Kitty one of my only pregnancy symptoms was incredibly painful nipples/boobs.
I was sure I wasnt pregnant and was ready to go to the doctors with them. I had to wear no bra every evening.

Mam31 · 09/06/2014 19:22

Sorry nordic for af arrival.

Kitty I've read lots of ladies talk of sore nips then get a bfp so I think it is a good sign.

I was however getting a bit excited at my lack of sore boobs as this usually means af on the way when they become sore. But then I read that a no salt, low fat diet helps with pre af sore boobs... and that is the diet I've been on!!! Excitement over!

Spotti · 09/06/2014 19:23

Treacle I think the only stuff you've really missed today is me rambling and ranting! I've promised to stop for a bit though now (but couldn't resist posting a reply to you) and I'm going to concentrate some more on being productive stupid bloody website builder thing - why can't you just cooperate and do what i want?!

...as you can see, I'm doing really well Grin

Mam31 · 09/06/2014 19:25

Oh and found other things that help sore boobs, no caffeine and lots of exercise....and wouldn't you know I've stopped drinking coffee this last 2 wks and have been exercising alot! typical! Pah!!!

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2014 19:38

Haha sounds good Spotti! Well I've just awoken from a nap... apparently I feel asleep after I'd eaten dinner.

How odd.
I hope your website builder cooperates. My DH is a computer programmer so I don't have to deal with things like that haha.

laurano81 · 09/06/2014 19:47

wine the Costa del sol sounds fab! Oh how lush Smile! Plenty of S, S & S! Wink x

Treaclepie continued (((Hugs))) & rant away! We all will at some stage Smile

Spotti hang in there Grin ! I know how hard it is...nothing worse than a false negative... You are better off waiting until Friday! It won't be long coming..Fx for a shiny BFP x

Threnody · 09/06/2014 19:48

Sorry AF has arrived Nordic.

Spotti - good job on keeping away from the sticks - I'm being tempted already at only 4dpo! Hope website hasn't hurt your brain too much - I spent most of today planning a new site, and now I need a nap.

Hi Sunshine

KittyVonCatsington · 09/06/2014 19:51

Thanks ladies! Just a bit worried my boobs aren't sore all the time (I am crazy-why do I want to wish for constant agony??!!)

laurano81 · 09/06/2014 19:55

Welcome cpt1sock .,..my DS is 11 since January so I also will have a big age gap. I thought he would have a sibling before Christmas this year, but at this rate I will be happy with being pregnant at Christmas xx

blueberry I have also felt very light headed today...I have no energy & my body feels heavy...could be due to my low ferritin...but I found work torture today...I simply felt shattered. xx I hope you feel better x

aprilray fingers crossed for a shiny BFP! x

Nordic I am so sorry AF arrived..oh I hope you are ok..take care of yourself...xx

angelaham · 09/06/2014 20:01

Last night when i went to bed and all today my stomach has felt really crampy, my head has been sore, took paracetamol but it done nothing, My period is due next Tuesday and normally i don't get any cramps or headache until the day before AF is due just after i ovulated last week my boobs were very sensitive and sore, that has now gone, one minute i'm convinced i'm pregnant the other i'm not, this TTC really messes with your head!!!!

laurano81 · 09/06/2014 20:09

Kitty I have read that sore breasts is from the progesterone surge after ovulation..so therefore ovulation has occured...oh there is so much info & differing opinion...it is mind boggling at times..I say trust your gut! You know your own body.. Pregnancy symptoms & AF symptoms are remarkably alike so it is difficult to determine one from the other...my breasts get sore normally just before AF, so FX it is a good sign for you xx Last month I spent so much time feeling my boobs to check if they were sore! Madness! hehe my DH was amused though! Smile x

Mam31 I cut out caffeine as well about two months ago...I had terrible headaches at the start, but I don't miss it now Smile...I still love chocolate! I refuse to give that up Grin !

treaclepie there is nothing nicer than a nap! Oh you are giving me notions! Wink x

Welcome sunshine x

Nordicmom · 09/06/2014 20:15

I've still got the cb test from late last week in my bedside drawer with a faint but very clear plus on it . Kills me to look at it but haven't managed to throw it away yet... This just keeps on happening to me . I seem to have a problem with implantation or a bit after...

laurano81 · 09/06/2014 20:15

Kitty Fx it's a good sign for you because you have had sore boobs early on in the luteal phase..x just clarifying my brain sometimes races ahead!

