Ahh, I know, I know. But the thing is I HATE being centre of attention and they'll all be asking why I'm not drinking. Plus it's not much fun being sober while everyone else is drunk.

Superdrug always seem to have offers on! Only problem is I've pretty much wiped out my main account putting everything into savings in the event that we'd need a new car or a second car for DP (fourth baby!). So I'm really having to cut back on unnecessary spending!

TerrysNo2 · 11/06/2014 15:33

Hi all, I've been lurking for a few days and thinking about joining you. And here I am. I have a DS (5.5) and a DD (2.5) and DH and I have just agreed that we would like to try for a third.

DS was an unexpected surprise as we weren't trying. I charted for DD using Fertility Friend and it took about 5 months (including an early MC). I charted then by taking my temp, OPK's, checking that lovely CM and by checking my cervix. This time I want to have a couple of months of casually trying, if there is such a thing (basically not setting an alarm at 6.30 every morning to take my temp!) before my inner control freak takes over.

I still haven't had an AF since coming off the pill so waiting for that to see if I can see what my cycles are.

So hello :)

AngelsInWinter · 11/06/2014 15:37

Hey Terrys :)

When did you come off the pill? I'm rubbish at casual trying!

Xx

ClaireF2013 · 11/06/2014 15:41

I can't do casual trying-I wish I could!! It's all or nothing with me! I wish I could relax about it!

TerrysNo2 · 11/06/2014 15:47

Angels I think I stopped the pill about 4 weeks ago - can't quite remember, just decided not to start a new pack. You can see how good I am at casual trying - I'm on here!

I've just been reading back on the last few pages and fruity whilst I am also in awe of your patience, I can totally understand what you mean about not testing, hope is a wonderful thing!

Claire I don't think you can get a false positive, and I think evap lines wouldn't show in 10 mins. Fingers crossed for you.

Fruityb · 11/06/2014 16:36

I'm like the zen master lol! Feel like Manny in black books when he eats the little book of calm.

I'm dying to test but want to hold out and make sure the hormones are in there. A BFN would dent my confidence something rotten!

AngelsInWinter · 11/06/2014 16:59

Fruityb I totally understand. I've felt CRAP all day after my bfn this morning. Xx

Fruityb · 11/06/2014 17:06

It's not over till AF comes and I've read so many stories of negatives for ages then BFP comes through eventually.

blankfornames · 11/06/2014 17:25

Fruity, I feel a little like yourself in that I'm going to test day after AF is due. If there's going to be two lines, I want it to be two clear lines...not wondering if it's a second line or not! I was (stupidly!) doing some google imaging of pregnancy tests the day after AF is due and the lines are so much clearer than a few days before.

Can someone please remind me what an evap line is? I googled it, but explanations aren't very clear!

RedBunny · 11/06/2014 17:37

I had some evap lines last month on internet cheap strips. It was like where the urine went over the area that shows up if positive and when it dries that area is sort of... "Highlighted" by it. But evap lines are not meant to be the correct colour. Mine were kind of grey on blue dye tests. And I think they are way more common on blue dye tests and after the time limit is up.

blankfornames · 11/06/2014 17:52

Ah, ok, I've had those on a couple of opks. Thanks Redbunny. You ok?

Emma1109 · 11/06/2014 18:30

Aw I hope everyone else is having a better time understanding their body! Woke up this morning with what definitely looked like the start of a period (not hundreds but enough to make you think yup this time tomrrowHmm) but it's since stopped. This morning I had accepted that af was coming but now I can't help but hope, even if it is really unrealistic. Thing is af isn't due for at least another week. Sometimes hate being a girl xx

Birdtable · 11/06/2014 19:01

Emma I had that on 8dpo and 9dpo but non yesterday or today (10/11dpo)!! So confusing! I thought it might be implantation bleeding but I did a test and got a bfn Sad just hoping it's too early to show up even though I used a first response test

RedBunny · 11/06/2014 19:04

Yeah I'm ok thanks blank! Are you doing ok? I had that weird spotting yesterday and thought it was AF early but no. Gone again! I'm not particularly worried right now, I'm sure AF will show up tomorrow but it's just a bit annoying to have all these random things go on with your own body and not really know what they are.

Hibou7688 · 11/06/2014 19:04

Hey Emma and bird table, I'm the same. I'm on 9/10 dpo..af not due for a week, for the last four days I've been having some browny didcharge, was only a tiny amount but today is a bit more. Af never starts this way, no other symptoms of a for otherwise! What is my body doing to me!!

AngelsInWinter · 11/06/2014 19:07

Sounds like it could be an implantation bleed girls! And bird table that is surely too early to test?! There may still be hope xx

Hi hibou, it's so confusing! Af never starts this way either so it's very hard not to think "gosh I must be pregnant" but then I have had negative poas results!
It doesn't seam fair that something as natural as having children can be so difficult!! Having a but if a bad day with it all really Sad

Hibou7688 · 11/06/2014 19:10

P.s congrats rose!! Why not do another on Friday just for fun!!

Birdtable · 11/06/2014 19:12

On and off for 5 years. This is cycle 2 of "trying" this time. Various medication meant we had to start and stop over the years.

Birdtable · 11/06/2014 19:13

Wow congrats rose!! So exciting!!

AngelsInWinter · 11/06/2014 19:24

Birdtable - me too. I've felt really down in the dumps today and wish I'd never tested. But then it could be a hormonal bad mood!

Congrats rose! Xx
