Thanks hanflan fx it's helped you. Grapefruit juice did nothing for me so thought I'd give this a try.

treacle how about a nice lunch out somewhere. It might take your mind off things for a bit.

laurano81 · 28/05/2014 10:13

gennibugs I think if you remain hydrated it really helps CM. I used to drink loads of tea & coffee before, a habit from work & felt my CM was a bit scarce. Since I cut out coffee & started drinking a lot more water, my CM has definitely increased. Saying that I drink a glass of grapefruit juice every morning as well. It's very popular in the US, for increasing CM. x

gennibugs · 28/05/2014 10:15

Thanks laurano, whilst I cut out caffeine a couple of weeks ago I admit I'm not the greatest with water so will drink more this month.

I may give the grapefruit juice another whirl too - perhaps a combination of the two might help!

Aprilray · 28/05/2014 10:26

Hi Gennibugs, I am also on cycle 6 of ttc #1, fx for BFPs this month.

Misstiggi, thanks for the symptoms - v helpful!

Pretty certain I ovulated yesterday (CD18), had very similar symptoms to you Kitty but also extreme thirst - anyone heard of that being a ovulation symptom or just me?? had a tiny temp dip yesterday and then an increase from 36.39 to 36.67 today...luckily I pounced on DH when he got in after working late last night - annoyed because have been trying to stay laying down after DTD but due to all the water I'd drunk had to get up for the loo - was laying there for as long as I could trying to hold it in - yawn, very sleepy today.
Incidentally I was already preparing dinner when DH text to say he'd be late, I am already eating for two!

freneticfox · 28/05/2014 10:30

I'm now on the wait... AF due next Monday. Fingers crossed!

gennibugs · 28/05/2014 10:39

Fingers crossed for us both April. I've read the average ttc is 6 months so here's hoping we are bang on average :) :)

KittyVonCatsington · 28/05/2014 10:44

Treacle Happy Birthday duck Cake Birthdays change when heartbreak happens but hopefully you get something nice out of today. I second the suggestion of a nice lunch out today. Talk to us about your feelings if it helps too.

Sorry to see you on this bus genni! One word, Hope Grin

Interesting reading your posts lauren I like lots of information! - I'm not sure if the Pill/Depo is a cause or coincidence to difficulty in TTC, as I know biologically, the older we are, the harder it is to conceive anyway. I don't regret being on both the Depo at uni and the Pill since 25 (33 now) though, as babies were not an option then.

laurano81 · 28/05/2014 10:51

Misstiggi thanks for the dpo symptoms Smile, no doubt I will be reading them again during my 2ww..Grin. Wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months xx

Fox & April fingers crossed for your shiny BFP! x April from you temps it seems that you did ovulate! Horray Smile! I get thirsty at different points in my cycle but I really haven't taken much notice..I am on CD 10 today, so I will check if I am really thirsty around ovulation! Smile

kurama · 28/05/2014 10:52

cavamonster · 28/05/2014 11:15

Congratulations misstiggy and thanks for the symptom list - I am now sat prodding my boobs to see if there is any different sensation Grin I definitely haven't lost my appetite in fact I can't stop eating is my problem and I have also now realised I had chocolate the last two days - a sure sign AF is on it's way or that I fancied chocolate

pickled that is funny symptom spotting possibly pre ov. We certainly know how to drive ourselves mad!!

I was determined this month not to poas until 4th June but already looking at FRER's, I've no chance holding out Grin

misstiggiwinkle · 28/05/2014 11:31

misstiggiwinkle · 28/05/2014 11:32

Cava how many dpo are you? I started testing at 6....oops!

cavamonster · 28/05/2014 11:50

misstiggy I got my +ve opk last Tuesday so I think that makes me 7dpo? When did you start seeing a line? I only have the one step pg tests at the moment so doubt they would work early.

hedwiggity · 28/05/2014 12:09

got my first positive OV test today with my monitor :) with two massive lines too. anyone got any tips for how to get rid of OV sickness ? feels like im dying i've got nausea, chest pains, stomach cramps, face aches, and a mouth ulcer the size of an adams apple and i'm supposed to dtd with all this ? Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 28/05/2014 12:30

Natures little joke hedwig! Funnily enough, I missed those symptoms desperately these last two cycles. Just keep your eyes on the prize, that's what I do Wink

gennibugs · 28/05/2014 12:38

I've got ttc on the brain.

Instead of typing "we'd be happy to implement those changes" I typed " we'd happy to implant those changes"

Thank god I proof read my emails :)

Aprilray · 28/05/2014 13:09

Ha ha - maybe it is a sign Gennibugs!

FloweryBoots · 28/05/2014 14:05

Ha ha genni that made me gigle. Thanks for the ehads up on normal lube treacle. That probably means I've rather ruined this months chances. Preseed now ordered! Hope you have a nice birthday despite what you;ve been going thorugh.

hanflan · 28/05/2014 14:51

Hope you are all ready for a bfp-fest this month! We have to see if we can beat Mays record. That bus was really lucky!

I am now 2dpo and have spent a silly amount of time this afternoon looking at the "charts resulting in pregnancy" on Fertility Friend and trying to compare mine Grin ahhhh this two weeks is the longest!

hanflan · 28/05/2014 14:54

"May's" and "these two weeks are". Seriously, my grammar has gone right out of the window. Must be a SYMPTOM!

gennibugs · 28/05/2014 15:26

Definitely a symptom hanflan!! :)

Does anyone here do SMEP? I'm considering bracing myself and trying it this month. ...

Treaclepie19 · 28/05/2014 15:51

Thank you everyone. My bday was the 19th but I was in hospital with the mc then.

We went to the cinema :)
Then to asda but had to come home as u was in tears again.
I just feel like i should be able to control my emotions a bit better.

hanflan · 28/05/2014 15:53

I haven't done SMEP... last two cycles we have done it every day starting from first sign of ewcm, up until the temp rise confirming ovulation. Usually 4 or 5 days in a row. It's bloody exhausting and gave me a bladder infection Hmm. If this cycle doesn't work then I might try SMEP next month!

hanflan · 28/05/2014 15:54

Sorry x-post treacle, don't feel like you should be controlling your emotions better. Cry, get angry, wallow as much as you need. It's a horrible thing to go through and there's no expected way that you should be handling it. Have some [tea] and Cake. xx

Stepawayfromthezebras · 28/05/2014 16:02

Oh treacle there's nothing wrong with crying after what you've been through. It takes time to get over awful sad situations Cake