I am 5dpo..temp dipped this morning, hopefully it will rise again tomorrow..I have no symptoms except for utter exhaustion...but that could be my low ferritin! Hmm..I do have lots of Creamy CM again today.. I feel very bloated, but I am taking Iron tabs!

Oh Nordic I feel the same every month! On the plus side, we are ovulating! Hurray for that! (((HUGS)))

Angelaham I agree TTC is very stressful at times. I have to say being on this bus had really made me feel better! I don't feel so alone x I appreciate everyones support Thanks x

KittyVonCatsington · 09/06/2014 20:25

Thanks lauran I guess I'm obsessing as I've never had sore boobs before AF, although I didn't get them before early mc either. Hmmmm. I neeeeed to stop symptom spotting when will I ever learn

At my school staff briefing this morning, 6 maternity leave adverts were announced, cover needed to start ranging from this Sept to January 2015. Someone quipped in the staff room "wouldn't have wanted to be the 6th person to tell the Headmaster they were pregnant" - I sooooo want to be the 7th person but dreading the inevitable "sigh" from him too he is actually a lovely guy . There were lots of "something in the water" comment too. Wonder if any of them are Mumsnetters Grin

10 dpo. Counting down the days......

Treaclepie19 · 09/06/2014 20:27

Oh my gosh kitty, six!

The nap was glorious haha. Feel rotten now though!

Thanks all for letting me moan :)

Nordicmom · 09/06/2014 20:32

So that's 3 chemicals of 7 cycles for me now then. On top off what I've been through before I've kinda bloody had enough.

MrsGingerbread · 09/06/2014 20:33

Hello,

Tentatively hopping back on the bus after my miscarriage last month.

This cycle seems all kind of bonkers, with spotting and a positive frer still showing from previous conception.

But we have DTD!! Which technically means I could be pregnant. (No idea of I can have ovulated with bfp still showing, but my graph went up, so I am going with it! )

So, knowing that poas won't tell me in a couple of weeks I am going to share my daily random symptom as a game to myself until everything settles down again. :)

Today my bra straps are hurting my shoulders and have made pink marks. Clearly a SYMPTOM!

Rainbow555 · 09/06/2014 20:33

Hi to the new passengers and sorry to those af has got! Think the witch might finally be arriving for me..starting to get cramps and have headaches...just want to get it over with so can get on with this months DTD!
Sorry some of you are having a tough time
kitty..that would be hard to hear! Hopefully you will be the next person! Fx for you!

angelaham · 09/06/2014 20:33

Yes Lauran your right, being on this bus is really helpful as you don't want to let close family and friends know that you are TTC as they will probably keep on asking if you have fallen yet?, its also good to come here to share experiences with others that are going through the same as you x

gennibugs · 09/06/2014 20:38

Evening all

I am symptom spotting at 1dpo. Someone slap me please!

Sorry some of you are going through the mill at the mo - unmumnetty hugs to those that need it from me.

Ive said it before and I'll say it again -ttc is emotionally exhausting and draining. We all need to take care ourselves during this time.

spinning my DH sounds similar to yours - he's convinced I must be pg this month as we've had such a text book run of ov and DtD etc.
Not sure how il break to to him if I'm not....

xBlueberry88x · 09/06/2014 20:46

gennie slappp lol 1 dpo is wayyy to early not that I can talk

kitty I hope its a symptom at least it'll be worth it. Im expecting to have a painful pregnancy if I ever get one but im still wishing for it

Welcome back mrsginger

nordic sorry your having a really hard time at the moment.

Welcome misty

Im laying in bed already might go to sleep im wiped

KittyVonCatsington · 09/06/2014 20:50

So sorry Nordic - I didn't realise you got a BFP before you AF-how heart wrenching. Lots of hugs and take all the time you need Thanks

bellaboo88 · 09/06/2014 21:01

Hi ladies, not leaving the bus yet! Just to remind you all my bfp came the day of missed period on cd34 so deffo no point in me testing earlier!

My symptoms were windy bottom, high hard cervix & wierd cramps. Honestly thought I hadn't ovulated! ICS are useless, today's was still a squinter!

Even now only thing I can add is sore boobs, not the nipple but like round the sides. Would be interesting if they grew as I'm plastic fantastic & big enough!

No peeing early ladies, waste of time!! Xx
