Here we go again ladies...

Hi ladies, I haven't been on the thread for ages as sometimes too much analysing just stresses me out! I'm now on to the business part of my cycle (at least I think I am - only on cycle 2 of ttc so not totally sure) - it's CD18 and I think my cycle is 37 days, so expecting BFP/AF on the 21st and ovulation to be around the 7th. DH and I have been dtd every other day since last Wednesday and will continue until next Wednesday ... figure if we do that (which is a LOT more than the amount we usually dtd!) then we hopefully have the best chance! x

Haha I know, the first bit where you're on AF and just after is just boring though, I can feel myself falling into that awful trap already where DH suggests dtd and I think nah what's the point, it's not the right time! At least now at the 'business end' I feel like we're doing it with a purpose!

Me I am the same I think its an easy trap to fall in to .Poor husbands !! But then you never know when it could happen so all shagging is good shagging !!

I got my pack sent to me today. They contact you within a few days, you do an eligibility test over the phone, send you a consent form to send back, when they get that they give you a quick medical questionnaire over the phone them send you the stuff. It's all free and the stuff you send back to them is all freepost. If you conceive within the study, they reward you with some high street vouchers. I'm just on my way back home from a meeting but I'll update you all later, my DP has texted to say there's loads of stuff, including free HPTs. There's more info on the CB website. Seems worth doing if you're using OPKs x

Hi all, thanks Hull for info on the clearblue trial page - I have just completed the form - makes sense as it may help to get a result we all want and we get free stuff!! :-) Af finished and dp due home from working away tomorrow so looking forward to jumping on him! Think he will be away again though for time of ov so I might already be ruling myself out of june!! x

Yes, certainly is Kato!! It was only about 8 to 10 days ago. Once they've called you it all happens really quickly , you'll get a text saying they'll call you on a 01234 code number, think they're based in Bedford, the clinical trials company is called SPD who are on behalf of CB as I think CB are American. The lady is called Raffalella

They want me to start on the first day of next AF, assuming it comes, which I think it will this month, they'll make sure you get the kit next time. She only rang me yesterday to to the medical interview and it came this morning, luckily DP has a day off today

Well still not sore boobs here but I do feel bloated and af should be here thurs (still being optimistic that my body is going for a 28day cycle this month again) still told DH we have to carry on dtd just in case it's going to be along one!

I'm back from London and looking at all the stuff as we speak, it will involve taking daily urine samples, it's all pretty self explanatory, you have to complete an intercourse diary ( now known as "business diary" ) from an earlier comment that made me laugh, but tbh if you're like me and charts on Fertility Friend, then it won't be any major hassle, it's also using the CB digital ov tests, the ones with the high, peak and low results, two months supply and when you've used them up you simply just email her for more, see the pics anyhow.....
