April ttc girls continued for may!

New thread for the 'for those ttc in april' ladies and anyone one else who wants to join in....

Just had falling out with DP It as kind of me who started it but I have no idea if I was being unreasonable or not... I was thinking about my job (I'm on a 0 hour contract) and just asked him whether he would be willing to relocate if I got a better offer elsewhere (it's not that easy to progess in my field) - then when he said he didn't know, I got really pissed off! Now I'm writing it it does sound stupid, but the thing is, he's only assistant manager of a bar atm and although he keeps talking about getting a better job in the same industry, he doesn't do anything about it. And you can get a bar managing job anywhere as well. It's not even like we live near our families, so there aren't any proper ties here anyway, we've been here less than 2 years.
Maybe I over-reacted.....My moods have been really up and down recently, he's having to put up with a lot.

I can't help but feel DH are very selfish and lazy when it comes to employment. I have no idea what's going on with them.

I'm 5dpo now, but yes! Feels exactly like AF is on it's way!! Like exactly the same cramps. But it's not for for 2 weeks :(

And Kato no, I got my ov date completly wrong :( so I actually Ov'd 5 days ago but good thing is we carried on dtd anyway so got a lot in this month hehe :p

Me n DH are gonna keep our bfp a secret when we get it. Not telling anyone till our 12 week scan. There are a few of them who wouldn't be too pleased about us having another baby. But we know the time is right so that's all that matters :)
If it was completely my choice I wouldn't say a nothing till 20 weeks maybe more haha

Advice ladies if you have been pregnant before. This is my first. Found out last weekend and spent last week not interested in sex at all, despite DH's best efforts.
Suddenly can't leave him alone. Thinks all his Sundays have come at once today.He seems like the most fanciable man in the world. I just woke up like this this morning Is this hormones? DH wants to know how long it is likely to last.

Yep deffo hormones :) I went from hating sex completely to suddenly wanting it all the time haha! In pregnancy ur sex drive will go up and down the whole time. But my advice ... The last month of ur pregnancy do it as much as u can as meant to help bring on natural labour :p but also do it as much as u can now, as I found it difficult when I had a massive baby belly :/ DS would kick my ribs if we did it hahaa

Cupcake, I told my mom as I am v close to her and I'm not good at keeping secrets! But I can tell mil reaction will be horrible and will probably upset me so I'm leaving it off for as long as poss!

Lulu, most of my pregnancy I hated sex! Poor DH! But towards the end I was v horny ha! I'm the same now, don't want anyone near me! Haha

Thanks Cupcake. I thought it must be hormones. I'm usually a bit more 'balanced ' than this. Still, I have made DH's day today......... and I've got loads of energy left yet if he is up to it. (He's laughing at me -I am reading this aloud as I type it. He says bring it on. Well, that's a challenge if ever I heard one).

We haven't told anyone yet except GP. I know DH would love to tell PIL but it's so early. They are coming up in two weeks but even then I will only be about 7-8 weeks. They would be over the moon .
Wish my mum was still here to tell. I would have told her now.

poppet and popple, when are your AFs due? Have you two had any symptoms strange sensations yet?

Lulu I'm a very spiritual person and believe in it a lot, but I bet ur mom knew before u did :)
My friend and I went to a medium, she said to my friend "ur gran is saying 'take care of that baby'" my friend said 'what baby?' She went home that day did a pregnancy test and boom, bfp. She was so shocked!

1st of June , nothing yet but its bit too soon . Think Ive messed up my opks by drinking to much gin last night and guzzling water today to warn off a hangover !! I havent had a positive yet We're sticking to everyother day for another 5-7 days just to be sure !!

I hope so. Hope she and my dad are somewhere and pleased as punch.

She's just a vile person lulu all we got from her when we lost dd is a fekin card, she made a big deal about going to the funeral like we should have been kissing her feet for showing her ugly face then went round telling everyone the funeral was 'awful' as in rubbish then she constantly made out I was lazy for having time off work and a week after the funeral said 'well at least your over that now' as if it was some small thing I could forget about can't stand the woman!

Ohhh about 3 months before I was pg with dd I saw a psychic and she said are you trying fr a baby and I said no (cus I didn't like to discuss it at the time incase it didn't happen) and she said well you should expect one, you will be pregnant in a few months time

I agree with cupcake lulu I'm sure she knows.

She sounds like a charmer Ducky. Best avoided as much as possible. Negative people don't enhance life do they- they are so destructive.

Lillamy, I'm due around 30th, I think I ovulated on Friday according to OPKs but have had 'twinges' all weekend so not certain! So it's prob too early for symptoms yet. Will be keeping you posted though!

And lulu, I know I'll be the same when I get my BFP- my mum passed away when I was younger and I always wonder how she would react to everything that goes on in my life!

Cupcake, with both pgs I have had a very sore stomach very early on. With my first I fell of my horse when I was 6 weeks (I didn't know I was pg then) and the pain was so bad I just thought it was that, it wasn't so bad this time but was still definitely there!

Can't wait for all the testing
