Hi Kitty yes I do feel the pressure now each month and I didn't at all before mc. It's changed everything for me. I wish I could just chill out but I'm still so angry it happened.

Having a BBQ tmrw and seeing dear friend I threw a bb shower for mid miscarriage. It'll be the second time we've seen her bb and I'm ready to tell her why we haven't seen much of them as it is a bit upsetting for us. I would've been able to spend my first 4 months mat with her on her last 4. Anyway enough about that.

Happy birthday Spotti hope you continue to get treated all day long Smile

Hope you all have sunshine where you are today ladies, it's a lovely morning in London

pocopearl · 31/05/2014 12:14

Fellow symptom spotters I either have implantation pains or wind... the wait continues

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/05/2014 13:40

Happy birthday spotti WineThanks

I'm still waiting for af! Which means it's my record longest cycle at cd35! Apparently stress in itself can't shift your af but it can shift your ov and therefore the overall the cycle will be longer. Well I'm fed up of being a stress head! Sad

laurano81 · 31/05/2014 15:10

I felt super frustrated when I came out of the doctor yesterday...he told me that I can't use blood tests to symptom spot! I was so insulted & I have to say I am pretty easy going...My DH always says he is envious of how things don't ruffle my feathers...but that really annoyed me...I have had 3 blood tests, and they told me to have them done...I did ask for the 10 dpo blood test, but just to prove that the progesterone was dropping way to early...long story but I went for colposcopy last year because I was having severe bleeding after intercourse...the GYN said she couldn't see anything..but sent my doc 1 letter saying I may need a D&C to clear out polps, cysts, etc...then she said another letter saying I was fine & didn't need a smear test for 3 years..anyway my doc sent off a letter asking her to clarify her position....I heard nothing for months & then in January I got a phone call telling me I was booked in for a general anaesthetic to have a D&C...I refused to get it done...I had been in Hungary in October after my wedding DH is Hungarian & I had an internal ultrasound there...my womb etc are all perfect...the Prof. there said I had side effects from the pill, a hormonal imbalance giving me an eversion on the cervix, which was causing the bleeding..he gave me some meds & I was perfect there after...so I couldn't see why they wanted to perform a surgical procedure for a hormonal issue...angry! Anyway I have been waiting to see another Prof. of Gyn for the last 15 months, because my luteal phase is too short...the doc admitted yesterday that I have a hormonal balance, but I feel that they are trying to put me back in my box..that they are the doctors & I am the patient...alas all I can do is wait for the GYn...xx Sorry for the long post

Treaclepie19 · 31/05/2014 15:57

So sorry the doctor has been so rude laurano81.
Try and ignore it, I think sometimes they forget we are real people who are just after help and reassurance.
Sending hugs x

Kitty - it seems kind, but she's getting married THE DAY BEFORE my 25th birthday (originally I thought it was ON my birthday...yep, she's that kind i do love my sis really ) so tbh if I am heavily pregnant at the wedding then I'm afraid she'll just have to suck it up and deal with it! We've made the decision to not try in August if we need to out of respect for her, but by no means are we going to not DTD, just on the off chance that Sod decides to play ball for once! And besides, it's not like it's 'just happened' when we weren't trying, so if I'm upduffed and waddling like a penguin this time next year, or I have a screaming little one being "shush"ed by someone at the back of the church then so be it! She'd do the same if it were me getting married aren't sisters lovely Wink.

Having talked to you lot, I know that being - and staying - upduffed can be a miracle, so it's tough if anyone thinks I'm being inconsiderate by not waiting until after the wedding...pfft)

^ look at me having an argument with myself! Clearly lost the plot...

not even sure why I'm worrying because I'm obviously going to be pregnant, have given birth and my little dragon will be past that initial scream-the-house-down-for-everything stage by the time the wedding comes around...might even be pregnant with #2 by the time we plan to get married the following year Wink

Treaclepie19 · 31/05/2014 16:15

Hehe spotti, you can talk almost as much as me :p

I think that's perfectly reasonable! But of course you will have your little baby by the wedding :)

Sisters are lovely definitely... I have two and haven't heard from either of them for over a week now. Mine are much older than me though.

Spotti · 31/05/2014 16:20

I have one older and one younger - 3 years difference in each direction! Oldest lives the other end of the road but still barely see her, and younger sis still lives at home but seems to be spending most of her time out of the city at the minute (she's 21...that sort of explains it all really LOL).

Of course my baby dragon will be at the wedding. He/she will be all dressed up in his/her little dragon costume too Grin.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/05/2014 16:33

Spotti that has made me remember my dsis (dear) hmmm well sort of was so enraged I was pg for her wedding that even though she'd promised for about 100 years id be bridesmaid she refused completely. She was the oldest and assumed she'd be the first to have a baby the therefore have the first grandchild. She was even more enraged that I had another before she had her ds. Ever since I've had to tiptoe around her. Angry

silverine · 31/05/2014 16:39

MissMrsMummy · 31/05/2014 21:28

MrsExtra my cycles are also weird due to stress. As soon as I think I've cracked it, my ov day changes again! Have you tried reflexology? It's supposed to rebalance everything. Though I am not a very good advert for it! Makes me feel calm though.

MrsExtraOrdinary · 31/05/2014 21:44

MissMrs I love a bit of reflexology! Just waiting to get moved, which is my biggest stress currently, then I'll be off to the reflexologist again. My thyroid doesn't help either :-( but once moved I'll have a new gp too.

Treaclepie19 · 31/05/2014 22:26

Lol! wine that is hilarious haha.
Enjoy your night :)

ChandlersFarang · 01/06/2014 03:59

Morning all! hi IneedaBFP, welcome Smile happy anniversary Wine& and a late happy birthday Spotti.

Having had that faintish line on an OPK on Friday (which does not a positive test make!) I've not had another one since, which is weird. I'm wondering if I already ov'd but my CBFM didn't pick it up, or if it's yet to come. DTDing constantly anyway so I guess it shouldn't matter too much - at this rate we've done everything to catch an egg if one appears quietly!

www.infertile.com/how-to-get-pregnant/htgp-chapter-1.htm

Anyway have just spent some of my Sunday lie-in reading this, absolutely fascinating account of exactly what happens during your cycle. The bit about how the sperm get into the egg is amazing! All the stuff I've seen on here makes way more sense now (making your CM perfect/using fertile lube, why people get progesterone tests after ov, and just how many little crazy biological things all have to happen in neat succession to get a BFP!!! etc). Am understanding why the chances of a BFP in any one cycle are as low as 30% now. Might make me a bit more patient! (Well, and keen to see a specialist to get as many of these biological things checked out as possible, seeing as I'm still clearly not sure what's going on in there..!).

cavamonster · 01/06/2014 08:14

Morning ladies, so i buckled and poas this morning - negative at 10dpo. Do you think it would give me a faint line by now is there still a chance?

Planning on having a really lazy day today, we were at the boxing last night and think the excitement has exhausted me Grin
