Hmmm, never been on the pill so not that but am on those pregnacare pills so will stop them and stick to folic acid only as that is the only thing that's different this month from last, thanks all! X

1moretime · 16/06/2014 19:11

Teejay...sorry AF got you hun..best of luck next cycle.

Angels all the best for when you decide to ttc again hun.

Newbie its possible it could be implantation bleeding hun.

Good luck Emma how many dpo are you?

newbie6 · 16/06/2014 21:53

Think I'm ok, def have a period now, it's not as heavy as normal but seems more normal so weirdly I'm relieved as was beginning to panic thinking my cycle was going weird and that may scupper any chances of pregnancy ...... I'm such a stress head! X

Emma1109 · 16/06/2014 22:35

Onemoretime.
Not 100% sure tbh. Had worked out that I would ov on the 31st but then got +ve ov test on 6th but had 2 days of spotting in between then thought af had turned up at the beginning of the week for it to turn to nothing. Now I am scared to get my hopes up. Confused Nightmare xx

newbie6 · 16/06/2014 22:59

Emma, trust me I'm now an expert on implantation bleeding and from what you are saying, sounds like you could have had it so fingers crossed for you! X

pinpan · 17/06/2014 01:34

I'm probably 7-12 dpo - don't know exactly as I'm not doing any kind of tracking. Been mega grumpy/teary for a couple of days and have other preggo/pmt symptoms which could go either way, so I'm just trying to ignore it and tell myself it's all pmt. No testing until at least Friday, I promise. Grin

1moretime · 17/06/2014 06:18

FertilityFriend.com/home/1fbbef/ My chart at 14dpo.

Hey it does sound like possible implantation Emma fingers crossed hun.

Sorry about af newbie but at least you know where yoi are.

Not long now pinpan iv been grumpyish....well irritated to be honest. Lol.
My boobs feel heavy..one more than the other Hmm
Haha. Im 14dpo today & temp rose up a little again.
Im trying not to get my hopes up because i have read a few posts where the temp keeps going up then comes crashing down the day after & af arrives!
I will be keeping my fingers, toes & eyes crossed for us all getting bfp soon Grin x

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 08:13

Morning all! Sorry to everyone that has gotten AF. I was totally miserable about it so I feel for you all. But back to DTD and fingers crossed for me now! Tomorrow is the day I am supposed to start using the new clearblue dual hormone opks. I'm a bit worried that they are really fancy and complicated! I can't remember who sorry, but someone else had bought them, what are they like?
Also what are all us BFNers doing? Carrying on the thread into our next attempt? Would be nice if we could. There's only so many times I feel like I can obsess to my husband before he's irritated! He doesn't get it at all! He just assumes that we will be pregnant every month because it's 'so easy to get pregnant we have to do it soon'! Hmm

AngelsInWinter · 17/06/2014 08:17

Oh its really not that easy is it?!

Definitely AF for me - its now heavy, bright red and I've got nasty cramps (all totally normal for me!).

Hopefully it will be my fellow tww-ers' turn soon xx

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 08:20

Also I thought that to be able to get pregnant your luteal phase has to be at least 10 days long and ONLY JUST NOW(!!) I read it's actually meant to be 14. I start spotting on 12dpo. Is this likely to be a problem? If it is I don't want to waste anymore time and get back to the doctor!

pinpan · 17/06/2014 08:26

RedBunny, wikipedia (that well known source of correctness Grin) says luteal phases are 10-16 days and less than 12 may be a problem, so you're probably okay.

