Morning, well, we DTD last night and I got pink CM afterwards and this morning. I'm not getting excited as I'm in a foul mood and want to cry, so I'd bet next month's wages that AF will show up today, three days early too. That would make my LP only 11 days, which worries me slightly. Plus, DP only had his reversal 3 months ago, but he has been discharged by specialist after only the first sperm analysis, it's motile, the op has worked, and the first result brought back an analysis of 4.4 million, so compared to a 'normal' count, it's still on the low side, but....it's worked!! As I'm 35, I know that it's not guaranteed to happen, and it certainly won't happen overnight.
Anyhow, about the digital ov tests. I've used them for the first time this month and I found them to be really easy to use. Lill, I assume that if you usually have a 31 day cycle, that it tells you on that table thingy on the leaflet to test at CD 14, mine is usually a 27 day cycle, with a three day period, so from CD1 to CD3 I bleed, then do nothing until CD 7, which is when it tells me to start doing my FMUs and POASING, last month, there was 3 empty circles ( low fertility) then 4 flashing smileys (high fertility) then two days of static smiley ( my 2 days, 48 hours of peak fertility).
I just try and ensure that we DTD at least every other day from CD 7 to CD 16. Lill, there's nothing stopping you contacting CB, or even testing slightly earlier, if you get on the trial then you could use that as an opportunity to start testing early without having to spend over £50 buying more sticks!! I agree with what MrsPopple says to do, no harm in testing early.
I started with a BBT two weeks ago and I've found it a nightmare, do any of you temp? Is orally the best way? I seem to be struggling to get the hang of it, any advice?
