staring - I had to tell him yesterday that my face is up here ^ ).

I have been peeing LOADS since about 7dpo. One day is wear I peed over 20 times in one day...and 5 of those were before I could fall asleep (5 wees in an hour is not normal for me!). I've been counting since that day and generally peed an average of 13-16 times in a day...that's an average of almost one an hour!

Also been stupidly hungry. Not really felt the need to binge (like I do if AF is on her way), but just felt like whatever I've eaten is being digested really quickly and that I need to 'top up'. 4 meals a day has been the norm for a good week or so now .

I've been feeling the sudden urge to nap in the afternoon. I'm quite a good napper at the best of times, but my usual nap is around 45 mins and then I'm ok to get up and do stuff...not this time, it's been a minimum of 2 1/2 hours, and even then I've only made myself get up so that I'll manage to sleep at night. Oddly I've been sleeping a bit rubbish at night time - I did wonder if the afternoon naps were interfering with my 'proper' sleep pattern, but after a few days the insomnia (which was around OV) disappeared and I've slept ok again...still tired when I wake up, but I blame the 7 day a week 5am starts for that!

Talking of sleep - I've had some really weird dreams recently. One involved a sort of paintball challenge where there were two teams, but for some reason I wasn't on either team and they all decided to gang up on me! Oh, and it wasn't a paintball gun they had either...they were tazers (sp?)! Woke up just before I got zapped!
(OH says I've been talking in my sleep. Not done that in a while. SYMPTOM?)

Around 9/10dpo (cd25/26) I was drinking a chocolate milkshake (Nesquick) and could have sworn it tasted like mint aero...OH tried it and said it was fine but I swear it tasted different. Also started to think our toothpaste tasted funny the other day. Could have been because it's a different brand to the one we've had before, but it didn't even taste minty, just weird - my OH even asked me if I was ok because I kept making faces and having to spit more frequently than is normal.

Was seriously tempted to POAS after the weird tasting milkshake incident but I held off until yesterday (13dpo). Started with a 2.30am IC (in my defence I didn't know it was quite that early - I just knew that I didn't want to waste my FMU on POAS Friday, but I couldn't wait any longer to pee! Had to leave the stick until the morning though as I got too impatient and couldn't wait for 10 minutes, so I went back to bed and checked on it once I got up around 5ish (2 faint lines). Dropped OH off at work for 6 and then popped into Asda for a 'better' test. Peed another IC to begin with (didn't want to waste what I thought was a FRER just I case my sleepy eyes had imagined the earlier second line), but that came up with 2 lines - albeit faint ones ICs really are pants!, so I used to B&M cheapie I had in my draw, again 2 lines (even though this one was less sensitive at 20miu), and finally I dared to use the First Response One Step test from Asda (100miu according to google) and, well, you've heard my numpty story about having the test upside down and having a mini heart attack when I thought there were no lines AT ALL. BFP on the FR One Step.

And that's me.

Was really tempted to POAS again this morning, in case yesterday was a fluke (I know that's stupid but it seems quite surreal ATM) but I think I'm going to wait a few days and hope that my IC lines get darker.

Eeeeek. Giving OH his card tomorrow. Excited and really nervous at the same time!

Owlie, so sorry af has arrived. I'm sure you're not doing anything wrong it really is pot luck even if you do everything right, it's not easy. You will get your bfp when the time is right. I hope we see you back here soon, we're always here if you want to rant