I'm feeling PMTish today. Hey ho. Yes, let's carry on the thread until we've all made it (or at least for a while longer!).

ladyflower23 · 17/06/2014 08:29

Morning all.
FX to all of you waiting to test. Although v disappointed it hasn't worked, am just glad the 2ww is over, I just can't cope with it!! Although AF is depressing, it does feel like the only time of the month now that I am now stressing about what's going on! Glad AF is seeming more normal for you now Newbie. You don't need to have that to worry about on top of ov, fertilization and implantation!
Redbunny, I bought the fancy dual hormone OPK. It was easy to use, but make sure you wee on it enough otherwise it doesn't work and you've wasted a very expensive stick (that's what I did!). The good thing is there is no squinting at lines and you get more warning for DTD. I have almost run out of sticks and it seems you can't reorder when you run out so I think you have to buy the whole thing again, so going to buy some cheapies for this time and see how I get on with those.
I think us BFNers should stick together for POAS support next time round. Can't wait for AF to finish so I get going on the OPKs Grin

ladyflower23 · 17/06/2014 08:34

Hi Redbuny I just crossed posts with you. Very weirdly I started a thread on here this morning about short LPs and asking for advice as mine is only 10! I got pg OK with it last time (although supplementing with B COmplex - not sure whether that's what made it happen or not). Am currently faffing over whether or not to take them again this time. Don't think my doc will be interested, so haven't asked!

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 08:47

Yeah I am so so worried about my progesterone being low which will cause another miscarriage, just because I know two other people that had three miscarriages and then got given progesterone and carried to term. It seems to be the most common problem and very easily fixed but they don't want to test until you've had three, but I really don't think I can have another. It was such a hard time the last one. I wonder if I go to the doctor as soon as I get a BFP and cry and ask and really make a big deal about it they will test it for me...?? Don't know. I am so desperate to get pregnant again but so so scared of another miscarriage.
Actually no, Im scared of another missed miscarriage.

ladyflower23 · 17/06/2014 09:04

Redbunny, you sound so stressed, I think you should go and talk to your dr now and explain your fears. If you explain how traumatised you feel by what has happened to you and the stress that you are feeling over it happening again they might agree to prescribing it as soon as you get your next BFP. You can then carry on TTC knowing that something will be done next time. You could at least ask that they test your levels when next BFP and prescribe if necessary. Have been lucky enough not to have experienced a MC, but imagine it is one of the most horrendous things a woman can go through Sad x

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 09:50

Well when I went last week the doctor said I could go for a hormone panel or day 21 test but he thought it was very unlikely to be a problem with that. We then quickly moved on to another issue and my daughter was playing up so I didn't really ask him to elaborate and now wish I had. Anyone know what this day 21 test is? Like should I just call up and book in with the nurse to have one anyway then?

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 09:52

Never mind I just googled and it said that it's a test to see if you ovulated. Which I know I do. So I shall not be going for that then!

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 09:55

I think when I get a BFP I shall definitely go right away to see a doctor. But I will only make an appointment with one of the nice ones!! I will just ask for then to test it for me and explain how stressful it is. And then if they don't help me I will just ask how risky it might be to order progesterone cream off the internet!!
Thanks Ladyflower.x

pinpan · 17/06/2014 10:11

Choosing a nice Dr and going along sounds like a good plan. Cake

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 11:59

Thanks pinpan. So are you planning on testing Friday?

newbie6 · 17/06/2014 12:30

Hi

I've bought the dual hormone CB also, not tried it yet but will let u know what I think! Good luck to those starting their 2 ww again! X

1moretime · 17/06/2014 13:55

Hi just a quick update.
Im 14dpo & af due tomoz...my cramps i have had on & off have now gone...still have sore boobs & strange taste..not metalic as they say but def strange.
Im gona pick some tests up tonight after work...shall i do one ltr? Or wait until tomorrow, or am i best waiting until Thurs is af dont arrive tomorrow?
Tested at 12dpo bfn. X
Good luck to everyone xx

newbie6 · 17/06/2014 14:15

Hi 1moretime, they tend to say first morning pee is best if testing but the sensitive preg tests are good so you probably could test tonight? There's a good website called countdown to pregnancy and if you input your dates it basically tells you when you should test? Good luck either way! X

RedBunny · 17/06/2014 15:44

In my last two pregnancies I got BFPs at 13dpo with first response in the evening. But I don't know, maybe you drink loads and need to wait til morning?!

ladyflower23 · 17/06/2014 17:15

If you can wait till Thurs I would say do that
. A bfn is always worse when you test a day early then get af a day later right on cue!
