cupcake I would have said something to her! My Dad called me fat head for years, all the best of us are ;)

lillamyy1 · 29/05/2014 16:45

Aww, lulu your MIL sounds lovely! I was sooooo exhausted and sick when I was pg before. Couldn't stop sleeping! Do you work? Sorry, I can't remember if you've mentioned it or not. If so, I hope you manage alright with your pg symptoms Thanks

That's exciting/brave poppet! I'm going blonde! New hairstyles and spa treats are a great distraction Smile I've just upgraded my phone contract to get a snazzy phone but they sent me the wrong colour so just been to the PO in the rain to send it back, grr. Still, when it comes I reckon it'll be a good distraction too.

I just want AF to hurry up and go now so we can start dtd again!
I was thinking about all those AF-like cramps I got when I was on about CD 16-19 and I thought it was implantation... maybe it was ov happening later than I'd guessed it would?? Anyone know if ov can feel like AF cramps? Seriously, they were really strong!

lillamyy1 · 29/05/2014 16:48

Oh my god, Ducky, how awful!! Poor you Thanks
Is your DP at home to look after you?

Cupcake92 · 29/05/2014 16:49

Aww Ducky :( sounds like an awful day uve had!
Make sure u just relax and chill tonight, feet up with a mag or book and maybe run a nice hot bath with bubbles :)

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 16:57

I've just woken up feeling crap, I hope I'm not catching something! But I vaguely remember my morning sickness starting around this time and feeling kind of like this before! Confused

I had ov pains the other month, they are kind of like AF pains but sharper and usually down one side Smile

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 16:58

DH is at work Hmm but I have just been asleep with the doggies Smile they have looked after me Smile

macmissy · 29/05/2014 16:58

Can I just say thank you girlies, you've really cheered me up over the last 24 hours.

I don't know where I would be without you (well I would - under a big black cloud)

Thanks Thanks Thanks Thanks

poppet85 · 29/05/2014 17:03

Ducky thats awful !! Iam so sorry for you Flowers .

My hairs quite long so its only going mid length but treating myself to the 'fancy' hairdressers rather than trying to do it on the cheap !! Ha!!

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 17:04

It's an ace thread isn't it mac Grin loved your fat head post made me chuckle Smile where about in your tww are you now?

Cupcake, don't listen to them!!! They said dd had a big head but everyone who actually saw her said she was perfect! Stupid big head police!

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 17:04

Thanks poppet Smile

I'm quite lucky, DH does my hair and he's quite good at it! Haha Grin

macmissy · 29/05/2014 17:16

Good question Ducky I have been so maudling I haven't looked! haha - 2 secs! (and yes, it really has brought a smile to my face & you're all responsible!)

Well, just in - I had a positive OPK on Saturday (but based on ovulation symptoms on Tuesday I don't actually think I might have ovulated) is it possible for someone to have a positive at 6pm on Saturday and then Ovulate on Tuesday afternoon?

Last month I had a 27 day cycle so AF should be due 6th June if I am the same as last month.

I am glad the fat head made you smile, it is true though - he did it for years!

Oh Ducky I wish my OH could do mine, although he is bald he can't wash DSS properly - it's quite hilarious. I had to get a friend in to do mine when I had my shoulder ops as he wasn't to be trusted washing it let alone anything else!

lillamyy1 · 29/05/2014 17:16

DP had a massive head when he was little, apparently. Actually, he still does, but he's over 6'5" and quite 'chunky' so he's grown into it! Grin

poppet85 · 29/05/2014 17:20

I love how this thread goes from being very sad to talking about hair or phones then on to how many shags have you've managed this month !Grin

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 17:21

I think it is possible mac! Ov sticks only indicate your lh surge which happens before ov so it is possible to get a positive on sat and ov on tues Smile

Hahaha lil, glad dp has grown into his massive head!! GrinGrinGrin

Cupcake92 · 29/05/2014 17:29

Hahaha :p
U know how I mentioned DS has a massive spot on back of his head I did say to the HV she may have got it wrong and that his spot could have put a few inches on.

She actually remeasured his head to he sure haha!!!!

Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 17:37

:,) hahahaha omg cupcake that's hilarious!! GrinGrinGrinGrin

MrsPopple29 · 29/05/2014 18:09

Haven't managed to catch up with whole thread but cupcake, I'm in exactly the same boat as you bridesmaid wise! If I get pregnant next month I'll be due at the same time as my best friend's wedding! How funny!

OP posts:
MrsPopple29 · 29/05/2014 18:11

Talking about massive heads... At my graduation the photographer spent ages trying to find me a hat because my head was 'deceptively big'. At least it's not obviously big, I suppose... Still, I'm not looking forward to childbirth!

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 29/05/2014 18:16

Hahahaha all this big head stuff is really making me chuckle! GrinGrin

How do you think your friends will react to you being due on their wedding days?

MrsPopple29 · 29/05/2014 18:34

Well, I ended up telling mine the other day and she was very good about it but would obviously rather it was sooner or later! At this rate it won't be a problem but I would also rather not be massive in a bridesmaid dress!

OP posts:
Cupcake92 · 29/05/2014 18:34

Oh no u as well popple!
Well my best friend has said she hoped I was pregnant this month! We'll see about next month! I think she'd worry her head off that I'll go into labour on the actual wedding day, she'll never forgive me :p
Popple, DS was too big in general for me to give birth to him lmao!! Hense the csection :p as I say tho, I blame the steroid injections!! And he was back to back !

MrsMck1 · 29/05/2014 18:50

Hey all, found out today that brother in law's oh is 20wks gone, due October! They live in the Highlands so easy to keep the secret. Other bil dw is due in August so got it from all sides. Can't help feeling Envy. Just gotta hope I'm at least pg by Christmas when we'll all get together. On the plus side will fx have two new neice/nephews Smile

poppet85 · 29/05/2014 19:06

Mrs I was thinking today about how I would feel if one of my friends or family turned and told me they were pregnant . If Iam really honest I would be totally jealous and find it really hard !! Bit different with my sister whos tried for over a year Sad so I will over the moon when she tells me Grin !!!

Bugaboom · 29/05/2014 20:34

Sounds like a difficult day for a lot of you. Ducky hope you are feeling better. Sorry to hear about all the AF visits. Thanks
Cupcake my friend's was told the same about her baby at one year- all fine by 18 months
I am hiding under a duvet on the floor in DS' s room pretending to sleep as it's the only way to get him off. I hope the little bean inside of me is one of those babies who sleeps 12 hours a night ...
