Threnody · 11/06/2014 09:58

Thanks bella
Congrats frenetic
Sorry AF got to you pickled and rainbow.

Cpt1 - got a babymad kit from Amazon which had bbt thermometer + opks and hpts.

Aprilray · 11/06/2014 10:04

Morning ladies,
AF got me this morning. Sorry she got you too Rainbow and Pickled. I'm gutted, really thought this was our month.
I am rooting for the rest of you - FX for the POAS party on Friday!

Rainbow555 · 11/06/2014 10:35

Thanks ladies..
Gah april sorry to hear the witch got you too! Seems we are having our kind of party...maybe that means we can all poas and have a bfp party at the same time next month...fx
Looks like a great ride spotti winter here so not done much riding lately... I do miss it!

FloweryBoots · 11/06/2014 10:58

Sorry Af came Rainbow and Pickle. Hot water bottles and warm baths for you Rainbow. Period pains suck big time.

Sounding promising spotti. If you don't get your BFP on Friday I'd say trip to the docs! And I guess 18.

CD29 today. Not doing so well at being relaxed and not thinking about it now!!! Might have a go at reasoning with/pursuadingbullying DH into agreeing we could test on Friday. Would be CD31. Last cycle 30 days, previous one 36 though. But I really think if I turn out not to be PG I'll be pretty pee'd off if I've not had beers with everyone at the weekend and then AF arrive after the weekend. And if it's +ve then I will be happy not to drink.

I wish this cold would naff off too. I'm either a moody cow because I'm under the weather and DDs coughing kept me up half the night, or I have PMT. Either way I am ready for DS to trundle off to pre school this afternoon and DD to have her nap so I don't have to deal with them for an hour or two. Not being the gretest Mummy this morning.

Stepawayfromthezebras · 11/06/2014 11:14

I've been stressing about my early ovulation today and obsessively googling - judging from my CB digi opk results from the last 3 cycles I ovulate around day 9/10 of a 27 day cycle so I've decided obviously the glass is half empty and I'm getting low egg reserves

Anyway, I found this link interesting. A BMJ article about the timing of the fertile window - worth keeping at it through the month! Smile

More than 70% of women are in their fertile window before day 10 or after day 17 of their menstrual cycle

There are few days of the menstrual cycle during which some women are not potentially fertile

FloweryBoots · 11/06/2014 12:19

Right. 1 child asleep, one at pre school. Phew. There is much sorting/tidying/cleaning/gardening etc. to be done. but just for a few minutes first, bring me up to speed on all the SYMPTOMS I should now be trying to spot since I can't POAS yet. I don't have any standard ones like tiredness (not sure I'd notice the difference)/sickness/peeing etc. but I know you ladies are tres knowledgable on all the more personal or unusal ones! I'm not aware of having had any particular symptoms with first 2 but I never paid any attneiton to CM or my cervix! With both others I felt like period was on it's way in the evening when it was due, expected it's arival over night, nothing in the morning so tested. Actually waited another few days with number 1, with number 2 it was all somewhat familar so tested that morning.

Can you tell I'm starting to obsess a bit, don't think I did this before. Where did all my relaxed 'oh it won't have worked this month, wrong lube. blah blah, roll on the next cycle' sentiments go?!!!

MrsGingerbread · 11/06/2014 12:25

Hello everyone.

Sorry to those of you got by the witch. :( Wine and Cake all round!!

I have brown cm/dc for the last couple of days (8 dpo today). No idea if that is exciting or not as apparently the first cycle a after a miscarriage all bets are off.

I have a question about ov. According to temping and cm I ovulated last Tuesday. However I still have two lines on a frer. Is that even possible? I would have thought pregnancy hormones world prevent ovulation altogether.

I also had cramps and ov bleeding 2 days after ov - is that too late to be ovulation bleeding? I've never had that before. Is it a regular thing for some of you?

Spotti lovely photo!! :D

Good luck everyone for Friday's party. Fingers crossed for you all! :D

hanflan · 11/06/2014 12:28

Mrs G You need to take another FRER in two days. If the line is darker, it is a new pregnancy! (V possible at 8dpo!) If the line is the same or paler then it will be residual from the mc. Fx!

MrsGingerbread · 11/06/2014 12:49

Hi hanflan I last did a frer at the weekend - so the line is definitely residual.

I'm just wondering if I can have ovulated with enough hormones to create a line.

Hmmm, this is confusing! I'm glad I did a frer though- otherwise I would have thought it was new when I tested in a few days (assuming the witch stays away! )

hanflan · 11/06/2014 12:58

Oh ok.... well in that case I am stumped! I also thought that the presence of hcg stops your cycle from continuing as normal. Strange!

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 13:03

I just got my gynae appointment through for end of June!!! For further fertility investigations, I wasn't expecting it until August! So that's good news! At least if no bfp this month I can get these tests done then get referred to fertility clinic! Sorry very self indulgent post just had to share!!!!! :)

FloweryBoots · 11/06/2014 13:11

Great news Mam. Hope they are as swift with tests and results (if required).

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 13:16

I don't even know what they will do on Initial appointment, bit nervous!

xBlueberry88x · 11/06/2014 13:40

Mama Glad the appointment came earlier, mines on the 19th so i can let you know what it entails. The letter I got said they will do scans and internal checks.

After the electrical like pains in my belly yesterday and the mega tiredness yesterday and today plus my belly feels bloated today my skins been greasy and so has my hair im getting my hopes up.

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine im stuck in the office but i can see it lol.

Mam31 · 11/06/2014 14:34

Thanks Blue, all my letter said was ring to arrange appointment which I did. But they are sending me another letter so maybe that will have some details.

Have tiny bit of light brown spotting at C only. But I'd say that's me out! Af due sat! Guess I should be glad the spotting is less and I have a date for my appointment.....every cloud.....

EnglishGirlsReturned · 11/06/2014 15:11

Hi ladies, just thought I'd pop in and let you know that my scan didn't go to plan today, I will miscarry soon. My pregnancy sac has grown since last scan but not enough and it's empty.
Procedure says I have to wait another week and be rescanned, then they'll get an erpc sorted for me if I don't start to lose it naturally. I'm so upset and feel such a failure.
No doubt I'll be back amongst you lot soon enough but I do think I'll take a step away for a bit. You were all so supportive while I was TTC.

EnglishGirlsReturned · 11/06/2014 15:12

Glad you finally have your referral Mama!! Smile

MiniLop · 11/06/2014 15:42

English, I am so so sorry to hear that. Lots of (((hugs))) for you. You are absolutely not a failure.

Spotti · 11/06/2014 16:21

Big squeeze for english. I know that doesn't really help in anyway but I don't know what else to do. I hope you take good care of yourself, and if you decide to come back, I'll save you a seat and some big fat gooey chocolate fudge cake xxx

Spotti · 11/06/2014 16:24

blueberry - they're lovely at this time year, but come winter, THAT'S when the hard work begins still not 100% what I'm planning on doing re:managing my dog(s) and my pony once I'm heavily pregnant/have screaming little one at foot!

Wouldn't swap them for the world though!
